good morning, greg
it's the DLC beast, not the good senator from the great state of new york.
The reaction of some of Mr. Clinton’s allies suggests that might have been a wise decision. “An act of betrayal,” said James Carville, an adviser to Mrs. Clinton and a friend of Mr. Clinton.
“Mr. Richardson’s endorsement came right around the anniversary of the day when Judas sold out for 30 pieces of silver, so I think the timing is appropriate, if ironic,” Mr. Carville said, referring to Holy Week.
Ooooh, snap!
Frankly, Jimmy, you're a fine one to talk about betrayal, considering that you've been one of the voices leading the rearguard action against Howard Dean's efforts to undo the a) shoving of the party ever further towards Republicanism and b) concentration of power in the hands of a few well-paid DC-based elite consultants like, oh, say, James Carville:
Flush with victory after the election, Rahm’s allies, led by Carville, try to mount a coup at the DNC by publicly attacking Dean and suggesting he be replaced by Harold Ford, a Tennessee moderate who just lost a Senate race. “You can’t go into 2008 having a party chairman that is completely disconnected from the congressional leadership and the campaign committees,” Carville tells me, further pounding the wedge that divides the Deaniacs and the Clintonites. When I ask if Rahm agrees, Carville says, “It’s not any secret that Rahm has expressed disdain for Dean and not very secret that Rahm and I are close. It doesn’t take a lot of dot-connecting here.”
What about the Clintons, who, given Hillary’s presidential ambitions, have more cause for concern about who runs the DNC in 2008? “Let’s just say nobody has called me telling me this is a bad idea. Sometimes silence is eloquence.” Not only did Carville’s coup fail but it arguably strengthened Dean, who, speaking before his state-party allies, mocked the attempt as a desperate attack from the “old Democratic Party.” Cutting his losses, Rahm quickly leaked word to the press that he and Dean had negotiated a truce.

A Simple Question for Democrats
Why is it that Sen. Hillary Clinton's voters would unequivocally throw their collective support to Sen. Barack Obama were he to become the Democratic nominee for president, but his supporters would not support her if the outcome is reversed? This is not only a supposition of mine, but one acknowledged by many analysts and journalists including Newsweek Editor Jon Meacham and political pundit Peggy Noonan speaking on Sunday's Meet the Press.
With all the heated talk back and forth about uniting/dividng the party, what we need is for all Democrats to come together in November behind whoever is our nominee.

Carville makes me sick these days when I see him on ranting over Obama not kicking in money to run Primaries over in MI and FL. I would LOVE to see those re-done, because I think Obama would kick her ass this time, as people have watched guys like Carville muddy up her waters.
Hillary needs to do some house cleaning, and that means starting with guys like Carville.

Articles like this one make me smile ear to ear!!!
"The Democratic Party has increased its margin in voters who identify with it rather than Republicans, and going into this year’s election has increased its advantage among independent voters and in swing states, according to a Pew Research Center survey conducted during the first two months of this year.
Pew says voters now favor the Democrats by a “decidedly larger margin” than the previous two election cycles.
Voters who identify themselves as Independents actually occupy first place at 37 percent, followed by Democrats at 36 percent and Republicans at 27 percent. That’s a 3 point gain for Democrats since 2004 and a 6 point drop for Republicans, putting them at their lowest ebb in 16 years.

Sounds like the Democratic Losership committee is still trying to turn this election into a resounding defeat.
It they are allowed to keep it up, you will get a lot of disgruntled voters either going third party, or just giving up and staying home. Either way it will help the Republicans.
Rahm Emmanuel needs to admit that he is a Republican in disguise, and go join his buddy LIEbermann, the turncoat. We would do much better without him.

