Description: "National Archives footage of [Woodrow] Wilson at Labor Convention in Buffalo; footage of Samuel Gompers, head of the American Federation of Labor."
No audio on this one, but it's worth watching.

Wonder what the date on that video is? Wilson was in 1913 to 21 I think. I enjoy the archive videos you post.
But for a commentary on our today's religion and politics, did anyone see Bill Moyers last night? Pretty scary stuff. Worth watching though...transcript and video here.
Lieberman compares Reverend Hagee to Moses and a leader of a mighty multitude.
At YouTube, the poster guesses that it's from 1918, but I have no idea beyond that.
1918 would be a good guess. Possibly with Gompers pledging that the unions would be behind the war effort.
Has anyone any idea as to the location?
Let me try this again;http://www.aflcio.org/aboutus/history/history/gompers.cfm
Doggone it. Yesterday I found out the lawsuit filed by a Tampa activist against the DNC over the primary....was dismissed quickly by the judge. BUT now we find that activist is going to appeal the case. This just makes me so angry. Florida needs to back off now, and act like a team player. We are not the only state that matters.
Tampa activist lawsuit against DNC to be appealed in Atlanta appeals court
And don't forget the suit filed last week by Bill Nelson and Alcee Hastings, just about the same as the other one.
But the icing on the cake is this one, yet to be filed. But, gee, I hope he goes for it.
IA, NH, NV, SC may get sued by Florida for "conspiracy to intimidate the presidential candidates"
If he files that suit, it would really show Florida in a bad light. Maybe they would then start being team players.
