Promises Made, Promises Broken
On August 29th 2005, Hurricane Katrina made landfall and a devastated Gulf Coast was left in her wake. On September 15th, with nation in shock over America’s worst natural disaster and angered by the vastly inadequate governmental response, Bush visited a largely flooded and mostly empty New Orleans.