Story behind the story: The Clinton myth
One big fact has largely been lost in the recent coverage of the Democratic presidential race: Hillary Rodham Clinton has virtually no chance of winning.
Her own campaign acknowledges there is no way that she will finish ahead in pledged delegates. That means the only way she wins is if Democratic superdelegates are ready to risk a backlash of historic proportions from the party’s most reliable constituency...
...There are 566 pledged delegates up for grabs in upcoming contests. Those delegates come from Pennsylvania (158), Guam (4) North Carolina (115), Indiana (72), West Virginia (28), Kentucky (51), Oregon (52), Puerto Rico (55), Montana (16) and South Dakota (15).
If Clinton won 60 percent of those delegates, she would get 340 delegates to Obama's 226. Under that scenario — and without revotes in Michigan and Florida — Obama would still lead in delegates by 1,632 to 1,589.
The only remote possibility of a win in delegates would come if revotes were held in Florida and Michigan — which, again, would take a political miracle. If Clinton won 60 percent of the delegates in both states, she would win 188 delegates and Obama would win 125. Clinton would then lead among pledged delegates, 1,777 to 1,757...
...The other elephant in the room for Clinton is that Obama is almost certain to win North Carolina, with its high percentage of African-American voters, and also is seen as extremely strong in Oregon....
...This is true, as a matter of math. But even the Clinton campaign’s own best-case scenario has her finishing behind Obama when all the nominating contests are over.
“She will be close to him but certainly not equal to him in pledged delegates,” a Clinton adviser said. “When you add the superdelegates on top of it, I’ll think she’ll still be behind him somewhat in total delegates — but very, very close.”
The total gap is likely to be 75 to 110, the adviser said.
That means Clinton would need either some of those pledged delegates to switch their support — which technically they can do, though it would be unlikely — or for the white-dominated group of superdelegates to join forces with her to topple Obama.

I’ve always loved Jane Fonda as an academy award-winning artist, and for her exercise videos. Since I protested the War in Viet Nam in college, I appreciated Jane Fonda’s visit to Viet Nam, lending her status as a celebrity to the anti-war movement. All these years later I’m surprised when I see protests against Jane Fonda with signs that read “Hanoi Jane”, and see their photo of Jane Fonda sitting on a North Vietnamese anti-aircraft gun. I’ve never had these negative feelings toward Jane Fonda myself. However, I know many Reagan Democrats that hate Jane Fonda because of what she symbolizes to them....anti-American. In a similar way, FoxNews, especially Sean Hannity, is pounding away at what they view as anti-American comments by Senator Obama’s pastor. To make matters worse (from the perspective of those Reagan Democrats), when confronted with the pastor’s remarks Senator Obama threw up a smoke screen of issues, instead of addressing the questions about patriotism and national defense. As a Democrat, Obama’s preacher and Jane Fonda are non-issues to me. But to those Reagan Democrats and the Republican base, these remain red-meat issues that FoxNews and conservative talk radio will use to drive their voter turn out in November.

Repost from last night's thread
Mike says it real well!
So? ... A Note from Michael Moore
Monday, March 24th, 2008
Friends,
It would have to happen on Easter Sunday, wouldn't it, that the 4,000th American soldier would die in Iraq. Play me that crazy preacher again, will you, about how maybe God, in all his infinite wisdom, may not exactly be blessing America these days. Is anyone surprised?
4,000 dead. Unofficial estimates are that there may be up to 100,000 wounded, injured, or mentally ruined by this war. And there could be up to a million Iraqi dead. We will pay the consequences of this for a long, long time. God will keep blessing America.
And where is Darth Vader in all this? A reporter from ABC News this week told Dick Cheney, in regards to Iraq, "two-thirds of Americans say it's not worth fighting." Cheney cut her off with a one word answer: "So?"
"So?" As in, "So what?" As in, "F*** you. I could care less."
I would like every American to see Cheney flip the virtual bird at the them, the American people. Click here and pass it around. Then ask yourself why we haven't risen up and thrown him and his puppet out of the White House.
The Democrats have had the power to literally pull the plug on this war for the past 15 months -- and they have refused to do so. What are we to do about that? Continue to sink into our despair? Or get creative? Real creative. I know there are many of you reading this who have the chutzpah and ingenuity to confront your local congressperson. Will you? For me?
Cheney spent Wednesday, the 5th anniversary of the war, not mourning the dead he killed, but fishing off the Sultan of Oman's royal yacht. So? Ask your favorite Republican what they think of that.
The Founding Fathers would never have uttered the presumptuous words, "God Bless America." That, to them, sounded like a command instead of a request, and one doesn't command God, even if they are America. In fact, they were worried God would punish America. During the Revolutionary War, George Washington feared that God would react unfavorably against his soldiers for the way they were behaving. John Adams wondered if God might punish America and cause it to lose the war, just to prove His point that America was not worthy. They and the others believed it would be arrogant on their part to assume that God would single out America for a blessing. What a long road we have traveled since then.
I see that Frontline on PBS this week has a documentary called "Bush's War." That's what I've been calling it for a long time. It's not the "Iraq War." Iraq did nothing. Iraq didn't plan 9/11. It didn't have weapons of mass destruction. It DID have movie theaters and bars and women wearing what they wanted and a significant Christian population and one of the few Arab capitals with an open synagogue.
But that's all gone now. Show a movie and you'll be shot in the head. Over a hundred women have been randomly executed for not wearing a scarf. I'm happy, as a blessed American, that I had a hand in all this. I just paid my taxes, so that means I helped to pay for this freedom we've brought to Baghdad. So? Will God bless me?
God bless all of you in this Easter Week as we begin the 6th year of Bush's War.
God help America. Please.

