New Audio of Rush Limbaugh Viciously Smearing a Veteran

This morning we told you about Rush Limbaugh's comments calling soldiers who oppose the war in Iraq "phony soldiers." Now we've learned this isn't the first time he's smeared the troops.
Check out this clip from his radio show in 2005, in which he viciously attacked Paul Hackett, who served in the 1st Marine Division in Ramadi and Fallujah, and returned home to run for Congress in a special election against Republican Jean Schmidt.
Limbaugh calls Hackett a "staff puke," and claims that he served in Iraq only to "pad his resume."

Rush is one of the most despicable humans to have ever walked this fair earth. I do thank him though for helping McCaskill win and cement our control of the Senate. I have a feeling he will help us big time in 08...maybe he is a closet progressive???
Look at me for example, posting comments here for apparent political purposes. In reality though my purpose has everything to do with winning the War and supporting the troops.
but you see, common, you are blinded to the Truth. There is NO WINNING this occupation! Get that through your head. an occupation cannot be won. Our boys in the mddle of a Civil War of shias and sunnis each fighting for control, cannot be 'won'!
Did you not see even Bush has dropped his propoganda of "victory' in Iraq? Do you not read ? Now he is using 'sucess' which is such an easy thing to achieve. 'sucess of only 68 deaths this month, not 99.' 'sucess of electricity running for 8 hours a day instead of 4. etc, etc. see, this is how they continue to keep gullible, easily swayed guys like you on the hook.
If we criticize the military, it is because they are blindly following and obeying an illegal, immoral act. The few generals with any guts who dare to stand up and tell the truth, are quickly fired or put out to pasture. Do YOU not have the guts to tell the truth?
WE SUPPORT THE TROOPS. OUR WAY IS TO BRING THEM BACK OUT OF THE MIDDLE OF A FAILURE OF AN OCCUPATION AND INVASION. Your way? Let them keep dying for a Lie ! So don't say you support any troops here ! We know what is going on ! We point our fingers at anti-american, anti-troop guys like you !
