Despite assuring the American people that anyone within his Administration involved in the leaking of classified information would be "taken care of," President Bush commuted Scooter Libby's sentence. Here's the web video we just put out:

Bill & Hillary:
Worse than you thought & worth remembering, and this came from a Democrat

Dear ( Ex) President Clinton:

I recently saw a bumper sticker that said, "Thank me, I voted for Clinton-Gore." So, I sat down and reflected on that, and I am sending my "Thank you" for what you have done, specifically:

1. Thank you for introducing us to Jennifer Flowers, Paula Jones, Monica Lewinsky, Dolly Kyle Browning, Kathleen Willey, and Juanita Broderick. Did I leave anyone out?

2. Thank you for teaching my 8 year old about oral sex. I had really planned to wait until he was a little older to discuss it with him, but now he knows more about it than I did as a senior in college.

3. Thank you for showing us that sexual harassment in the work place (especially the White House) and on the job is OK, and all you have to know is what the meaning of "it" is. It really is great to know that certain sexual acts are not sex, and one person may have sex while the other one does NOT have sex.

4. Thank you for reintroducing the concept of impeachment to a new generation and demonstrating that the ridiculous plot of the movie "Wag the Dog" could be plausible after all.

5. Thanks for making Jimmy Carter look competent, Gerald Ford look graceful, Richard Nixon look honest, Lyndon Johnson look truthful, and John Kennedy look moral.

6. Thank you for the 73 House and Senate witnesses who have pled the 5th Amendment and 17 witnesses who have fled the country to avoid testifying about Democratic campaign fund raising.

7. Thank you, for the 19 charges, 8 convictions, and 4 imprisonment's from the Whitewater "mess" and the 55 criminal charges and 32 criminal convictions (so far) in the other " Clinton " scandals.

8. Thanks also for reducing our military by half, "gutting" much of our foreign policy, and flying all over the world on "vacations" carefully disguised as necessary trips.

9 Thank you, also, for "finding" millions of dollars (I really didn't need it in the first place, and I can't think of a more deserving group of recipients for my hard-earned tax dollars)
for all of your globe-trotting. I understand you, the family and your cronies have logged in more time aboard Air Force One than any other administration.

10. Now that you've left the White House, thanks for the 140 pardons of convicted felons and indicted felons-in-exile. We will love to have them rejoin society. (Not to mention the scores you pardoned while Governor of Arkansas)

11. Thanks also for removing the White House silverware. I'm sure that Laura Bush didn't like the pattern anyway. Also, enjoy the housewarming gifts you've received from your "friends."

12. Thanks to you and your staff in the West Wing of the White House for vandalizing and destroying government property on the way out. I also appreciate removing all of that excess weight ( China , silverware, linen, towels, ash trays, soap, pens, magnetic compass, flight manuals, etc.) out of Air Force 1. The weight savings means burning less fuel, thus less tax dollars spent on jet fuel. Thank you!

13. And finally, please ensure that Hillary enjoys the $8 million dollar advance for her "tell-all" book and you, Bill, the $10 million advance for your memoirs. Who says crime doesn't pay!

14. The last and most important point - thank you for forcing Israel to let Mohammed Atta go free. Terrorist pilot Mohammed Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called "political prisoners". However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands. The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, "insisted" that all prisoners be released. Thus Mohammed Atta was freed and eventually thanked the US by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center . This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified. It was censored in the US from all later reports. Why shouldn't Americans know the real truth?

What a guy!!

If you agree that the American public must be made aware of these facts, pass this on. God bless America and THANK YOU (once again) for spending my taxes so wisely and frugally.

SINCERELY,
A US Citizen
PS.
Please pass along a special thank you to Al Gore for "inventing" the Internet, without which I would not be able to send this wonderful, factual e-mail.

AND THE REST OF THE STORY Hillary Rodham Clinton, as a New York State Senator, now comes under the "Congressional Retirement and Staffing Plan," which means that even if she never gets reelected, she STILL receives her Congressional salary until she dies. (Would it not be nice if all Americans were pension eligible after only 4 years?)

If Bill outlives her, he then inherits HER salary until HE dies. He is already getting his Presidential salary until he dies. If Hillary outlives Bill, she also gets HIS salary until she dies. Guess who pays for that?

WE DO!

It's common knowledge that in order for her to establish NY residency, they purchased a million dollar-plus house in upscale Chappaqua , New York . Makes sense. They are entitled to Secret Service protection for life. Still makes sense.

Here is where it becomes interesting. Their mortgage payments hover at around $10,000 per month. BUT, an extra residence HAD to be built within the acreage to house the Secret Service agents.

The Clintons charge the Federal government $10,000 monthly rent for the use of that extra residence, which is just about equal to their mortgage payment. This means that we, the taxpayers, are paying the Clinton 's salary, mortgage, transportation, safety and security, as well as the salaries for their 12 man staff -- and, this is all perfectly legal!

When she runs for President, will you vote for her?

How many people can YOU send this to?

This is a great example of the federal, state and local gov't's run away spending and self perpetuation and benefits on the back of the people who are for the most part, clueless.

No one, no one has a right to bulk!

We encourage gov't employees to spoil themselves then reward them by re-electing them. We get treated exactly as we allow gov't to treat us.

Saps! That's America! THE HOME OF THE BRAVE? THE LAND OF THE FREE?

If you allow gov't to tell you what is allowed or not. What is to be given or received. What is right or wrong without question, just because it's the polite thing to do, you're are a sap. You can stick the flag up your ass and whistle dixie all day long and in the end you're still a sap!

