GOP Desperate: Distributing Fake Pictures Of Democrats

Posted by Kombiz Lavasany on August 20, 2007 at 02:01 PM

How desperate are Republicans? In the bellwether state of Kentucky the Kentucky GOP is passing around a fake picture of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Steve Beshear.

GOP leaders said Thursday they will be distributing a fake photograph of Democratic gubernatorial candidate Steve Beshear standing beside a casino table with a drink in his hand.

...

The depiction has Beshear's head, with a sparkling front tooth, on someone else's body dressed in a white sports jacket, a white shirt with an open collar, holding a beverage while standing at what appears to be a roulette table covered with gambling chips.

Republican Ernie Fletcher, the current scandal plagued Governor of Kentucky is more than 20 points behind Steve Beshear in recent polling.

It must be bad if they're advertising in advance they're slinging Photoshopped mud at Beshear.

That's one of the lowest tricks ever. They are so desperate.
The campaign manager should resign.

Will this be on the National News?

If it makes it on the news it won't mean nothing. Look at Kennedy. He killed a woman driving a car while DUI and he made it to a Senator.

Looks like this next year is going to be more of the same.
There was a lot of that kind of garbage going on during the Jon Tester/Conrad Burns campaigns in 2006. The Republicans were calling people with phony push polls claiming to be from the Montana Democrats and asking loaded questions that purposely would make Tester look bad. I got called twice, and I only have a cell phone. I got a little vehement on the last call and they didn't bother me again, but when I was knocking on doors for the Dems, there were a lot of people who were complaining about the calls and asking questions about issues I knew came from the phony poll. I did my best to answer them, but in a lot of cases, I don't think people were convinced.
It was the dirtiest campaign I've seen, and only proved to me that Republicans will lie cheat and steal to get elected.

But if the GOP is against drinkers & gamblers, how do they explain George Bush? ^o^
A famous drinker, Bush has gambled the REST OF THIS CENTURY on his failed attempt to control the world's oil supply for the benefit of his cronies at Exxon.

Don't worry, Be Happy. Noone payes any attention to any Republican. They have lied, stole, and cheated so much people just ignore them.
