"I am sorry but I have to get off the reservation when it comes to all the outrage and anger we have been seeing and hearing about lies, oh lawd, yes the blatant LIES in an ABC docudrama about the run-up to 911. Has anyone NOT noticed the infotainment Trend in TV in general and ABC in particular? (See David Olson's piece on Mediachannel.)

Question the Democrats or the demigod that President Clinton has become, with his many good works, and suddenly a work of fiction has enraged the blogosphere, displacing all other issues, and triggering a somewhat hypocritical partisan war. The dems are telling ABC to "fix or pull" the show.

Where, may I ask, was all this outrage about the allegedly NON-FICTION coverage of the main “NEWS” stories of the last five years, from Florida to Fallujah? Where is it today about the reporting on Iran and the blatant violations of the Constitution?

Hello?

We are being lied to every day on so many issues. Why has this one risen to the level of such apocalyptic outrage? If you have forgotten so soon, read this:

Are inquiring minds wrong to question selective partisan pandering?

And good for Newsweek’s Fareed Zakaria for questioning the media drumbeat for war in the new Newsweek in a story entitled, “The Year of Living Fearfully:”

Good morning, everyone.

I'm reposting this from last night, because I feel so strongly about it.

I really didn't think there were that many people willing to admit publicly that they are against this occupation. The Republicans' stormtrooper tactics have been so intense against any dissent that we have effectively silence the silent majority...until now. Games over.

When I hit the phone banks now, I'm not going to be afraid to urge people to speak their minds with family, friends, in the workplace, and in social situations. CSNY resonnated so closely with my generation not because they were against the war, but because they always supported the troops so strongly. Here it is. Pass it along:

Good evening, all.

I was at a "free speech zone" tonight with 25,000 other war protesters. Boy, did it feel good. CSNY performed outside under the stars and made us all feel like we were free again...that we can still make a difference.

We don't need what they are selling. And we don't like what they are selling. And we won't buy what they are selling.

Interesting crowd. Mostly 40's and 50's but a lot of 20 somethings, too. I guess all the 30 somethings are Republicans or else they are too broke trying to raise a family with this Republican economic miracle eating away at their disposable incomes.

And there were vets there. Korean, Vietnam, and Dessert Storm...and yes, even a few Iraqi Freedom soldiers. I know because I overhead a few older vets offering to buy them a drink.

It was a good night. The harvest moon rose over the stage, and everybody let go of a lot of bad vibes and let the music take us to a better place.

They are killing this country. Even their supporters know it's a joke...what this White House and Republican Congress are passing off as an effective government and war effort. They constantly switch agendas, because they can't do anything right. And the worse part is that they are doing it on purpose just to confuse voters.

Shame on them. Sending off good soldiers to a badly planned, needless occupation and acting like they appreciate what they are doing. These brave men and women deserve so much more.

It's a lie. All lies. And they just can't seem to quit doing it. We have to stop them. Thank God there are still people who care.

Why Are We Suddenly At War With "Islamic Fascists"? A Neologism that Signals a Change in Strategy As Elections Near

By JOHN W. DEAN

The latest orchestrated war-speak from Bush Administration officials, as they ramp up their oratory for the mid-term election, has recast Islamic militants and terrorists as "Islamic fascists." Thus, as we approach the five-year mark since terrorists attacked Americans on our own soil, the Administration is redefining the enemy - once again.

We have gone from the non sequitur of the "war on terrorism" (A war on "the use of violence and threats to intimidate or coerce for political purposes"?) to the neologism of the "war on Islamic fascists." Or, depending on the speaker, on "Islamofascism." Why the new rhetoric?

Q:…in the case of September 11th though, do you feel that it is an absolute responsibility that it be factually accurate even if it is a dramatization?

Harvey Keitel: Absolutely, you cannot cross the line from a conflation of events to a distortion of the event. No. Where we have distorted something we have made a mistake-and that should be corrected. It can be corrected. It can be corrected by the people getting involved in the story that they are going to see.

Some speculation from a TV Producer on how this piece of tripe got the green light from the Mouse:

...then comes marketing. marketing took one look at this movie and said--hey, rush limbaugh will love this. so will hugh hewitt. remember, ABC owns lots of radio as well, and in paticular right wing talk radio. synergy! and their audience will watch our movie if they tell them to (they don't call them dittoheads for nothing.) so marketing took the ball and ran with it (probably with cyrus's "friend of limbaugh" help). that's all about generating ratings and buzz.

