Candidates Unite for the Top of the Ticket

Democratic gubernatorial candidate John DeStefano and lieutenant gubernatorial candidate Mary Glassman have united their campaign efforts. The two held a joint news conference, informing voters of their intent to work together on all key aspects of the campaign to defeat their Republican challengers.

The two leaders [first] met in the 1990s when Glassman served as Simsbury first selectman for eight years and DeStefano was serving in his current post as New Haven mayor.

Although they are listed jointly on the general election ballot, both candidates still had to run separate primaries according to state law. But after each defeated his opponent in the primary elections, both are ready to hit the campaign trail together to defeat their opponents in the general election in November.

#1: his/HER opponent.

#2: Please come out strongly against Joe Lieberman. He's campaigning for the dark side and no one has condemned this traitor for what he is.
