I knew that like with every single holiday, the Only ones with no friends, no families that want to spend time with them, no place to go, that the trolls would all be here! SAD! all that hatred makes them undesirables!
there can be no such thing as victory in Iraq! John Mcbush is a senile old loser, saying otherwise! We will leave with our tail between our legs!

How the Resistance Will Eventually Kick the Americans Out
One thing the United States doesn't get about guerrilla warfare: It's not over until the guerrillas win.
It's very easy to see what's up in Iraq right now -- if you're willing to face it. The trouble is, most "experts" aren't willing. That has been the pattern right from the beginning. We didn't want to admit there even was an insurgency, and even now, nobody misses a chance to declare that "the surge worked," as if that translates to "we win, it's over, let's go home."
Fact number one about guerrilla wars: They're not over until the guerrillas win. Mao set out the guerrilla's viewpoint 80 years ago: "The enemy wants to fight a short war, but we simply will not let him." The longer the guerrillas stay in the game, the sicker the occupying army gets. Sooner or later, they'll go home -- because they can. It's that simple, and it works. So anyone who tells you it's over is just plain ignorant. That's one thing you can rule out instantly.
Meanwhile, on the political front, Sadr is setting up the new political wing to "liberate minds," meaning "control the new Shia Baghdad." You see, what the U.S. press isn't telling us, but I know from my top-secret military moles in Iraq, is that there are no more Sunni districts in Baghdad. Baghdad is becoming a Shia city fast. Formerly Sunni districts like Karkh are now majority-Shia. There are a few holdout Sunni neighborhoods ("nahias") and little slices of neighborhoods ("malhallas.")
But they're crumbling, too. Baghdad is a Shia city and getting Shia-er by the day. So Sadr is in position to be mayor and warlord at the same time. Lord, he must laugh his Orson Welles beard off when he reads these ignorant U.S. military "analysts" saying he's renouncing violence
somebody should tell the Iraqis how well the surge is going!!!!
Iraqi Shiites denounce security pact with US
Iraqi protesters shout anti-American slogans as they demonstrate against long US presence in Iraq.
BAGHDAD - Large crowds of Shiites on Friday denounced the security pact Baghdad is negotiating with Washington for a long-term US military presence in violence-wracked Iraq.
In Baghdad's Sadr City, the bastion of cleric Moqtada al-Sadr, Shiite men, women and children shouted anti-American slogans as they demonstrated against the security deal after the weekly Friday prayers.
"No, no to colonisation! Out, out you occupier!" the crowd shouted in the centre of Sadr City where fierce battles raged in March and April between Shiite militants and US forces in which hundreds of people were killed.
TEST:
Barack Obama will be the next President of the United States of America.
This concludes my test.

McCain wants much larger US military
Republican presidential candidate John McCain wants the US military to be much larger than current expansion plans envision, an adviser to the Arizona senator said this week.
The Bush administration has begun expanding the US Army and Marine Corps to create a combined strength of around 750,000 active duty troops - a process backed by McCain's Democratic rival, Sen. Barack Obama of Illinois.
But McCain believes an Army and Marine Corps with a combined strength of up to 900,000 troops is necessary, said Randy Scheunemann, an adviser to the candidate on foreign policy and national security.
Great. My Test Worked.

Obamas turning right, that will leave all you little commies out in the cold come November.Posted by JoeCholla on July 6, 2008 at 11:21 AM
Obama is not "turning to the right".
Just because he is a person of Faith , does not mean he is acting centrist. Democrats need to stop allowing the Republicans define us. My senator, Russ Feingold is a person of Faith. Robert Wexler is a person f Faith and the two of them are some of the most progressive members f Congress we have.
And as far as the fake claims that he's turned his back regarding FISA and IRAQ goes , those are lies created and perpetuated by the Media in an effort to help their BBQ Picnic Pal , John Mc Cain. Here. Look at this video. You'll see.