The US handed over formal command of Iraq's military to the government of Prime Minister Nouri al-Malikiyesterday, described as a key step towards the eventual withdrawal of foreign troops.

"From today forward, the Iraqi military responsibilities will be increasingly conceived and led by Iraqis," said General George Casey, the top US commander in Iraq, at a ceremony to mark the event.

Initially Mr Maliki will control only one of the country's 10 army divisions, as well as the small naval and air forces, with new units transferred to his government's control as he sees fit.

The move, though largely symbolic, is part of a genuine process to make the army more independent of US forces. There is now a chain of command with Mr Maliki at the top and the Iraqi army seems to be approaching something close to its final form.

From my email this morning:

In one of its first actions since August recess, the Senate voted Wednesday on an amendment to the FY07 Defense Appropriations bill regarding the use of cluster bombs. The amendment, introduced on Tuesday by Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) and co-sponsored by Senator Patrick Leahy (D-VT), would have prevented funds from being spent on the purchase, use or transfer of cluster munitions unless the Defense Department ensured that the munitions would not be used in or near any civilian areas. While the Feinstein-Leahy amendment was about the use of cluster bombs generally, it is thought to be triggered by the controversy surrounding Israel's recent use of cluster bombs in Lebanon.

The amendment was rejected in a 30-70 vote. View Roll Call

Virtually on the eve of the September 11 anniversary, President George W. Bush has issued a remarkable defence of what the Central Intelligence Agency did to detainees at secret prisons abroad, techniques that he calls "tough but safe" - but the rest of the us call torture. On Wednesday he even went so far as to brag about how much information the CIA had obtained by using those methods against the al-Qaeda VIPs detained in those prisons.

So the rest of the world can be forgiven for wondering just how much is likely to change, now that Mr Bush has finally acknowledged that secret prisons do exist. True, he says the CIA ghost cells have been emptied, and their most dangerous inmates transferred to the relative limelight of the detention facilities at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba. That is good: it brings them one step closer to public trial and legal due process.

And true, the president made sure that his full-throated defence of "rendition" coincided with some news that seems to indicate a kinder, gentler detention policy: new detention and interrogation rules from the Pentagon that comply with the Geneva conventions and explicitly ban some techniques believed to have been favourites of US interrogators, such as forced nudity and simulated drowning.

But we should not be fooled by what appear to be concessions to the international community, to human rights critics and to the US Supreme Court (which recently slapped down the president's plans for trying terror suspects). For Mr Bush made clear that, though empty, the secret prisons will continue to exist - and he even had the audacity to demand that Congress give the CIA interrogators who operate there, and are not covered by the new Pentagon rules, a new immunity from prosecution for all but the most egregious forms of torture.

In short, rendition can go on exactly as it did before, and if the US is lucky enough to catch another al-Qaeda VIP tomorrow (and if Congress concedes to the Bush request) his interrogators would have virtual carte blanche for how they treat him. The military can keep its hands clean, while the CIA plunges into this murky mess up to its elbows.

Senate to issue Iraq intelligence report
Updated 9/8/2006 12:23 PM ET E-mail | Save | Print | Subscribe to stories like this

WASHINGTON (AP) — The Senate intelligence committee on Friday will issue a report, two years in the making, that Democrats on the panel say will prove that misuse of intelligence played a role in the Bush administration's decision to go to war in Iraq.
"Ultimately, I think you will find that administration officials made repeated prewar statements that were not supported by underlying intelligence," said Sen. Jay Rockefeller, D-W.Va., top Democrat on the committee.

The 400-page study to be released by the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence will examine how the intelligence community used information provided by the Iraqi National Congress, an anti-Saddam Hussein group that had financial backing from the United States.

It will also compare pre-war assessments of Saddam's weapons of mass destruction program with what was discovered about that program after the war.

The report, expected to reiterate the overestimation of the threat posed by Iraq's WMD program and the questionable reliance of intelligence agencies on INC leader Ahmed Chalabi, comes out in the same week that President Bush is emphasizing the importance of the Iraq campaign to the war on terror.

Republican members of the intelligence committee declined to comment on the report Thursday, but Democrats, who have been pushing for its release, said it backed up their argument that Bush's case for war in Iraq was misleading.

What is going to defeat us? Taking bin Laden's bait to spend everything we have in Iraq: our money, our prestige, our young men and women. Why else does he release fear inducing statements, videos, and announcements just before a political election. He wants to defeat us economically, politically, and militarily (which will happen if we are defeated economically and politically).