Bosnian sniper fearlessly kisses Hillay in 1996
THe story
Hillary Clinton has been regaling supporters on the campaign trail with hair-raising tales of a trip she made to Bosnia in March 1996. In her retelling, she was sent to places that her husband, President Clinton, could not go because they were "too dangerous." When her account was challenged by one of her traveling companions, the comedian Sinbad, she upped the ante and injected even more drama into the story. In a speech earlier this week, she talked about "landing under sniper fire" and running for safety with "our heads down."
WHat really Happened
Far from running to an airport building with their heads down, Clinton and her party were greeted on the tarmac by smiling U.S. and Bosnian officials. An eight-year-old Moslem girl, Emina Bicakcic, read a poem in English. An Associated Press photograph of the greeting ceremony, above, shows a smiling Clinton bending down to receive a kiss.
"There is peace now," Emina told Clinton, according to Pomfret's report in the Washington Post the following day, "because Mr. Clinton signed it. All this peace. I love it."

Every GI who has been cussed at, spit on, and disrespected during the VietNam war, has the image of Hanoi Jane sitting on that anti-aircraft gun, calling us "baby killers" (even us WACS) and targeting us for doing what we believed was right.
The communists didn't have clean hands, they committed many horrible atrocities, that the so-called "peace" movement never mentioned. But the guys who'd been there saw them. The commies had a habit of recruiting help by holding family members hostage until the individual who was recruited did whatever they wanted.
Jane was no more for "peace" than Halliburton is today, she was just going for the money and she spit on us to do it.
Look at her career, she has always gone for the bucks.

Dearest Democrats,
Why does Cheney’s ambivalent answer to the War last week, “So?” …hurt so much?
1) 4,000 American Solders dead (DoD reported -8 Pending Confirmation)
2) Estimated 39,467 Iraqi Security Forces and Civilian Deaths
3) U.S. Wounded and Medical Evacuations DoD (3-1-08) 132,199 American Solders.
4) U.S. Death: Self-Inflicted reported by DoD (3-1-08) 145 Americans.
5) Total Number of Severely Wounded and Cannot Go Back To Battle: 29314 Americans
http://icasualties.org/oif/
...and the White House does not include the care for the wounded in their War Budget!!!
Including the long term healthcare for those wounded so badly, they cannot return to military duties, and will require care for the rest of their lives the budget estimate from the Harvard University is over $3 Trillion, $3,000,000,000,000.00+. White House budget only forecast out to 10 years and do not include long term healthcare for veterans in the war budget!!
Dearest God,
...what can we, as Americans, do to make amends for the lives of these young men and women who suffered so much....?

