Help the New Orleans Public Library

Do you have a few good books gathering dust?

The New Orleans Public Library is asking for any and all hardcover and paperback books to restock the shelves after Katrina.

The books can be sent to:

I've also heard that the post office will offer a discounted rate to ship items to this address.

NO NO NO!! They don't want books!! They don't have anywhere to store them. See http://nutrias.org/~nopl/foundation/donationsfaq.htm.

A great suggestion they have is hold your own book sale and send them the proceeds.