So if it looks like the Republicans (who have taken his bait hook, line, and sinker -- especially if religion is mentioned!) might be on the verge of losing an election, the timely "message" from bin Laden is exceptionally strong.

He can count on Bush's "Bring it on!" approach to governing to fuel the fear that Americans vote on.

The administration and ABC, along with its backers, have taken the bait. Big time.

WASHINGTON - There’s no evidence Saddam Hussein had a relationship with Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and his al-Qaida associates, according to a Senate report on prewar intelligence on Iraq released Friday. Democrats said the report undercuts President Bush’s justification for going to war.

The declassified document, written by the Senate Intelligence Committee, also explores the role that inaccurate information supplied by the Iraqi National Congress, an anti-Saddam exile group, had in the march to war.

It discloses for the first time an October 2005 CIA assessment that prior to the war Saddam’s government “did not have a relationship, harbor or turn a blind eye toward Zarqawi and his associates.”

Bush and other administration officials have said that the presence of al-Zarqawi in Iraq before the war was evidence of a connection between Saddam’s government and al-Qaida. Al-Zarqawi was killed by a U.S. airstrike in June this year.

Democrats, Republicans react
Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., a member of the committee, said the report is “a devastating indictment of the Bush-Cheney administration’s unrelenting, misleading and deceptive attempts” to link Saddam to al-Qaida.

Sen. John Rockefeller, D-W.Va., the top Democrat on the committee, said the administration “exploited the deep sense of insecurity among Americans in the immediate aftermath of the Sept. 11 attacks, leading a large majority of Americans to believe — contrary to the intelligence assessments at the time — that Iraq had a role in the 9/11 attacks.”

are the republicans sure they want to run on their war record?

Afghanistan deadlier for coalition troops than Iraq. NATO soldiers fighting in Afghanistan face a higher risk of being killed than the U.S.-led international forces that invaded Iraq in 2003, a British statistician says. Bird said the risk to the NATO forces fighting militants in Afghanistan — including more than 2,000 Canadian troops — is approaching the level faced by the then-Soviets, who abandoned their war there in 1989 after 10 years. There is new information from the recently released tape of Osama Bin Laden meeting with some of the 9-11 hijackers. In the tape, they apparently speak of their motivation:

The 90-minute video apparently shows bin Laden, the leader of al-Qaeda, taking part in the planning and preparation of the attacks that killed nearly 3,000 people.

The footage, first aired on Thursday, also shows Abu Hafsa al-Masri, al-Qaeda’s then military leader, and Ramzi bin al-Shaiba, co-ordinator of the 9/11 attacks, meeting in al-Qaeda’s training camps in Taliban controlled Afghanistan.

The tape also says that a previous unknown Arab Islamist, Abu al-Turab al-Urduni, supervised the training for the attacks.

The video said the preparation for the attacks included not only flight training but also lessons in street-fighting and how to forge official documents.

The video also showed two of the 19 Islamists who took part in the attacks, Saudi nationals Hamza al-Ramdi and Wael el-Shemari.

The men said that their actions were inspired by an urge to avenge the suffering of Muslims in Bosnia and Chechnya.

I never heard that before.

Tracy Costin pleaded guilty Wednesday in U.S. District Court in Bridgeport to one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud. Costin, 46, faces a maximum of five years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000 when she is sentenced Nov. 30.

As part of her plea agreement, Costin agreed to repay $82,732 to unidentified clients for 11 jobs between June 2002 and May 2004. The Guilford-based company, DataUSA, is now known as Viewpoint USA.

Democrats: Ready to govern?

56

Can female values improve global politics?

As an example of this hypermasculine ethos, Blumner cited radical Islamic fundamentalism and cultures where "men would rather shoot guns at ancient enemies than build a modern society."

But she argued that the Bush administration with its "cowboy approach to geopolitics," its reliance on warfare over diplomacy and its cavalier attitude toward such niceties as due process is a part of the same problem.

This is another op. ed piece on the local pug running for Cantwell's seat. I find it interesting that he critisizes his biggest supporter (Stevens), distances himself from GWB and tries to follow a path choosen by Clinton and still talks about being 'authentic'

Mike: Too authentic too soon?

McGavick says that President Bush provides an example of what not to do. He says Bush's statement during the 2004 campaign that he couldn't think of a mistake he made was one of the worst moments of the Bush presidency.