Sweetheart deals let schools cash in at students’ expenseAmericans have learned to be wary of offers of "free" credit cards arriving in the mail, no-cost vacations touted by travel agencies, and fortunes promised by Nigerian e-mailers if you only front them a little cash.
One exception to those come-ons, thankfully, has been your alma mater. Trusting your college is one reason you agree to donate money, slap a sticker on the back windshield and wear college colors during March Madness.
Now, however, scores of colleges are putting that confidence in jeopardy, all to garner a little extra money for their coffers.
The latest questionable practice, as USA TODAY's Kathy Chu reported earlier this week, involves at least 127 colleges that have teamed with banks to make student ID cards double as debit cards.
This arrangement works out quite nicely for the colleges, which generate revenue from the banks as high as $1 million a year. It works nicely for the banks, which get exclusive access to future clients, ones with a tendency to run up fat overdraft fees. But it's not such a great deal for the students who pay those stiff fees (about $3 for every $1 overdrawn) and are steered away from less costly banking options.
Students should, of course, learn to use their cards responsibly, just as they should learn not to bounce checks. But colleges could do a far better job of teaching personal finance, disclosing the terms of exclusive deals with banks and making students aware of possible lower-cost alternatives.
The ID/debit card deals, which are being examined by New York Attorney GeneralAndrew Cuomo, are just the latest examples of college financial practices that might not be in the best interests of students or alumni. Among the others:
It is like Bama Cash and other requirements, where at the University of Alabama students are required to put funds in that get no interest and if not used by a certain time they are confiscated by the University of Alabama "At Will."
Vendors are selected to be privilege members of Bama Cash Family, which the vendors pay handsomely for, kicking back money for the school.
The school selects a vendor to run all its campus fast food restaurants, there seems to be a no-bid attitude, like the University is a Republican breeding ground.
They are required to pay in addition for a meal vouchers as part of the admissions package. First year student must pay for the mandatory dormitory fees. (Not sure but frat students may be exempt.) All this for legal adults except for drinking, which the Frats do anyway.
Also there state university property are used is to build a state supported a high class mall, where a grocery store and others inflate their prices and profits at the expense of the students.
Here adults are again treated as minors until graduating as adults. Even Iraqi War Veterans have some of these requirements while using the GI Bill being transformed back to adult minors.
All this has driven the cost away from "We the people" of middle and lower economic class levels education. The university while not excluding them. Except from the Fraternities, which are socially wealthy segregated upon state land, has discouraged the integration of economic diversity of equality. It is much like a private school state supported for the well off upper crust society.
You see it is the breeding ground that last election where Fraternities demanded their pledges vote for George W Bush. They had to put on their Bush shirts and told to go vote Republican. I know I was at the poll, when they came in mass. I was a poll watcher. I thought non-profit agencies had to stay neutral, especially on government properties. I forgot that was for Democrats only IRS. You see they are programmed with Republican Bohemian immunity.
Just where are these millions in surplus funds going to? They could be used to build classrooms and improve education, or make it more affordable to those improvised, but I forgot colleges have economic classes. And that the University can confiscate money from students if not used in that year. How much money in fringe additions does it cost Middle Class to get educated, for some that difference is a future of success or failure.
For some to use Free Speech and bring these facts out, requires a person in Alabama, to be banned for life.

The thing that is so frustrating to me is that Afghanistan was where the real work needed to be done. Yes, the Taliban were bad and they housed Bin Laden. we could have actually helped them rebuild and move away from the extremist government. But, instead, we go in there, topple their government and leave. And, just like at the end of Charlie Wilson's War, we've missed an opportunity to do some real good. We've left Afghanistan wide open for a resurgence (which is already happening). We've let Bin Laden get away and we're letting Pakistan get away. Iraq is a distraction and we all know that it was based on false assertions.

That blatantly unpatriotic media diva who is always advocating the overthrow of the government (gee white guys do it, too?), Lou Dobbs, has been trying to convince Republicans to call themselves Indepenents for some time now.
Republicans have such a bad reputation for corruption, incompetence, wasting money, and war-mongering these days that they have taken to going undercover (some of them in public restroom stalls) to spew they bigotted rheteric these days.
Anyone who want to face the future without all the Republican baggage is happily voting Democratic and is proud of it.

In light of the governor's and the state senate's actions, I guess the sentence isn't clear enough.
I propose we amend it to read, "The New Hampshire Democratic party shall only monetarily support and endorse candidates for representative, senate, executive council and governor who agree that the State must meet its Constitutional requirements to adequately fund our schools considering all sources of revenue."

Rasmusen has ALWAYS leaned Pug in their polling, it's something in their methodology. All the other polls taken around the same time show vastly different numbers, and all are within the MoE. Meaning that they are basically tied.

Good afternoon Good Dems
After listening to Dana Perino (White House Briefing) this morning on C-SPAN it is clear that we are going to hear over and over how the president listened to the commanders on the ground, and will continue to listen to the commanders, therefore diverting responsiblity to the military commanders.
I have tried to find a site that lists how many commanders have retired, stepped down, been fired, etc etc since 2001, after speaking out against the policys. I can't find one.
Does anyone have one? thanks

In another deadly attack, at least seven shoppers in a Baghdad market were killed when gunmen travelling in three cars opened fire.At least 16 people were wounded when the drive-by shooting happened in the southern Zaafariniya area of the city, police said. The gunmen fled the scene.
It’s a very disturbing report on the mounting violence in Iraq to say the least. An Iraqi asks how could gunmen can enter an area so full of check points? Kinda seems like some money bought alliances are failing. I’m sure John McCain can tell us. Well maybe not him, but Lindsey Graham and Joe Lieberman can at least try to inform him. 4000 troops gone and over 30, ooo wounded
We should be hitting with this. This guy is 71 years old for pete's sake. Mosr people have to retire when they hit - what 66? Let's make sure he is put into retirement along with other people his age....
Richardson was right this morning, we need get on with attaching McGeez and not each other.

