David Price

Congressman David Price is currently serving his 9th term in Congress. Prior to serving in Congress, Price taught political science and public policy at Duke University, and is the author of four books on Congress and the American political system. He also served as Executive Director of the N.C. Democratic Party from 1979-80 and as Chairman from 1983-84. Price studied at Mars Hill College and was a Morehead Scholar at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He earned his B.A. from UNC in 1961, and continued his education at Yale University, where he received a Bachelor of Divinity degree and a Ph.D. in Political Science.