"It wasn't believable that he didn't have any regrets, that he couldn't recall a single mistake," McGavick said. "It felt like he was being told by his advisers to never admit a mistake, and so he didn't. It wasn't authentic."

59
Kristen on September 8, 2006 at 04:50 PM

looks like I lost my post.

Anyway, here is an op-ed on the pug running for Cantwell's seat.

It would appear that he is hoping to play up to the liberal voting base of Washington, but the bottom line is he is a pug with an agenda and we all know they can't be trusted with your money or your life.

Mike: Too authentic too soon?

Just a quick hello to all you Democrats. I'm excited to be able to say that I was able to visit all 150 of the homes on my walking list within the timeframe we were given by the Cantwell campaign! I am disappointed with the number of homes with no one home, probably due to visiting them over the holiday weekend. But, this was my first time in this role, so I'm quite pleased with myself.

I celebrated by filling out my absentee ballot this morning, which included voting for myself for Democratic Party PCO. Never in my wildest dreams had I expected to see my name on an official election ballot!

By the way, of those I visited, there is very strong support for a straight Democratic ticket. Of course, everyone on my list were there because they were likely Democratic votes that just need a little encouragement to get out there and cast their votes.

65
Marc on September 8, 2006 at 05:02 PM

Kristen on September 8, 2006 at 05:06 PM:

I did meet Hong Tran during the 46th Legislative district party endorsement meeting at the beginning of August, and heard what the leading Democrats in our district had to say with regard to supporting Cantwell vs. Tran vs. someone else. I have to say that I was NOT feel that Hong Tran would be any better than Cantwell. The only difference is with Cantwell you pretty much know what you are getting, with Tran you'd be in less well-known territory.

Now, I'm not a veteran political operative, but in my very humble opinion I still think Cantwell is the best bet for keeping a Democrat in her Senate seat. I think her vote and explanation on the poison-pill minimum-wage bill (with the wage decrease for tip workers here in Washington state) is quite compelling. I do wish she would be more decisively anti-Bush's war. But, I do think she's a reliable vote when it counts.

71
Marc on September 8, 2006 at 05:18 PM

Marc, I realize right now it's about keeping a Democrat in the seat and the State party did a real screw job on Tran so it would be very hard for her to beat Cantwell and impossible for her to beat McGavick given the difference in fundraising.

I've already completed my absentee ballot and I voted for Cantwell but dang it, she is about as exciting as a wet firecracker.

I don't know maybe I'm crazy or something.

Bush once said that the United States did not hold "prisoners" outside our territory or jurisdiction and would not send them to countries who torture. This was a lie. He admitted it.

Now he "insists" Congresss, before the elections, pass legislation exempting United States Milatary and Intelligence interrogators from prosecution under the War Crimes Act. This is an admission of violating Federal Law and it's not the first time. He also claimed the government always recieved a warrant to wiretap American Citizens, another lie, which he admitted to last year during a press conference.

Enough is enough. We need a Congress that does something about all the lies and manipulation Bush and his Administration have inflicted on America. 95% of any American anywhere would already be in jail if they did even 1% of what Bush and Cheney have admitted to!!!

Their solution is to apparently either scare enough people to hang on or get their rubber stamp Congress to give them immunity for their crimes.

They were dumping crude oil on the ground. Many Iraqis were worried that the ground water in one provence was going to be polluted.

I wonder if he's been making governmental trips back into Jordan where he was convicted of bank embezelling. I believe he's been lobbying for clemency now that he is an Iraqi government official.

Wonder if he's peddling American military secrets again?

surprise, surprise- could it be that mr horowitz is behind this lovely little muckumentary?:

In fact, "The Path to 9/11" is produced and promoted by a well-honed propaganda operation consisting of a network of little-known right-wingers working from within Hollywood to counter its supposedly liberal bias. This is the network within the ABC network. Its godfather is far right activist David Horowitz, who has worked for more than a decade to establish a right-wing presence in Hollywood and to discredit mainstream film and TV production. On this project, he is working with a secretive evangelical religious right group founded by The Path to 9/11's director David Cunningham that proclaims its goal to "transform Hollywood" in line with its messianic vision.

