NRCC: "There are no safe Republican seats" in 2008

You know things are not looking so hot for House Republicans when the communications director for the entity responsible for getting them elected says this:

"This is a challenging environment," she said. "Any Republican running for office has to run basically on an independent platform, localize the race and not take anything for granted. There are no safe Republican seats in this election."

Ouch. That is quite the admission: the Republican platform is too weak to run on because the planks have been rotted out.
