Speaker Pelosi Addresses Iraq

Somehow I missed this the other day, so here it is. Recognizing five years of a war in Iraq, Pelosi warns against Bush's plan for a $3 trillion dollar war in Iraq.

Bill Richardson is looking good with that beard! I liked him from the start! yes, he definately gets a cabinet spot! what a horrible week in the news of this race. I wish queen hillary would just let it go. it's over for her. the superdelegates are not going to burn the party alive for her. Obama says one wrong word- "TYPICAL" and it's all over the news. he is being forced to make race an issue. CONSTANTLY FORCED AT EVERY ANGLE. unfortunatley, he is correct. he should have used a different word but the man is allowed a tiny slip up. I spoke with my dear Aunt who raised me through my teenage years last night. she took me in when my mother could not deal with me. she loved me through it all and still loves me. she has love in her heart for all people just like Christ did. the woman is a saint. she is actually a retired Pentecostal minister and a life time Dem. she has always liked the queen and still does I guess. she is 82 years old and she has a heart of gold. she would do anything for anyone. but honestly, the thought of a black President is freaking her out. I think we all have some issues we can look at regarding race. I think I'm a pretty open minded liberal person. however, I have reason to do some soul searching in this area myself. I think we all do. we can pretend we don't judge but we all do to a point. Did you hear about big mouth Oreilly talking about some of the comments that were on the blog at Huffpost? I think he compared Arianna to a Nazi sympathizer or something. ridiculous- just over the top bullshit as usual. the thing is- they edit EVERYTHING over there at Huffpost. I mean...it's her blog and I have allot of respect for Arianna but she really doesn't allow much. I quit posting there months ago because nothing I say gets posted. Oreilly could find allot more right here on the DNC blog where the freedom of speech is just overflowing. it makes me proud of the Democratic party that there is such freedom here although some of the comments I read here make me scream! I have gotten better at ignoring the trolls but if you edit them, you will next be editing me too. Oreilly is a joke. him and his loufah sponge...what a disgusting pig. what else could he possibly do if it wasn't for Fox news>?? he is an absurd grotesque disgusting picture of hateful dysfunction. I am going to comb throuhg a DSM to see if I canm find a word to describe his assanine behavior. seriously, he should just hang out here if he wants to hear how free people express themselves.

As a Chief Warrant Officer I count myself as one of the 90%who feels that our military is stretched to the breaking point.
Our soldiers are more than stretched to the limit. They have done everything that was asked of them and the Bushiato kicks them to the wall when they are no longer able to serve. We will soon have another generation of homeless veterans, if the services are not provided for them, not just as discharged veterans, but also before they are discharged, instead of being kicked out with less than honorable discharges.
We need to stand up and not only demand an end to the "war" but demand, too, that those who have given so much are respected and cared for.
