Good News Democrats,
As part of the 100 Actions, you can help Connecticut
GOTV (Get Out the Vote) for Ned Lamont.
MoveOn.org has a virtual phone bank set up.
We can help Ned Lamont win in the Connecticut Democratic Senate primary on Tuesday, Aug. 8, by calling Connecticut Democrats, asking whom they support, and urging the Lamont supporters to vote. This is part of Call For Change, our overall plan to call voters in key races and take back Congress this fall.
Go Ned Go! Kick Joe's Ass next week!
sorta strange to see only lamont promoted by bloggers here. ol' joe is a registered demo and this is a demo site. or, maybe be ol' joe is on the repub blog site?
Joe sold out to big money interests long ago. When you get a traitor, you get rid of him.
The Republi-lites have divided the party long enough. We need REAL Democrats in office.
Ol' Joe is probably lauded as a hero on the Repub site.

you have no idea. The Republicans in this state of CT, all love him. Now why would this be? Because he votes on the important issues for them.
He has helped slant the courts to develop a Theocracy. He voted in the Energy bill, so big Corporations could make millions. He tried to keep Terri Schiavo's body alive for decades to come. Came out against Health Care and Affirmative Action, and I could go on and on.
Yup, the Republicans love him.
Bloggers are people, just ordinary working people, who have educated themselves. That includes everyone reading this post.
Lamont is a people powered campaign. Hence bloggers like what they see.
Peace!
I had to send a donation to support Lamont's effort. My hope is that Lieberman loses and that it sends a message to the rest of the Democratic Party. We need leaders who will represent us, not their own personal interests.
As soon as it was decided that John Kerry would be the Democratic nominee during the last presidential election I knew Bush would be president for 4 more years. The vast majority of Democrats oppose the Iraq war, and what do we do? We nominate someone who supported it...well, he supported it before he didn't support it, or something like that. Frankly, we couldn't afford to lose the last election but we did, and because of it I no longer refer to myself as a Democrat. They're going to have to regain my support and loyalty. Unlike the Bush Zombies, words alone aren't going to cut it. Replacing Lieberman would be a step in the right direction. And if Hillary is serious about running for the presidency, she's going to have to drop the Kerry approach of trying to support the war but not its architects. The other day when she was lambasting Rumsfelt was sat cringing as I listened. She still doesn't get it. It's not the way the war has been conducted--there is no successfully way to conduct this war--it's the fact that we invaded Iraq in the first place. No one who supports this stupid, self-undermining war deserves to remain in office. I just hope the Party elite are listening.
Now, that the people have spoken, Liebermann has decided to slap the people and the Democrat party in the face, and run as an independent spoiler.
Not only that Ken Salazar from Colorado has outed himself as a Republi-lite, by saying he'll support his "good buddy" Leibermann.
Neither of these guys give a rat's patootie about their constituents, or the Democrat party.
They are Republi-lites who will betray the people and the party for power and money.
This is the true face of the Republi-lites who have split the party and turned their collective backs on the true base of the Democrat party.
The DLC/DNC needs to get a clue or get fired.