Oh Gawd, another day and the trolls have no place to go! Wonder what they thought when every single Dem was out with BBQ's, parades, friends, families, and only their lonely asses where stuck at their little dark computers hiding what they were doing from their kids and adopted kids.? Doesn't occur to them, they are sick, sick, sick...............
Oh well, maybe by christmas, when Democrats are fully in charge of our government, their sour grapes will become acceptance! LOL!
bbl, Dems,
president "wanna-be" mcloser was on the news this morning bragging how the hostages were freed in Columbia as if it was all his doing.
What an ahole.
Bill Richardson also went to Columbia. The release is most likely a result of Bill's "DIPLOMACY" something the mcbush's never heard of.
As Americans gear up for the 4th of July, one wonders what there is to celebrate. Many families have canceled travel plans due to the high prices of gas. The new and ridiculous airline regulations regarding baggage also present another major challenge to would-be travelers. The airline industry is already hurting and this may end up seeing the end of yet more airline companies. This "holiday" usually begins the summer travel season.
The economy is in a stage that could more properly be referred to as "death rattles" as families lose their homes to foreclosure, the price of food goes through the roof and yet the "cash" continues to flow outwards to the continuing destruction abroad in Iraq, Palestine and Afghanistan with no end in sight as the US Congress just approved yet another ridiculous war spending bill against voters’ wishes. Yet social programs are pathetically inadequate and universal health care non-existent.
The US also has the distinction of being one of the most hated nations in history alongside Hitler’s Germany with the interventions, arrogance, death and destruction the empire has perpetrated around the globe. The Patriot Act and surveillance for domestic and foreign "terrorists" has eroded all the freedoms supposedly gained by the founding fathers, and these same founding fathers would not even recognize the monster the nation they founded has become.
So this date of infamy might be better spent on reflection of what happened to this still young nation. Where did it go wrong and what must be done to change it? The world remains optimistic that somehow, some way, Americans will smarten up, wake up and do something about the country they think exists, but really doesn’t. The corporate elitist media still largely has them in a haze of unreality…a sad situation.
Thanks President Asshole!
The nation lost jobs for a sixth month in a row in June, a storm of pink slips drenching this year's July Fourth holiday for more than 60,000 Americans and leaving thousands more worried about the future.
Weighed down by energy prices and the housing crisis, employers laid off workers in stores, factories and forsaken building sites.
With more job cuts expected in coming months, there's growing concern that many people will pull back on their spending later this year when the bracing effect of the tax rebates fades, dealing a dangerous setback to the shaky economy. These worries are rekindling recession fears.
"The deteriorating jobs climate will dampen many a barbecue this weekend. It's hard to celebrate when you are out of a job," said Richard Yamarone, economist at Argus Research.
In June alone, employers got rid of 62,000 jobs, bringing total losses so far this year close to a staggering half-million — 438,000, according to the Labor Department's report released Thursday. The economy needs to generate more than 100,000 new jobs a month for employment to remain stable.
The jobless rate held steady at 5.5 percent after jumping in May by the most in two decades. Still, June's jobless rate was considerably higher than the 4.6 percent of a year ago. The unemployment rate is expected to climb through the rest of this year and top 6 percent early next year.
Just in the past few days, Chrysler LLC said it would close a plant and Starbucks Corp. said it would shut some 600 stores in the next year, meaning more lost jobs ahead. American Airlines recently said it may cut flight attendant jobs, the AP reports.
"It's probably going to be this downward glide [of job losses] – nothing really drastic but maybe 50,000 to 100,000 a month," says Brian Bethune, an economist at Global Insight in Lexington, Mass. "What we'd like to see is for the employment market to stabilize" later this year.
"Remarkably, job cuts have not spread as widely as we might expect in this weakening economy," John Challenger, a Chicago outplacement executive, says in a written analysis of employment conditions. "Job cuts in the retail, industrial goods, and consumer product manufacturing sectors have remained fairly level since the economy began its decline last August."
He adds that state governments could be putting themselves in a bind. By keeping employment high now, they may face even tougher choices on how to balance budgets next year. Many states are now running through reserves, in part because falling home prices are affecting property tax revenues, Christian Science Monitor reports.
The Labor Department report included several other important indicators:
- The nation's unemployment rate held steady at 5.5 percent.
- Average hourly earnings rose to $18.01, a 6-cent gain for the month.
- The average work week stayed at 33.7 hours. A decline in overtime, and a shift for many workers into part-time work, has been one way that the employers have adjusted in recent months without resorting to more layoffs.
- Some 5.4 million part-time workers would rather be working full time, up from 4.3 million a year ago.
- More than 18 percent of unemployed workers have been without jobs for at least half a year, another sign of stress in the job market.
Finally! A judge who is not afraid to ram it down Bush's throat!!!
Judge Rejects Bush's View on Wiretaps
A federal judge ruled that Bush's views on wiretapping were beyond the constitutional authority of the president.
Washington - A federal judge in California said Wednesday that the wiretapping law established by Congress was the "exclusive" means for the president to eavesdrop on Americans, and he rejected the government's claim that the president's constitutional authority as commander in chief trumped that law.

