McCain: War will be "Over Soon"

Mission accomplished!

It's about a minute into the audio we've posted here, and you can hear John McCain declare that the war will be "over soon."

He was speaking at a town hall meeting in Rocky River, OH when he made this announcement and held out hope that Americans will be able to withdraw.

The backtracking on his 100 year comment continues.

You mean this phoney Term, War on Terror will soon be a Victory??? When do you think they will rope Bin Laden in??? And finish off al Qaeda in Iraq, Afghanistan, Iran, Syria, Saudi arabia, etc?

The "war" was over within a week. It's the occupation that is slowly killing us. McCain wants us to still around for 100 years to make sure it does?
