Unconstitutional? So Would McCain Ignore It?

John McCain's nonsensical claim that the Webb's amendment is unconstitutional is shot down incredibly easily by Josh Marshall.

So, yes, the rhetoric is bogus. But the next step is finding out whether a "President McCain" would ignore the law if Congress succeeds in passing it, given that he believes it's unconstitutional.

Yes, he would ignore the law. And I've had it with these Republicans who ignore the Constitution. They seem to forget that it's the Constitution that makes America the greatest Nation in the World.

These Republicans will pander to the Religious Wrong, and trade the Constitution for the bible. Then they have to nerve to talk about "Freedom." Our freedoms are under attack because of these anti-Constitution Republicans.

Josh Marshall has a very valid argument.
Under UCMJ, commanders cannot abuse soldiers nor punish them for refusing unlawful orders.
Failure to provide proper equipment and adequate recovery time between deployments fall under abuse. As for unlawful orders, isn't ordering soldiers to invade a country by lying in itself unlawful?
Let's impeach Bush/Cheney, and find out!
