I don't want to jump the gun, with the anniversary of "Mission Accomplished" tomorrow, but let's not forget it wasn't just about a banner.
He also declared in his speech that "Major combat operations in Iraq have ended."

the only "mission accomplished" has been the loss and disabled of our own, putting us in debt while stuffing the coffers of his no-bid donors, and a tarnished goodwill in the arab world. and from this taxpayer's point of view, w can place his "mission accomplished" slogan along with his "coalition of the (un)willing" slogan where the sun doesn't shine. and osama is ... great job w. in the eyes of many, w and his shotgun vp deserve a place in history, on trial for war crimes. that would garnish a "mission accomplished" and probably gain a "coalition of the willing" too.

America1st pretty much said it. Except that the Republicans and their Big Bushiness masters have not figured out that their short-sighted interests have destroyed our country's economy, reputation, and much of our younger generation.
Now McCain is showing his true colors as one of the corrupt and greedy, turned his back on his fellow GIs, and is vowing to continue the "war" and the destruction of our country for his Big Business masters.
