That was actually the backdrop as John McCain gave his speech on the housing crisis.
And as Think Progress notes, "the firms of Charlie Black, Richard Hohlt, and Juleanna Glover Weiss have made over $2 million in contracts from JP Morgan, and Black and Hohlt’s firms have received $1.9 million from Washington Mutual, the in-house lobbyist for Citigroup."

My friends, let’s start with some straight talk:
You've got that right.
Whenever you hear this mantra, remember that McCain is about to sell you a lemon. We don't need anymore used car salesmen in the White House.
Two terms of lies, lobbyists, neglect, and war are enough. The last thing we need is more of the same from McCain.
If McCain can't provide a sane economic or foreign policy, the GOP should at least push for Thompson in the White House so he can "act" like he loves this country and cares about working people.

AC 360 is having a segment on Senator Obama today titled "is Obama too Liberal" to get elected President. Isn't the timing interesting!
Now the transition happens. CNN thinks it has damaged Senator Clinton enough that her chances of getting the nomination are quite small. Now they will focus on attacking Senator Obama so that a Republican gets into the WH.
Let us not forget these Anchors are no less rich than the "Wall Street Boys". Think about the windfall they have received with the Bush Tax cuts. If anyone thinks these guys prepared to lose that any time soon, they must be dilusional.

Establishment Democrats should stop short-circuiting the will of the people. Is the Obama campaign worried about losing PA with a bigger margin than OH. Why are they pushing their Democratic establishment surrogates to divide the party and issue edicts for Senator Clinton to drop out of the race. After ensuring voters FL and MI are disenfranchised, the Obama campaign it looks like does not want to see what the choice of the voters of the remaining states are. Let us do the math; if the Democratic Party had winner take all calculus like it will be in the general, Senator Clinton would have clinched the nomination long back.
On one hand the Obama campaign is complaining about the Super delegates going against the will of the people. On the hand they are pushing the Super Delagates to issue edicts and shifting the goal post, throwing the kitchen sink. Once again speaking from both sides of their mouth.

First of All, if the Campaign was set up for "winner take all" the Obama camp would have played a different game. They are playing the current game by the current rules.
Secondly, it is Clinton that speaks from both sides of her mouth. She says the voters of MI and FL should count and be heard, then she tells the super delegates they can vote using any criteria they wish and she tells the media, the regular delegates from the states, you don't have to vote the way your constituates voted.
