Tom Tancredo and Ron Paul Likely Won't Support Republican Nominee

The debate last night revealed a Republican party unraveling at the seams.
Reps. Ron Paul (R-Texas) and Tom Tancredo (R-Colo.) made it clear Tuesday that they are not inclined to support the GOP nominee for president if that candidate is not in line with their views.
Asked about it during the debate of Republican presidential candidates in Michigan, Paul said right now he would not commit to support the party’s nominee.
"Not unless they’re willing to end the war and bring our troops home," Paul said, to which Sen. John McCain (Ariz.) answered "You don’t want me then, pal."
Paul also said he would not support a GOP candidate who is unwilling to curb spending in Washington.

Funny how all Republicans are now calling themselves Libertarians instead of conservatives. I hope Paul runs as an independent and comes in second to the Democrat candidate.
I'd love to see the Republican Party sidelined by its own base.
My daughter has registered as a Republican so that she can vote for Ron Paul in the Oregon Primary. She fell in love with him from listening to c-span. Any time he started talking she would charge into the room and say,"Who is that guy? I like him!"
He's one of the few Republicans with the right position on medical marijuana.
Paul isn't a Republican...he's a REAL Libertarian.
You get the feeling he's cruising the Republican primaries trying to drum up interest in his Party for the future. I wish him luck.
There are a lot of disillusioned people in the Republican Party right now. The true fiscal conservatives and civil liberties folks need somplace to go. They can become progressive Democrats or libertarians.
At least everyone know where Paul stands...and he doesn't flip flop about his views. He doesn't need to lie like the rest of the Republicans.
And he has more energy than all the rest of them combined. Half of their candidates look like they are dying and the rest of them are trying their best to further it along. What a bunch of vampires.
I'll be voting for Ron Paul in Florida's Primary because the Democratic Party doesn't value my primary vote. I encourage all Florida and Michigan voters to do the same. I'll still probably support the Democratic nominee, but I'm not giving anyone any money and this primary system must be fixed.
I agree - he is starting to make sense...I looked up his voting record and tried very hard to scrounge up some dirt on this guy. Nothing. Sure seems alot more genuine than any other candidate, Rep or Dem. I'm in Missouri, an open state, so can vote any ticket without changing my registration. I'm gonna see how this guy fares. I was so distraught to find that Hillary voted YES for more money for the war...
