Republicans Again Avoid Votes on Real Issues

This week, Republicans forced a Senate vote on an unsuccessful constitutional amendment to ban flag burning. Yet last week, Republicans blocked attempts to vote to re-authorize the Voting Rights Act and to raise the minimum wage - issues that are vitally important to our nation. Democrats believe the first priorities of Americans should be made the first priorities of Congress.
