McCain has proven himself to be a hypocrite by claiming "War Hero" status for himself and turning his back on his fellow veterans not only on this New GI Bill issue, but by not standing up against the abuses of the past few years going on into the present, with PTSD and brain trauma veterans getting kicked to the wall, the lack of proper billeting and responsive medical treatment for soldiers, and the cutbacks in the Veterans' Administration.
By using his record only for his own selfish purposes and failing to standing up for his fellow GIs, he has shown himself to be unworthy of any respect.
