Fred Thompson Embarrasses Conference Attendee's With Bad Answers

There may be a serious problem with lobbyist Fred Thompson's knowledge of the major issues. At the Teddy Forstmann's annual conference in Aspen, many members found him to be "embarrassing."

Thompson made the strange claim that the Islamic group Hezbollah is in Afghanistan (it's based and run out of Lebanon).

Asked whether he would carry over the people and policies of the Bush administration, the Tennessean offered a less than substantive reply: "I would keep the good things and let go of the bad things."

he does have presence, thanks to his acting efforts, he says some of the right things just like his mentor Reagan. And like Reagan he does not have the depth or intelligence to be president. I hope people can see that. he should go back to Law and order where he belongs.

Thompson is an ill-prepared actor for the national political stage. Reagan pulled it off because (a.) he had the appearance of a political career as a two-term governor, and (b.) had the professional political handler in Jim Baker to manage his many missteps. Thompson, a lawyer, lobbyist, and lazy senator, does not have the experience nor the staff support to bring this off.

Freddy Cheeseball is a second rate actor and corporate bag man. He doesn't have a clue.

I think we are being far too critical of Mr. Thompson. We must first understand that there are different curves used in evaluating the intellect of our political candidates in the United States. As far as Republicans go; Mr. Thompson is a genius!
If Fred Thompson becomes President; maybe we can bomb China for Russian attacks on our missile defense shield in Europe. You know; something really smart, like sparing no expense on researching ways to cut the budget!