Michael Moore is right: The French government listens to the people because they voice their discontent and the gov't responds to the desires of it's people because the French gov't fear the people.
In America, the people are fearful of the gov't. because it's not polite to disagree and show any signs of anger.

Americans very rarely act on their conscienceness when it comes to the gov't. That's cowardly! Not bravery. That's bondage, not freedom.

Like George Bush and the Christian Right making a mockery of Christianity, we make a mockery of our founding fathers' wisdom and sacrifice.

Happy Fourth!

While I appreciate that the intent is to demonstrate that Bush is a hypocrite, it doesn't strike me as a good idea to give him another microphone.
The problem we have is that it really doesn't go down well with people to try to hold politicians to their predictions, because the situation may change in the interim.
Bush has been particularly consistent in saying the same things time after time, but most people realize that it's impossible for him to match his intentions with what other people do.
Democrats are proud of Truman for saying "the buck stops here" as an example of responsibility. But what that meant was that if he took responsibility for what other people did, they'd be off the hook.
Bush claims to be in charge and then is proven not to be in charge. So?
Are we complaining that he's not a competent dictator?

Oh, and I don't like the fund-raising patter either. "George Bush is bad so send us money" sucks.

Are the democrats taking memory pills? You all must be, because I remember the King of Pardons and clemancy, Bill Clinton making more pardons than anyone else. And Hillary Clinton said this on June 28th. "Nonviolent offenders should not be serving hard time in our prisons. They need to be diverted from our prison system." Yet in a press release on July 2nd - four days later - Hillary Clinton said about Scooter Libby "Today's decision is yet another example that this administration simply considers itself above the law. This commutation sends the clear signal that in this administration, cronyism and ideology trump competence and justice." this is a nonviolent offender. Nobody can cite any previous record that Scooter Libby had. On two occasions, separated by four days, Mrs. Clinton utterly contradicts herself. We know who she is. But it's not because she reveals it. It's because she can't hide it. Most people can't hide who they really are. he can't hide it. She doesn't have to reveal it. She tries not to reveal it. This is the hobgoblin here of little minds. Now, Bill Clinton blasted the Libby clemency and said that his pardons were different. Yeah, he sold his! He sold a lot of his. He kept a lot of the money that was given to him. Million bucks, the Clinton Library and Massage Parlor. And let's not forget Sandy Burgler, stealing documents from the National Archives in his socks or what have you...FALN, and the Tony Rodham affiar, and Roger Clinton, and Whitewater, and the girls of Bill Clinton's oval office of burlesque. This is a man who pardoned more people than any other president, yet is attacking Bush, who has pardoned few, over Scooter Libby! Living in glass houses are we? And let's not forget Hillary Clinton's role in these sorted affairs. Hillary claims she didn't know about Marc Rich and her brother Tony. You mean to tell me that this control freak of a woman didn't know what was going on in the White House? She KNEW because she didn't want her husband to destroy their future political careers with his exploits. She KNEW!!! And she went along with it. People...this is big. Don't attack this administration. It's Clinton Inc. that thinks they are above the law. I supplied the evidence. Open your eyes!

sad thing is this ad could have been made into a mini series with all the lies we have been told in the last 6 1/2 years.

Bush might as well do an ad pushing world dictator’s lack of accountability, failing America as he has.

I think it is possible that Cheney and Rove may have had knowledge Ms. Plame may have worked only in Iraq and that’s how they rationalized breaking the law, in not fearing for her life’s safety with Saddam since they were taking him out. Thanks to President Bush for letting himself be easily manipulated by blind faith in his political advisor’s, we will probably never know if that was the truth.

We will never know how hiding pre-war knowledge suggesting Iraq had no weapons might have been a motive behind the leak? How the Iraq war might have been manipulated by Cheney’s office if he knew that Ms. Plame, like her husband, thought there were no weapons in Iraq that could expose Cheney‘s pre-war knowledge? Nor will we ever know if Rove got involved with the leak after the war simply to cover up for the party politically?

Not even the President’s Republican Party leaders can be cleared of the political motives for war thanks to the White House not co-operating with the investigation.

If America could have investigated the CIA leak further, with co-operation from the White House, my guess is that the public would have at least looked at questions behind Seymour Hersh’s 2003 New Yorker article. The article documented that CIA analysts were hearing gossip about some in the CIA possibly setting Cheney up in the Niger/Iraq forgery. “Someone deliberately planted something false in there”, the former analyst told Mr. Hersh of the forgery. I ask, would there be CIA surprise of something false being planted in a forgery to make it look like a forgery or instead, to make it look real?

Did some CIA members tamper with the original Iraq/Niger forgery because some strongly suspected that there were not weapons in Iraq and they were trying to make other countries think it was a forgery to destroy Cheney’s war plans? Or did Cheney mess with the original Iraqi forgery himself to make other countries think the forgery was instead valid to push the war? Then, did Cheney try to turn it all around on the CIA after the war, initiating the gossip that it was some of the CIA’s own to cover for his self?

My take is that Saddam Hussein forged his own forgeries to make the world think he had weapons of mass destruction to protect himself because he knew everyone was afraid he would use them on civilians if he ever used them. The examination of documents originating from Iraqi Government offices might explain why intelligence agencies first thought that Hussein had the weaponry, while no evidence on the ground caused internal debate and argument between others in the CIA.

I think however, it does sound like the original 1999 Niger/Iraq uranium forgery may have been tampered with by someone or some people for some reason.

None of these questions behind the CIA leak can now be answered because of this President’s lack of accountability and transparency. Not even answers that could even clear the President’s own involvement in manipulating the war.
