Poll: 3 in 4 Say U.S. in Recession

A recent USA Today/Gallup poll found that three in four Americans believe the economy has tipped into a recession.
As the Federal Reserve expanded credit to securities dealers and President Bush said his administration had taken "strong and decisive action," the poll revealed pessimism about the economy's direction.
Seventy-six percent of those polled said the economy is in recession, compared with 22% who said it's not. Not since September 1992, two months before President George H.W. Bush lost re-election, have so many said the economy was in such bad shape.
Last week, President Bush warned a room full of economists in New York that "overcorrection" could lead the U.S. economy "into a ditch" while the Fed took the "rare path" and bailed out Bear Stearns.

You know,who cares. The bottomline is that she is ready and she has built a foundation to be ready on Day 1. For sure, she is more ready than Obama. She has plans. She's been tehre and done that.

As far as I'm concerned, everything Obama opens his mouth to talk about foreigh policy, he always messes up. Why? He's not ready.

Even if Hillary Rodham Clinton and her aides do not mention Barack Obama's fiery-tongued spiritual mentor, don't expect the Illinois senator's well-publicized speech Tuesday to make the controversy disappear, political strategists said this week.
You know, Obama can no longer win in teh general election. HIs pastor has done much damage to his reputation. It's not going to go away. He's a lost cause.
All the dogs ahve to do is to repeat over and over what his pastor said, and his ratings among the white men, will be 10%

The economy is already in the ditch. On my way to work, I saw gas prices at the gas station in my state about $3.15 to $3.35 a gallon and I bet prices will go up in summer. Bush couldn't lead his way out of a wet paper bag because when someone asked him if the economy is bad. Bush said with a straight face that he wasn't even paying attention. I suppose Bush should just do nothing instead of maybe doing his job and taking care of this. I can't wait for a Democratic President to take over the White House because McCain is essentially a another copy of George W. Bush who doesn't know anything about the economy and admitted that he knows nothing about the economy. Granted Democrats aren't completely without flaws. But given the Republicans track record and what happened under Bush. I honestly can't help but support the Democrats because at least they know what they doing and listen to "We the People".