Dear fellow Democrats,
By now most of you heard the news reports which confirms what we already knew that Iraq had nothing to do with the horrible events of September 11, 2001 yet President Bush and other Republicans are trying to put a spin on it by saying Democrats who voted yes on the Iraq war saw the exact same report before the war happened. The reason I'm calling it right wing propaganda spin is because more than once I've heard some Democrats say that simply isn't true because they didn't get to see every little thing in the report and those Democrats that didn't get to see all of the reports should start pounding on this issue over and over to get the truth out there to the American people. We have had more than enough dishonesty from this administration about the Iraq war and it's time that Democrats increase pressure to get the truth out there and hold those who were dishonest accoutable. The American people and the entire world got lied to about the reasons why we went to war in Iraq and it's time for the lies to stop. We need an honest government to gain back the trust and respect of the American people and the rest of the world. If we didn't go into Iraq more troops would've been free for the war in Afghanistan and the chances would've been much greater to have captured and brought to justice Osama Bin Laden who was and still is the real threat to our great nation and others as well. It's a disgrace that Osama Bin Laden is still free and the Republicans can spin it all they want the truth is that this administration has still failed to capture and bring to justice this monster for all of the crimes he has done against innocent people. He should've been caught a long time ago and behind bars where he belongs and it's because of the Iraq war he is still free and things in Afghanistan are getting worse. Let's just hope that Democrats win both houses this November because we need a real change with real leadership and we certainly aren't going to get it with Republicans, they have had 5 years and they have screwed everything up. Also, has anyone noticed how record high gas prices have started to drop as we are getting closer to mid-term elections? It's not too hard to figure out which party the oil companies want to win!

dka- the secret government that is this administration shows very little of anything to congress- and certainly not to the dems on committees and in congress- it doesn't appear that they show that much to their own party- and the members of their own party in congress just lets them continue to run roughshod over them- look at mccain with his pathetic attempt to save some decency by passing that bill against torture which bush promptly added a "signing statement" to that basically said we're going to continue to do whatever we want to do when it comes to torture

The real answer to growing the economy is growing our liquid fuel. Firstly we need plug in hybrid cars. Second we need to put PV solar on every roof in the nation, that feed the grid. Third we grow algae. It can be 1/2 oil by volume. Any farmer that owns bottom land near a stream can build a shallow cement pond, divert water from the stream and grow algae. The algae cleans the water, provides oil, and the rest can be used any way plant fiber is used (livestock feed, cardboard, pellets for pellet stoves, etc.). The farmer will make more from an acre of land than anything he/she can plant.

The oil can be burned "as is" for diesel or processed for gas. Real Americans will be needed for these jobs. Our money stays in this country. Our farmers are earning more. Everybody wins except the oil companies. Search the "Aquatic Species Program". This was done in New Mexico (dry) and would have had much greater results along the Miss. River corridor, and helped clean the river.

On this project, he is working with a secretive evangelical religious right group founded by The Path to 9/11's director David Cunningham that proclaims its goal to "transform Hollywood" in line with its messianic vision.

Evangelical movement, my eye. This is a political operation. They are funneling the money through the Alleluia chorus.

The conservative think tanks figured they would go the same route as those successful documentaries that progressives have been producing....but "dramatize" the facts since they don't have anything else to go on.

Who gave them the faulty intel this time? Cheney or Bin Lauden? Or maybe Mickey Mouse?

Iraq: A Sweeping, Secret New Report.

Bush administration policymakers and their congressional backers may get some unwelcome news from a new analysis on Iraq that the office of intelligence czar John Negroponte will soon produce. In late July, leading Senate Democrats asked Negroponte to come up with a new Iraq National Intelligence Estimate, or NIE, a secret study that is supposed to reflect the views of all 16 U.S. intel agencies. The most recent Iraq NIE, produced two years ago, was generally pessimistic about the future of the country. In a letter to Negroponte, the Senate Dems asked for U.S. analysts' best assessment on a sheaf of awkward issues, including: Is Iraq in a civil war or close to it? How effective are new Iraqi security forces? Is the Iraqi government stable?

The contents of the report may have been foreshadowed in a recent series of closed-door briefings given to Congress by the Defense Intelligence Agency. The Pentagon's intelligence arm painted a scenario in which Iraq could dissolve into civil war if Iraqi security forces don't soon get their act together. One official familiar with the briefing, who asked not to be identified because of the sensitive subject matter, said that the picture it painted was dire.

