Kicking Ass: The Democratic Party's Blog

Behind Closed Doors

Bush will be joining John McCain on the campaign trail next week, but he's so unpopular they don't want anybody but big donors to know about it. The events will be closed to the public, and will not be allowed anywhere inside the fundraisers.

From the Associated Press:

President Bush starts raising money for John McCain's campaign next week, but the three fundraisers are closed, so there will be no news media cameras photographing the outgoing and incoming Republican party leaders together nor reporters observing their joint appearances.

The White House announced Friday that Bush will be the main attraction at three McCain events next week — in Phoenix, Salt Lake City and Park City, Utah.

There's also this bit of accounting involved, for those of you wondering whether taxpayers are funding the travel for these events:

During Bush's three-day trip, he is also holding official presidential events at a Mesa, Ariz., cable company on Tuesday and at the U.S. Air Force Academy commencement on Wednesday. Under the complicated formula by which the cost of presidential travel is allocated when he is doing party events, the presence of official events on his schedule dramatically reduces the cost to McCain's campaign for Bush's campaign appearances.

In other words the taxpayers are footing the bill for the the crime king, Bush to go around schmoozing with his fellow non-taxpaying conspirators, trying to get McCain elected for a third four year term of the Bushiato conspriacy, so they can continue bleeding this country of money and young people to line their own corrupt, sociopathic pockets.
That third term needs to be in Leavenworth Kansas!

Bush is pimping for McCain and we the taxpayers are picking up the tab? Why don't they coordinate Jena's book tour and write that off, too?

These people have more gall than money.

I read in the article before this one a lot of nasty stuff about Clinton and then they would praise O'Bama. "It must be a group of blacks that are getting so dirty and hateful about Clinton."
They are so afraid Clinton will win and they won't get all that free stuff. And all those good jobs in O'Bama's cabinet.

They just don't have it in them to behave!

The people bashing Clinton should take this warning to heart!

Hillary has more votes than O'Bama if you counted all of them.

You want to divide her votes with O'Bama in Florida and Michigan.

"We the people that support her could refuse to vote in the General Election."

Then where would you smart, testy people be that is for O'Bama?

You are walking on Holy Ground when you walk on Clinton!