I may be just behaving judgmentally but I saw the kids attending the White House Easter Egg (roll) event and I'm wondering....what kind of parent takes their kids to participate in that event when this President has done more than any other President in history to destroy those kids' futures on so many levels. Wouldn't it send a glaring message to this President to have NO ONE show up for those (photo op) events? It's no wonder this guy somewhat lives in a bubble when it comes to being in touch with the People. He probably saw that crowd and thought "See, I'm not as unpopular as people say. They LIKE me...they really really like me!"

You didn't get the message? You should be calling yourself an Independent...and you forgot to call Richardson a Judas.
Please take your concern to the Lou Dobbs blog. He's got a place for you set at the table.

BAGHDAD (AFP) — The death toll of US soldiers in the five-year Iraq conflict has hit 4,000 in what the US military said Monday was a "tragic" loss of lives after four troops were killed in a Baghdad bombing.
The four soldiers died when their vehicle was hit by a roadside bomb while on patrol late Sunday in southern Baghdad, bringing the overall toll to 4,000, according to an AFP tally based on independent website.
Another soldier was wounded in the attack, a military statement said.
The chaotic and brutal conflict which is now in its sixth year has also wounded more than 29,000 American soldiers, according to icasualties.org.
At least 97 percent of the deaths occurred after US President George W. Bush announced the end of "major combat" in Iraq on May 1, 2003, as the military became caught between a raging anti-American insurgency and brutal sectarian strife unleashed since the toppling of Saddam.
I just get so angry when I read this. Where is the MSM? They should be reporting this with the listed dead every night. It's no wonder the American people don't feel like we're in a war. They hear about it once a week and then they return to their normal lives... war? what war?

How about a sign in our yards that reads:
100 YEARS?
or
4000 and COUNTING?
At this point, both the Clinton and Obama campaigns should begin to print these like the Federal Reserve has been printing money and then making it known that they are available.
If "patriotism" is the card the Republicans want to play then We have no choice but to make our argument as best WE can and run with it. Otherwise...

"Don't pay attention to that man behind the curtain!.....)
Andrea Mitchell was just interviewing Gov Ed Rendell on CNN. She was pointing out how Clinton had fallen in polls since Obama's Race Speech (and she still trails in the other metrics as well). Gov Rendell was stressing that was really matters is wo can win in the big states that historically a candidate must carry to win in Nov. He said Super D's were looking to that only nad not who won most states, or delegates. Andrea Mitchell said but Gov, now you're only talking about the Electoral College as being THE important influence when before, Clinton looked to other metrics like popular vote, but now that they can't get FL to re-vote they've lost that. Rendell said all the Super Delegates care about is winning in Nov, that's what they're looking at, and in the states that matter Clinton beats McCain over Obama. Sounds like he's hinting at some knowledge that perhaps the Super D's in some of those "only they matter" states (like his state of PA) may be quietly pledging to Clinton.

ugh - we were in a vital lockdown here at work - a company next door had a chemical spill and it got pretty scary! I'll never understand why they don't place companies who deal with chemicals, in areas not surrounded by other companies or housing. There are houses just 1/2 block away on the other side!
Oh wait - I forgot - this is Indiana, that's how they do it here in this state.

This whole thing needs to end NOW. Why is Hillary still in this race? SHE CAN NOT WIN, ALL SHE CAN DO IS HELP MCCOOK. If she really loves her country as much as Bill says she does, she should realise all she is doing is helping to get another Republican in the Whitehouse.

Oh now MSNBC is covering Hillary's exaggerating of her credentials and reports that she now is saying she "mis-spoke" when she talked about her trip to the Middle East where she claimed she landed under sniper fire. They have video apparently that shows a different account of her word for word story and even Andrea Mitchell commented that she herself was ON that flight and it did not go as Mrs. Clinton claimed.

