Pat Buchanan Blogs?

Well, not quite.
All of his posts are posted by somebody else. The problem? Well, if the design of the blog is any clue, he's blogging by typewriter.
Somebody should tell him it doesn't work that way.

Is it in any way significant that this supposed "analyst" has gone off the deep end and come out flagrantly on the attack?

He's scared shitless and is attacking anything that moves on the Democratic side.

A MESSAGE TO ALL T.V. PUNDITS
Chris Matthews, I stood and applauded on Monday morning when you took Mika and all TV journalists to task for focusing on the minutia of American politics, treating it as though it was a sitcom. You spoke for millions of us who are fed up with “who’s up and who’s down” all based on superficial issues of “who said this” and who replied with that” media coverage.
Is that what the 2008 election has become -- at least for the political pundits of the world?
Not for millions of Americans who are facing serious issues.
For the day I thought you had raised the bar for all T.V. political pundits. Yet, by evening you slipped back into the old refrain, analyzing the smallest of barbs cast from one campaign staff member directed at another. You had re-entered the muck of American politics that has nothing to do with the average person.
Either you experienced a spasm of enlightenment in the morning only to come to your senses by late afternoon---or somebody got to you at MSNBC, reminding you that ratings were about controversy. “Stop being so high minded Chris…” higher-ups likely scolded you.
Well, the American people are sick of the pundits telling us how we ought to think. And we are tired of you debasing our political process by focusing on the irrelevant (Obama Girls, "Carvell said this…" etc.) stories. Clean up your act or I’ll turn off the T.V. and pick up a newspaper.
And please tell Pat Buchanan that it's clear to all of us what he's up to -- he's scared as hell of an Obama vs McCain race and he's doing everything in his power to take Obama down.
