I just heard on TV that the reason the Republican Congress and Senate do not have any oversight on any Bills?
Because,(his words)"The Republican Congress and Senate are, "afraid," Of the Administration?"

Do you realize What he said?
"We Can Not Have That?" When grown, powerful men are afraid,
We should be talking about Terrorist, and not the President of The USA and his Administration?

As much as we would hate to do it, we must vote out every Republicans from management and leave only a few in the minority if the Republican Party wants to keep the few that will remain.

We have to

How can Lynn Swann be even with Randell at 44%???

He has yet to articulate his ideas. This is very bad for Ed. Tell Lynn to stick to football and leave the leadership to democrats.

freeforall:

Cowards are afraid. If one is afraid, one should not get into politics, especially to represent the Political LEFT. NO FEAR should be one of the democratic Dean Democratic Party slogans because NO FEAR is representative of the peoples' Governor Dean cleaning up the Democratic Party for equilibrium in our country. The Political LEFT certainly doesn't need a bunch of cowards for their representatives.

Not only must "we the people" vote out all Republicans that are in office, but we must vote out all the DLC-Republican-LITES in the Democratic Party, like Hillary Clinton, Joe Lieberman, etc. who are Republicans camouflaged as Democrats. "NO" DLC Member in the Democratic Party is representative of the "majority of the population" and for certain "NO" MEMBER IN THE REPUBLICAN PARTY is representative of the "majority of the population". THE RIGHT-WING, the Republican Party, HAS NEVER BEEN IN FAVOR OF THE LEFT-WING, the Democratic Party.

An example of the Political RIGHT and the Political LEFT is heat, the Right is HOT and the Left is COLD, "we the people of the greater majority" seek to be WARM. Camouflaged Republicans on the LEFT are seeking to make the whole country HOT and the thing one must remember about camouflage is that camouflage looks real. DLC-Republican-Lites are real "chameleons" and can only be found by their voting.

GOD BLESS AND KEEP GOVERNOR HOWARD DEAN, M.D. SAFE IN THE NAME OF JESUS MY LORD.

Lynn Swann is a joke. Go back and watch football. Our governor Rendell is trying to get us back on track for Pennsyvania. He came in office with big big money problem to fix in which the former gov. left.

Before selecting the next congressional or presidential candidate, ask one simple question:

"Do you openly support separation of church and State ?"

Yes or No .

If the answer is "No", then MoveOn to the next candidate.

Jon_ on March 16, 2006 at 02:46 AM

Democrats are not afraid? Why would you say that?

To comprehend you must understand what you read?

It is Republican's Government Officials Officials, "Representives and Senators, that are afraid of the Republican Administration,IN THE WHITEHOUSE!

6
freeforall on March 16, 2006 at 12:53 PM

The Democrats in the House of R. just tried to fix the Senior Prescription Drug Bill to favor the Seniors instead of the Pharmacies," by putting in an ability for the Government to compete with Pharmacies to get Prescriptions at a lower price."
And the Republicans voted against competitive buying?
Why Oh why do the Republicans favor Pharmicies instead of people?

thanks Deb,

Now this moving around on threads has got me thinking...

Anybody know if the Cherry Blossoms around the Jefferson Memorial are out??

I could go down to take pictures of them and just happen to find my way to the DNC headquarters.

You tell it's a St. Patrick's Day week when the Congressional Republicans give the greenlight to extending the federal debt limit to $9 trillion green dollars, where the lastest foreign and national debt requires $217 billion green dollars a year to pay the interest to foreign and U.S. bondholders.

Since Bush entered office the national debt has grown from $5.7 triilion green dollars to $8.2 trillion green dollars.

PROGRESSIVE VALUES

I like to stop at this site once in a while to read what they are praying for... This part blows my mind. Maybe you all have talked about it, but it's the first I've heard about it.

What's on your prayer list?

As the President has now created a new center for Faith Based and Community Initiatives for the Department of Homeland Security, pray for those who will serve in this effort that they will succeed in removing obstacles to service for faith groups seeking to provide relief following major incidents. Pray that this new law will truly help our government to provide swift and effective relief following major disaster.

It's so nice to see so many "oldtimers" posting again in addition to the newbies... hopefully there will be an auto-thread that rolls over installed as we get closer to election time....this jumping around threads trying to find people is too much hard work :)

It's a beautiful early spring in the NC mountains. Today sucked though because the National Forest Service did a "controlled burn" that must have gotten way out of control. Couldn't breathe in Asheville...couldn't even see the mountains for the smoke.

xdebx on March 18, 2006 at 10:46 PM

Hi GiG. It is closer to the election...I wish my life away wanting elections over with. haha

This "old timer" is feeling woozy/weird from the medication. I so dislike pills, but I know I need them.

Tell bluzy I hope she had fun going out. (I assume she was going to shoot some pool)

I'm off to get some rest.