I agree completely. If the situation was reversed and Obama had lost 14 out of the last 17 contests, the Clinton camp would be screaming for Obama to quit.
Posted by Cubilist on March 24, 2008 at 01:54 PM
I wonder if anyone in the Obama advisors camp have started telling Obama to simply stop comparing hiself against her, stop competing with her and replying to their every nit-picky whine (like the Wright affair) and tell him to just start taking on McCain when he makes public appearances? If he would stop giving her so much credit via his attention and start taking on the REAL competition (McCain), she might start becoming less prominent and significant in the public's eye. Besides, they're BOTH wasting time with all this in-fighting while McCain gets to campaign for Nov votes!

Am I imagining things or is there a pattern here... HRC makes a case for her experience, then gets called on it and has to back down with some lame excuse - I misspoke or I misjudged the information/situation before me - all the while "scorching the earth" for Obama.
And given her "stellar performance" at Walmart and cozy relationship with Tyson Foods what falls out of her closet between now and November will make the missteps up to this point look like a walk down the yellow brick road!
How much do you love your country Hillary? Now she's got me asking the GD question!

How would it be construed as anything other than showing the folly of this occupation? (900 dead Soldiers since the splurge started.)
Picture this, a billboard with Chimpy on one side saying "Stay the course", and Mc Cain on the other saying ""for 100 years" and in the middle a series of electric counters showing the deaths, number of wounded, and the cost in real dollars?
Times Square? The Beltway? Golden Gate Bridge?
CRAPFEST TX??
Gotta go.

A white Catholic priest who sounds like a black Baptist.
I did a Google search on him, interesting guy.
Father Pfleger is apparently an activist priest in the mold of the Fathers Berrigan.
He's stepped on a lot of toes, mainly Republicans and conservative Catholics. He's done a lot of good for the poor black community that his parish is in, but like a lot of activists, has managed to insert his foot in his mouth a few times, much to the delight of the press and his detractors, who are only too willing to rant about it in the media.

How is Marzbar's sign proposal disrespectful to the troops? I don't see any implication of disrespect toward soldiers. They have sacrificed and even died for their country, we all appriciate their service. We cannot be bullied into discontinuing a conversation on Iraq based on the catchphrase of "support". The way support has been framed is based on the idea that if you don't support the war then you don't support the troops and that is patently false.
I think we can talk about the realities of McCain and the GOP's continued failures in Iraq and Afghanistan. Those realities are "4000 deaths and counting" and a presidential candidate that is willing to sacrifice our countries wealth and children for the next 100 years. By not mentioning death, mission, and the potential policies of McCain we are just shielding ourselves from the realities of war and that will do nothing to help end it.
The best way to support our troops is have an honest discussion on the causes and conduct of war. The sacrifice of our soldiers will be best served when america learns from it's mistakes in its action to war.

Just an interesting bit of information...I am a Hillary supporter. I know it doesn't look good for her, but I still support her anyway! This weekend I was talking to my father, who is a republican and has voted that way his whole life, he was saying that of the two Democratic candidates he would be more comfortable with Clinton. I know that he is not very happy about the republican nominee because he thinks he is too old amoung other things. I curiously asked if he would consider crossing over in the GE. He said that he probably wouldn't. I was very surprised that he would even think of it! Probably gives me a hint that he has actually thought about it...I can't wait to see what is going to happen in the fall!

Now they are talking about old wounds that were opened up with regards to race. Well guess what, I went to my church yesterday and I never heard what I heard from the Trinty Church. If that is what you preach, then what do you expect people to say? What an unintelegent statement that Senator Obama made that we all hear things like this that we don't like from our church's. Senator Obama should just stop the denial about his presence there and then move on. He keeps digging the hole deeper and deeper for him to fall into.

Sometimes old wounds need to be opened to be drained. Otherwise they just keep festering until they make the whole body sick.

I agree too that this is getting way out of hand between Hillary and Obama. If it continues, they are both going to drag this party down.
Each should either go against and start the fight with McCain or one of them needs to drop off for the good of the party!
Either that or someone on the blog needs to start a letter to one of the candidates and have everyone sign their name saying - please stop this fighting - for the good of the party - give it up!

Your right they do fester but when old wounds are tried to heal only to have someone like Rev. Wright to open them again and not only to the old folks who remember those days but to infect the young folks too then the wounds will never heal.