Good evening all (or morning as you like).
I've been out the last few days, but I did backtrack and read some of the previous threads. Interesting as always!
The main problem I have with the hoopla over this movie is not the content. I, like most people, haven't seen any portion. As far as I know the original screening only included the first half of the movie. In an interview of the writer that I heard today, he states the second half shows the Bush administrations role in this tragedy. What do we say if we agree with that half? Could we be setting ourselves up? I think any one who opposes an article, book, tv show or movie has a responsibility to voice that and challenge it. I cannot, however support my party's call for the heads of those who show or publish things with which we don't agree.
Just as the repubs were "outraged" at the Reagan docu-drama, we should have raised the bar and tried to engage the network in following the movie with a panel discussion.
If we go back to any day before 9/11, the idea that a real attack could occur on our own soil, was not one that could be sold to the majority of citizens or our leaders. That doesn't mean no one cared! It was simply a result of our being safe and sheltered from most of the violence that occurred in other places. We have learned the hard lessons. It is now our job to find a new way to navigate the world in which we find ourselves.
That is what the Democratic party could excel in if we stop taking the bait.
My response in dicussing this with my friends has been this: ok, Clinton could have done something differently. So what? So could Bush. They didn't. Now we are here. If Clinton should have known, so should've Bush! He received the same briefings, from many of the same people. It is a losing argument for them.
More importantly, I believe most people understand the difference between a documentary and a film "based on actual events".
I acknowledge this is not just another movie. The emotion runs high because it such a painful episode in our history. Are the victims dignified by this need to place "blame" on one party or one person? Can't we honor them in a much more profound way by being the party to address issues of security and offer humanitarian solutions to the problems that foster such desperate hate towards us?

Officials: U.S. didn’t find WMDs, despite claims.

Comments are response to claims by GOP senators.

WASHINGTON - Senior U.S. intelligence officials said Thursday they have no evidence that Iraq produced chemical weapons after the 1991 Gulf War, despite recent reports from media outlets and Republican lawmakers.

Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania and Rep. Peter Hoekstra of Michigan on Wednesday pointed to a newly declassified report that says coalition forces have found 500 munitions in Iraq that contained degraded sarin or mustard nerve agents.

Bush is going to hold a televised news confrence at the same exact time as the second half in order to keep Right-Wingers from watching that part.

Italian lawmaker: U.S. told of WMD forgeries

Senator says Bush administration was warned Iraq documents were fake.

ROME - Italian secret services warned the United States months before it invaded Iraq that a dossier about a purported Saddam Hussein effort to buy uranium in Africa was fake, a lawmaker said Thursday after a briefing by the nation’s intelligence chief.

“At about the same time as the State of the Union address, they (Italy’s SISMI secret services) said that the dossier doesn’t correspond to the truth,” Sen. Massimo Brutti told journalists after the parliamentary commission was briefed.

Brutti said the warning was given in January 2003

I think Jefro is becoming a David Horwitz convert. He can't stop talking about him - 3 weeks now.

Horowitz is a former communist who is now an anti communist and Jefro considers him a threat. Jefro must be a communist. Duh!

After this election, which I suspect the Democrats to lose despite all evidence to the contrary, the Democrats in order to survive are going to have to purge the communists. Just as Hubert Humphrey did in Minnesota in the 40's.

The Dems cannot be a national party while allowing the leftists to drag them into goofiness. The Roosevelts, Trumans, Kennedy's and Humphrey's are gone. Now you have Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Howard Dean. If you can win an eklection with leadership like that then God help the country.

The 9/11 movie appears to be ready to present Clinton in the correct light, useless, decadent and cowardly.

I remember when G W Bush was nominated, I breathed a sigh of relief that we had made it through that reign of nonsense and foolishness. Then 9/11 happened and I saw what 8 years of using the Presidency to seduce fat chicks had finnaly produced.

Clinton allowed Al Qaeda to grow, fester, attack us and kill us and did nothing. He did nothing until it was necessary to do something to divert attention from Monica. And then he bombed an aspirin factory in Africa.

Monica for crying out loud - Kennedy was screwing Marylin Monroe and Marlena Deitrich.

If Monica came to my house and showed me her thong I would tell her to put her pants back on. I would not have told Marylin Monroe to do so.

I don't have any cigars but if I did I would save them for smoking.

Why did Clinton send Sandy Berger to the National Archives to steal and destroy documents (Which Berger plead guilty to doing) if he had nothing to hide?

It is time the American people saw a video presentation of just how useless and corrupt the Clinton years were.

You can accuse GW Bush of corruption and lies but you can't back it up.

Clinton's sleaze, corruption and cowardice are well documented.

I hear Rosie O'Donnell is going to play Monica in the movie.
