Ann Coulter: "Personal Fantasy" To Take Away Women's Right To Vote
Posted by Stephanie Taylor on October 5, 2007 at 12:08 PM
Ann Coulter, a right-wing Republican columnist, said in an interview that she believes women should not have the right to vote. Seriously?
"If we took away women's right to vote, we'd never have to worry about another Democrat [sic] president. It's kind of a pipe dream, it's a personal fantasy of mine, but I don't think it's going to happen."
Oh, right, she has a new book out. I guess she has to say something to get attention--like last time, when she publicized a book by slandering 9/11 widows.

Ann Coulter is complete ass, she made an idiot out of herself just like she always does when she opens her big mouth and says things just to get attention to try and sell her books. How desperate can this woman be? I'm a guy and I know many other guys that vote Democrat. No body should pay any attention to her because she is only says these stupid things to make money. Ann Coulter isn't important and she stands for nothing!
Is this because she was on the verge of losing her own voting rights due to some fraud she was involved in? I will have to look that up and see how that ever happened.
Now one's voting should be based on intelligence, in which case, Republicans would not be able to vote. That latest poll showed Democrats were much smarter than Republicans, but then we all knew that anyways.
I can just hear Susan B. Anthony rolling in her grave.
It's interesting that Ms. Coulter is willing to disenfranchise just over half the US population in order to achieve her party's political goals.
Democrats or Republicans, we all should share a common set of beliefs around participatory democracy, democracy that our Founding Fathers fought and died for 200 years ago and that our brave men AND WOMEN in uniform put their lives on the line to defend every day.
Point of fact, Ms. Coulter - if we took away every woman's right to vote, it's not a Democratic American president that we'd loose, it would be our American Democracy, period.
According to BradBlog, Ann Coulter was registered to vote in Florida, although at an address that seemed to belong to her realtor, instead of being her own home there.
When she was on Hannity & Colmes, Colmes asked her about it and she said "I live in New York."
So if she really lived in New York, that seems an outright admission of voter fraud. Coulter’s Florida addresses – the registered address and the “real” address – seem to be a matter of public record.
As of August 2, 2007, the case is still alive, according to Crooks & Liars.
Yes, apparently, this is one case where she puts her money where her mouth is - Ann Coulter fraudulently registered to vote in Florida.
But note - what was fraudulent was not the choice of residence, but the address she put on her voter registration card - her real estate broker's!
If anti-American Coulter craves to live in a repressive, theocratic society with big-brother government and religion in schools, where women have no rights, then she should move to Iran. That's her fanstasy -- I say we give it to her. Pass the hat for her ticket, anyone?
Ann Coulter ... even her fantasies are boring.
Ann Coulter is a failure of a human being and a failure as a woman. Note her adams apple.
it's amazing that the ONLY way this woman can get attention, get money, get noticed is if she says something Outrageous ! I believe if everybody started just ignorning her, she would probably die of depression!
Fanny Coldsore indeed ...
maybe Ann really is a man.
Ann Coulter is such a hypocritical bitch! Does she realize that if her "voting fantasy" came true that since she claims that she's a woman she would not be able to vote. Although knowing how much of a hypocrite she is, she would inevitably say that "only liberal women shouldn't be able to vote, but conservative women can." Why when other people say things like this do they get penalized by the FCC, but she always gets away with it? It's simple a conservative run organization will only stop liberal's, but since half her views are anti-Bush/quasi-liberal, she should be stopped?!

Please; don't take away Ann Coulter's right to speech! She beats Will Rodgers (Quote:” I am not a member of any organized political party, I’m a Democrat!”) on the number of converted Republicans. What I would love to follow up on; her reason why she believes women are subhuman? Last time I checked I found women to be as balanced in forethought and reasoning as a man. If women are indeed as Ann would define them then we are the terrorists and Taliban has truth and justice.
We need Ann Counter to be a speaker at one of our conventions. She will mobilize our base to a level never seen before.
