Democratic Presidential Candidates Debate Tonight in Charleston
Posted by Stephanie Taylor on July 23, 2007 at 12:10 PM
Right now I'm writing from The Citadel in Charleston, South Carolina, where the Democratic presidential candidates will be debating tonight in the first debate sponsored by the Democratic National Committee. I'll be writing updates and posting pictures through the day to give everyone a sneak peek behind the scenes at the Democratic Party in action.

GREAT! Lucky YOU being there! Have FUN!
Does anyone know if there is a way to get tickets for the debate tonight in Charleston
Stephanie, Good for you, gal. Try and have fun while being our resident blogger !
The Democratic party has failed to advertise sufficiently this debate. My Satellite provider, DISH Networks, did not produce a description of this debate when I did a search on "debate". When I looked at the schedule, it did not list the debate as what it is. When I called DISH Networks, the human had no way of determining what time it would appear on CNN or even if it was on CNN. The local newspaper in San Diego, the Union Tribune, had nothing on its TV page nor in its weekly TV magazine.
The best free advertising that we can obtain to elect a Democrat President is these debates! The Democratic Party must make sure that the viewers know where to find information on how to view the debates and when to watch them. This information should be placed prominently and with detail on the Democratic Party Web page!
After the debate, we should be able to vote for our choices at this web site. At least, a first and second choice should be included. Since this election is becoming a TV show, the Democratic Party should collect contributions for the election to be given to the candidate who receives the nomination to fund his or her campaign.
Hi. See you all in Denver at the Pepsi Center real soon.
I like the You Tube video submits here, very cutting edge.
I have to call the debate a draw for the top tier and with Richardson and Biden tying (imo) on the 2nd tier.
Hillary keeps surprising me.
Eddie did better this time
Biden always candid. I like that.
Kucinich's smile looked so fake (sorry jmo)
Richardson clearly could hit the ground running
I like them all compared to their PUG counterparts it's like SUNSHINE versus OLD MOLD.
Great format this time. I enjoyed it.
Howard looked pleased too when they panned over to him.
