Hey, listen...two things:
They are still showing the race as still active here! Only 99% of polls accounted for with Webb only 1,300 votes ahead!! This isn't over! Be ready for anything! I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he will pull through! Allen was on top the whole way until the end. But, the results are not official yet!!
Second thing...get some freakin' lawyers down here pronto!! Virginia is going to freak out and call a recount if Allen loses, especially this close. I'm telling you; these are some backwoods, long live the South type of people out here. You better have some lawyers on the ready for some shit they are probably gonna pull.
Help us out!!!!!
Yeah, hey, this thing isn't over yet. They are showing the race as still going on out here with Webb only 1,300 in the lead!
You guys better get some lawyers down here PRONTO! This is a "South will rise again" kinda place and these good ol' boys out here aren't gonna want Allen to lose!!
HELP US OUT!!! SEND HELP IF WE NEED IT!!
TALENT HAS OFFICIALLY CONCEDED THE RACE!!!!!
Time to focus the effort on Virginia. I bet a lot of lawyers are on the road from Ohio right now.
God Bless Jim Webb! He won a great victory for the Real America!
Hey any idea about absentee ballots (they counted already?) and provisionals?
This could get messy!
GO DEMS!
99.71% complete...
Webb still in the lead but Allen closing in fast!
1,169,809 - Webb
1,162,089 - Allen

Boris Zanirato
Good Morning America !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now the america and' more neighbor to the world!!!!!!!!!
99.75% complete!
Webb holding steady at 8,000 votes ahead! Allen threatening to continue vote until next afternoon, possible recount.
1,170,686 - Webb
1,162,327 - Allen
I feel like a stooge for this but I need to sign off from the updates. I need sleep! It will be the first peaceful sleep I've had in a long time, now that power is more balanced in our government.
Here is the link that I am getting my updates from: http://sbe.vipnet.org/ for Virginia. You guys can keep up with it there. Allen is probably gonna drag this thing out, anyway. I hope those lawyers are on the way.
Boris, thank you so much for that comment. Folks like us really appreciate hearing things like that from you over there in that part of the world.
Everybody, Boris is one of many examples of why we should want the Democrats to succeed. The Dems are most likely to improove relations. The rest of the world does not really hate us, or at least they do not want to. They really do think we are great!
Let's proove to them that they are right. Boris, we are already in the position to at least start prooving that to you, with the recent wins made by Democrats! Here's to hoping we keep moving in a positive direction like we are right now. Thanks again.
The GOP sleaze machine didn't work this time.
We still need to work on fixing the voting machines.
I still don't trust the GOP from stealing future elections by
rigging the machines—like in GA in 2004.
Well following the results so far especially the 2 Senate seats remaining; Montana and Virginia I have not read where either of the results is confirmed. But in your websites you are claiming Webb has won in Virginia. As much as I love Democratic party\Webb to win this news is misleading to the rest of the world. Please confirmed before posting. Nevertheless President Bush should have the courage to resign his Presidency after the calamities of his Republican adminisration.
I agree abimbola! This should come as a strong message to President Bush. This country comes together at a time of crisis, I am glad that such a vast majority made the right decision. Yay!!!!
Well what can I say,Democrats,WOW WE DID IT!!!!!!! I live in Richmond,Va and let me tell you, this is a predominately Republican state and for this race to turn toward the Democratic party its well deserved. The Democrats were cheated twice and I guess pay back is something else isnt it!! Karma is a( _____ )fill in the blank. Im so Proud to be a Democrat
While hopeful, I we need to keep an eye on the results at:
This is my first time voting Democrat. I live in rural Augusta County (Virginia) - so you know that I was in the vast minority here. I still view myself as a conservative, but Mr. Webb is a good man and was more than deserving of my vote. I've seen more and more Democrats representing the views that I believe the most in and am happy to see a change. This country was heading down-hill fast and I think that this is the way to correct that error. So, congratulations to all of last nights democrat winners - especially Mr. Webb and our new speaker of the house.
Hey i just heard that Montana has declared Victory for the Democrats.
It's many thanks to Howard Dean who put this thing together. March on, Howard.
As of 2:56 p.m., Webb leads Allen by 7,300 votes with 99.88% of the precincts reporting.
Word has it that there are 33,000 absentee ballots in FAIRFAX COUNTY--aka WEBB Country--that will be counted tonight. If that is true, and I have not been able to confirm that it is, that should add to Webb's lead.
In addition, the recount laws pushed by the Republicans after 2000, which were designed to protect the lead of the apparent leader, should bite old Macacawitz in the a$$.
I think we've done it.
As of 3:51 p.m., Webb's lead has topped 7,400. Keep it coming!
WOW!! Sooooo happy! I've been working on the Webb campaign in Virginia since before the primary. What a wonderful feeling today to know that Ds have the Senate as well as the House! HOORAY for Pelosi!
There is a feeling of accountability, ethics, OVERSIGHT, investigations and (YES!!!) for all this we'll be seeing some great HEARINGS in the near future! I would like to be a part of that process! But, observer, cheers from sidelines -- I could handle that too.

