Now THAT is an ad I can support. It's about time, DNC. I will send this out and get people to donate and subscribe to the You Tube Channel. Its time to get it started !!! Whoot Whooot!
Democrats 2008 !
Hey D!
W00t!
I saw the ad play on George Stuffinenvelopes (thank you, Rev.)
Nice work, DNC. Let's hammer home the point that the Iraq-Recession needs to be addressed by the Democrats, not exacerbated by the EndlessWar McSame!
WHOOT is right!
Let's get the truth out there about old man McCain! HE is better off, because his old lady is in the top 1% it appears. who really knows, they won't release her income figures, but boy did they give Teresa Heinz holy hell when she did not want to!
Lets get this ad rolling... We need it on and we need it on now!!! Good job DNC!!!
I don't like this ad. First of all, I don't think the Dems should pay to get McCain's mug on the air. Secondly, the verbiage starts with "you could say." That's not a claim he's making or intends to stand by. Thirdly, whether or not the images register, the verbiage is not memorable. All the audience is going to take away is McCain's pleasant, reassuring voice. Fourthly, since I don't think McCain is anything but a place-holder or stand-in, testing themes for the party, the focus on him is a waste of time. Elections are about the voters. Money is better spent getting out the vote, making sure the ballotting will be accurate and that Democrats are elected up and down the line.

Sorry about the double post. The blog is REALLY slow to load and didn't let me see that anything had gone through.
WHAT? Is this man talking about the same nation? This is BS... This is mainly 1 of the reasons I am voting for Sen. Clinton... It took 1 Clinton to clean after a Bush, again we need another Clinton to clean after another Bush!
To answer the question: No on this moment, we're NOT better off. If you go to the IMF site and click on Country info, select the US. You clearly see the growth for this year and the next. these are for 2008 0,5 % growth of GDP and next year 0,6 % growth.
OK the creditcrises is responsible for a lot of the mess. But even then, it's Bush handling the economy. I mean if ya see that 1 € is worth 1, 60 us... that says something about the strength of t-Uncle Sam's Dollar.
And McCain doesn't know enough about the economy.. a Presidential candidate I can say under the McCain Presidency, we're just as bad off as we're on this very moment, maybe even worse.

The real John McCain is a War Hero Fighter. But a vague runner in the election process. God Bless you John McCain. Go home you were built for war planning but not a policy planner. You have to have God and the whole Country in mind. So far the Republicans don't seem to be capable of thinking of others, only how to swell their pockets. If you insist on hanging on to the policies of the Bush Administration, I see Hillary Clinton overcoming you for the LOVE OF GOD.
For crying out loud - we know that the country has been run by a group of corrupt liars for the last 7 years. Why isn't the DNC telling the American people what it plans to change in the next 4 years rather than playing the old "vote for me because the other guy is a moron" game. Pathetic. (And, in case you're interested, I do intend to vote Democrat so tell me what "Change" I can expect by doing so).
The DNC has not shown any leadership in this campaign and I will not donate $1.00 until Howard Dean steps up and does his job. The Clinton's are wrecking our Party and Dean is standing by watching it happen, all the while McBush is gaining in the polls. Lets be REAL. Hillary has no chance to win, and yet she continues her Republican type attacks on our inevitable Nominee. Shame, Shame, Shame. United we win, Divided we Fail. Thanks for nothing Howard, your obvious lack of leadership in the most important election in our lifetime is shameful. Get a grip on Hillary and her mudslinging, fuzzy math, and lies she is spewing to the media. The Dem Party is going to have a huge problem if this is allowed to continue. Do the math, and lets get on with the general election. Then, and only then, will I part with my hard earned dollars and support your advertising efforts.

Wait til they hand this to Clinton. Republicans are praising Hillary now because they want her for a huge republican turnout. Democrats are dumb enough to do it and turn off voters.
I quit voting in '88 because of what they are going to do to Obama in about a month. I started voting again in '04 because I thought maybe I was wrong. Guess not. Maybe after 4 more years of republican rule, the "brains" of the DNC will wake up.
I was willing to vote for any democrat in '08, but the negative stuff by the Clinton camp has soured me on voting once again. Best for me to sit home once again.
