Rudy freaks me out. What a dingdong, surrounding and crowning himself with 9/11. Heard several days ago on a public radio news show that according to those on the panel for study of the facts of 9/11, Rudy was named for that panel, but almost never made time or accepted the responsibility of attending meetings. Giuliani sucked as a District Attorney and sucked as mayor. His involvement with 9/11 included the stupidity of putting the city's command and control center (fire department and police communications center) in the WTC against recommendations from numerous experts. He was advised to place it in an underground facility in Brooklyn - where it finally is now. He is ego driven!
Losing the command center was directly responsible for the loss of over 300 firefighters and who know how many of the victims of the attack on the WTC.

In addition to that, Rudy boy bought police and fire department radios pre-9/11 that could not communicate with each other! He was advised to fix that problem way before 9/11 but did not, despite advice from experts and pleas from the fire department and police departments.

If you do any research, Rudy is despised by the Fire Department because he did nothing after 9/11 but grandstand, looking for photo ops, etc, and he insisted on removing the rubble before all the lost firefighters could be found - so now they are in a dump where the rubble was sent.

i called my wife when i arrived at my destination PRE-9/11, mostly as a courtesy to let her know i made it. when he landed, he could have called and said "i made it honey and i'll be speaking for the next hour so i won't be answering the phone." first of it's called courtesy, thats why i turn the phone off in movies, second its called more of the fear mongering and an excuse to get away with anything he wants.

He really needs to get off his high horse. Using 9/11 as a polical position should have gone out the window with the last election. We all know what he did after and during 9/11 and we all know it was a show, so he really needs to stop show-boating and get on with the real politics and stop with inflating his own ego on something that was BS on his part anyways