We Republicans are coming to your PARTY and adopting your political culture because we are so alarmed by the degenearates like Mehlman, Haggertt and Ryan in our party. We don't judge people by their life style-- PRIVACY is the essence of individual freedom-- but we judge them by their predatory behavior, be it sexual, financial or organizational. Webb is a Republican Conservative who would rather be right as a DEMOCRAT than a pervert as a REPUBLICAN like our party's election-pros!
Please stop and think how much personal courage and conviction it takes to move to your camp. By now we are comfortable with your kind acceptance and faith in gambling and in trusting us and we will not let you regret it. But we are different neoDeomcrats from you paleoDemocrats. WE ARE NOT LAZY....We are nor organization dependent...But we are issue-oriented, grass roots and one-on-one meaningful dialogue oriented. We are not self pitying Limbaughs and so we will not allow you to lazily let them have solo word unchallenged. We-- AND YOU-- must be there to say: Rush, you're full of BUSHIT and we demand MEANINGFUL DIALOGUE!
You have inherited a lot of us who since at least 2004 were anxious to death about the BUSHIT killing of the America of our Founding Fathers....We seek no gain....We fight to save America much as some of us did in service to it.
Please appreciate our individual acts of faith and our intollerance of election-pros as substitutes for individual action and debate....We are gravely allergic to Democratic Rove-look-alike political-pros....But we love you Democrats because, under the corrupt crooked wheeler-dealer crust at the top of your party, you have a boiling couldron of young and old idealists who, since the 1960s, recognized that what makes America a democracy is MEANINGFUL DIALOGUE....So if we fight your versions of Rove, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Mehlman, Haggert, Ryan and other perverts, it is because we know what they can do to a political party-- they did it to our party, the Republican Party, now run by people before whom you can't bend down to pick up somewthing you dropped.
America was passed into your hands...But you are by nature lazy and seekers of freebies-- in contrast to Republican carniverous preditors up and down the line of our party....We want you to build on what you got in 2006 so that America will be led by pro-Americans, not by pro-meismists. So if we scream at you, it is because we love you as partners in a better and caring America we want to leave to all our kids...We love you Dems and share in your victory....Now don't squat on it...rest tonight and tomorrow start building on it a grass roots issue oriented dialogue with every and all takers. Good luck brother Americans. We Republicans thank you for defeating us, accepting us and working with us for a real America clensed of BUSHIT!
Great victory by Jim Webb. Virginia finally has a leader in the Senate.
Congraulation to Jim Webb he represents the new democratic political look. I hope those in positions of authority with-in the party are as impressed with Jim Webb as those who voted for him. He represents the future. Let hear more from him on the national scene. He should be considered for the vice in 2008. Thank you
Bob Fuentes

Hoooooooooooray! for you and the state of Virginia
My decease grandmother always told me democracts will rule one day just be patience. I hope it is for the better. The state of Virginia needs help. I recently relocated back to NJ, because of the low wages and lack of resources. She always told me the democacts sympathize for the minorities and the poor.

I think we should stop thinking of James WEbb as
Senator-Elect from Virginia, and start thinking of
him as a dmeocratic nominee for the Presidency of the United States. In his run for the senate, I've seen a man grow in stature as never before.
Against all odds he derailed George Allen, the darling of the GOP, and front runner for his party's nomination, and this in a southern state.
If you look at the front runnners of the democrat
party, Clinton, Kerry, Gore, all good peeople, but
laden with lots of baggage. Edwards and Obama are
as of now, both light weights lacking the type of experience we need "now". James Webb on the other hand, is a fresh face, a new name. His experience comes from a military background, from his distingueshed service in the Vietnam War to serving as Under Secretary of the Navy, during the Reagan Administration. His being a republican
at that time only serves to make him more credible to a vast number of voters. The reason he became a demaocrat was to run against the rubber stamp Allen. His intellectual persuits would be a be welcome constrast to the present occupant of the White House. He recently wrote an article for the Washington Post in which he shows a populist concern for our lower and middle class tax payers.
The next president, to my mind, will be a two term democrat, and will almost certainly pick, Barack Obama as a running mate. Obama, then will
not and should not be denied his rightful place as president for another two years.
I know it is unprecedented for a man who just went through a grueling campaign to capture a senate seat, now to turn around and run for the presidency, but it could, and should be
"Webb - Obama" for 2008. An unbeatable ticket.
