She's gaining a reputation for fearing accountability, but that isn't stopping VoteVets from launching this new ad campaign:

This vet says it like it is. Bush is obsessed with Iraq instead of Al Queada.

I don't think the Republicans dreamed that so many veterans would speak out against this foreign policy mistake. I anticipate that the Swiftboat attacks against them will be coming in hard next year.

Collins would be wise to listening to what this vet has to say and vote accordingly instead of joining in the GOP smear machine. Let's see what she does.

The bravery of our troops in the field or speaking up in our town squares has never been so appreciated.

Why don't you take this up with Ann Colter

If this many people think bad about the war, and you comprehend that, then why don't you comprehend the ill feelings for higher income tax?

Just as you have stated here, is the same thing people on the other side of the aisle think about the dems and higher taxes. You agree with one and not the other.

Well guess what, it works the other way.

So have your fun with this issue, or take your hatred out on either the Reps or the world. If it releases anxiety, it will probably help your health and physical well being

Do you have an offical count on the people that speak for and against? Regardless if they are for and against, Bush has made his call on this. Afghanistan is different than Iraq in many ways. But I think Iraq could have been totally avoidable if the Iraq government would have just complied with the UN Sanctions. So, whether you think I am for the Dems, the Reps or Bush, just remember, there were a large number of UN sanctions against Iraq to comply and Hussein could have totally avoided this. Whether you blame Bush the Reps or whomever. This is what we are in for and if we are going to leave Iraq, we need to ensure we do not have to come again to the same region. If that means a bigger surge or if that means a meeting of these great "minds" that got us into this then so be it. Remember, it is going to take honesty from everyone including Syria, Iran, Saudi, Bush, Dems and Republicans to accommplish this. One hold out from any of these groups and everything is up for grabs. You will never get Iran to leave Iraq alone though. Iran lost 500,000 people to Hussein in their war. so Iran will not let go until they feel they have achieved justice
