Rhode Island Democrats Launch New Website

The Rhode Island Democratic Party has launched a new website. Features includes a blog, a Google calendar of Democratic Party events, a podcast tribute to the "Democrat of the Week," and a link to our very own 2008 Republican research center.

Rhode Island Democratic Chairman Bill Lynch introduces the site here:

Note: We wouldn't have known about this if we hadn't caught the Partybuilder post from Pat Crowley. Thanks to Pat for pointing it out here.

I just wanted to make a comment on your new Senator, Sheldon Whitehouse. I was born and raised in Rhode Island. I left in 20 years ago this month, my spouse, at the time, got transferred to another state.
I am so proud to say I am from Rhode Island and to abstactly be connected to Senator Whitehouse. I have just recently moved to California to be near my Marines and have watched all the judiciary hearings. What a wonderful job he has done!!!
Rhode Island YOU HAVE DONE A WONDERFUL JOB in hiring/electing this man. This week on CSpan will be a repeat of all the hearings. Please, if you get a chance, watch your Senator in action.
Senator Whitehouse, does not preform like a newbie, the questions he asks and the way he handles himself, I am just so impressed.
Good Luck to you on your new website!

Great forum with Keith Olbermann moderating tonight.

I have been for Barack Obama. But I would take any of these candidates over anything else on the Republican list. The man in the audience on crutches who was breaking down because he couldn't pay for his wife's health care brought tears to my eyes.

I am so tired of the lies and the deceit from the George W Bush administration. And I am so beside myself with not being told the truth by my government. Running this country and being the symbolic leader of the world is way over the capacity and integrity of President Bush.

I'd like to be able to hear my President speak and not cringe.

Ban corporate lobbyists.
Join the global perspective with national integrity.
Get some backbone and deal with the boring but vital issues facing us, such as education, health care for all, infrastructure, and open and accessible government that has been buried by the Bush administration.
Pay our financial debt to China and own our own government and foreign policy by doing so.
Katrina defined George Bush's compassion or lack of it.

George doesn't "get IT".

Impeach Alberto. Impeach Bush. Impeach Cheney.

Karl Rove has got to get his due.
