Mitt Romney: Iraq Like a GOP Fundraiser
Posted by Michael Link on July 26, 2007 at 03:41 PM
Mitt Romney's endorsement of a Republican fundraiser where donors will be firing Uzis and M-16 rifles: "Let them participate in that and come back with a much bigger appreciation for our military men and women in uniform in harm's way."
A Republican fundraiser is just like what our troops in harm's way in the middle of a civil war, in the heat of summer, are going through? Way to minimize their sacrifice, Mitt.
UPDATE: Here's the video, and there's a lot more that's worth noting on top of what I just described. Just watch.

I wish that our men and women in Iraq did not have to undergo their needless stresses when we couldn't solved this issue by just fighting global poverty. We spent over 340 billion dollars on this war when all it took was 19 billion to end starvation and malnutrition worldwide.
Mitt Romney is one arrogant, immature, self centered ego maniac. Not presidential material!!
I don't get what they are going to be doing with these weapons a fund raiser?
Pretending they are in Iraq? Shooting at each other? Using them to hunt game or to shoot fish in a barrel? Maybe they will put a target on the pet carrier up on top of the Mitt Mobile and shoot at that?
If the Bushies really want their favorite son candidate to raise lots of money, why don't they offer these folks a chance to go quail hunting with Dead Eye and a six pack?
Well, Hover told us to vote for him and he would put a chicken in every pot in America. Now Romney will put a gun in every house if you want it or not. Yes the NRA and the republicans. A match made in GUN heaven. It must be very sad to pray to a AK-47.
