Kicking Ass: The Democratic Party's Blog

The Truth Comes Out!

It's the understatement of the day, coming from Fred Thompson's wife, about how little Fred Thompson wanted to run: "It wasn't something that he had a burning desire for."

Shock.

A very bad joke ... I wonder why he ever got in it? It's clear he's way too lazy to campaign hard.

Fred has made it quite obvious he doesn't have the desire or ambition to win. On http://www.fittobepres.com passion is definitely not one of his strengths. Anyone can go on the site and rate each candidate on 10 attributes, and there seems to be a consensus that Fred does not have the passion.

I guess NBC will now have to kill off Sam Waterston's character?

Then Fred can go back to his first passion in life...making easy money and not having to do more than show up and act like a Republican politician one scene each week.

It's really the dream Republican life.

And it's funny how they always talk about entitlements when that's how the rich Republicans live their lives in America. They think they are entitled to have it all without doing anything.

How will we know when Thompson quits the race, not show up at an unscheduled campaign stop? Who's paying for his travel and where is he anyway? Probably the worse campaign ever run by the dithering right wing! Next they'll start hoping independents start voting for Romney, the second worse right wing campaigner.

Since Fred and Mac are carbon copies of Bush on vertially every subject why don't they have George out campaigning for them. Its kind of ironic that the GOP keeps spouting the same old tune while keeping their main siprano out of the choir.