At least 2.5 million people have been killed in natural disasters over the recent 48 years. The number of casualties over the recent 20 years made up 1.6 million people, the UN said.
Rob Vos, the director of the Development Policy and Analysis Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs (DESA), said that the number of natural disasters taking place in the world nowadays has quadrupled in comparison with the 1970s. The disaster-related economic damage has increased at least seven times.
The authors of the report delivered at the UN headquarters in New York at the session of the UN Economic and Social Council did not specify the reason why natural disasters started happening more frequently in the world today. They said, however, that the frequency of catastrophes could be linked with the global climate change. It was also said that the death toll in developing states exceeds the number of casualties in developed states 20-30 times.
“The consequences of disasters become more and more destructive, whereas the countries are unable to overcome them effectively without the assistance from the international community. We believe it is necessary to set up a foundation to help the victims of natural disasters with the budget of 4 or 5 billion dollars,” Vos said.
The official added that all existent humanitarian projects including those conducted under the UN aegis are mostly aimed at overcoming consequences rather than preventing them.
The United States is moving closer to setting up an Africa Command to secure the rear flank of its global "war on terrorism", with eyes trained on vital oil reserves and lawless areas where terrorists have sought safe haven to regroup and strike against its interests.

HEIL BUSH AND CHENEY! HEIL MCBUSH!
TODAY AFRICA, TOMORROW THE WORLD! THEN THE MOON! THEN MARS! AD INFINITUM!
One of the first duties of our new Democratic president would be to declare by executive order that bush and cheney are "terrists".
Round them up and send them to the Hague for trial for crimes against humanity, war crimes and crimes against peace.
I get such a kick out of Repugs, who think they are patriotic because they support and believe the lies of Chimp in office. It does not ever occur to them, that the President and the rest of his administration LAUGH their asses off, that there are simple minds still out there (23%) who believe them!
A Patriot is not afraid to question what his leaders are doing. Just imagine if the founding fathers had gone along with everthing King George of England told them to!!! We'd be curtysing to the Queen ! LOL, thank God there are still some smart people out there to offse that last 23% !
It will be really funny when the truth comes out about that Old Man Colonel Day and John Mcbush!
http://www.snopes.com/politics/mccain/gettingtoknow.asp
It would be almost poetic justice to have McBush elected, and the first thing he does is grant Amnesty for the illegals and install Guest passes for all their cousins! Secondly, he will probably hire Al Gore to run the Global Warming Program to force all companies and citizens of the USA to comply with his laws ! hahahahahahahaha---think of all those Sour Sour Grapes then!!!!!
waiting to see what comes of this story, too!
Bush trying to take credit , McBush trying to take credit, and all the time it is because instead of compromise, Bush paid money for the release? Watta way to go, Georgie boy! You PAY those terrorists! That'll teach em!
Ransom Claim in Ingrid Betancourt Release
Ingrid Betancourt arrived in France today after being held captive for six years in the Colombian jungle, amid claims that a ransom was paid to free her.
The Colombian government said that she was freed in an audacious operation after the military tricked Farc into handing the French-Colombian politician over without a shot being fired.
But quoting "reliable sources", Swiss Radio reported that a ransom was paid of around $20m (£10m).
It said that the US, which had three citizens among those freed, was behind the deal and that "the whole operation afterwards was a set-up."
If proved true, the allegations would be hugely embarrassing for the Colombian government which was showered with praise for the efficiency of the operation. Many commentators had predicted that it would even spell the end of Farc as a credible force.

I can hardly wait for the new President, and the installation of Global Warming requirements!
(this global COOLING is killing me! Another record hot, humid day here!)LOL! What idiot would believe this is global cooling?)
"Climate change was a top agenda item for the Toyako summit. The U.N.-led talks aimed at forging a new global warming accord by the end of 2009 have stalled because of deep disagreements over what targets to set for greenhouse gas reductions, and how much developing countries like China and India should be required to participate.
As of Sunday, it was still unclear whether nations would be able to agree to a goal of cutting their emissions 50 percent by 2050. A more ambitious goal of setting nearer-term targets for 2020 were considered well beyond reach.
"I don't think they're going to do much. They're going to kick the can down the road," said Alden Meyer, a climate change expert with the Union of Concerned Scientists, suggesting real progress would have to wait for a new U.S. president in January.

McCain Struggles to Regain Footing
Sunday 06 July 2008

by: Liz Sidoti, The Associated Press
Washington - John McCain calls himself an underdog. That may be an understatement. The GOP presidential candidate trails Democrat Barack Obama in polls, organization and money while trying to succeed a deeply unpopular fellow Republican in a year that favors Democrats.
McCain also doesn't seem to have a coherent message let alone much of a strategy despite securing the nomination three months earlier than Obama.

For Republicans, the Senate Outlook Is Bad
Mississippi and other longtime strongholds could go Democratic this fall. Obama's candidacy is a boost.
Washington - Mississippi, one of the nation's most conservative states, has not elected a Democratic senator in a quarter-century. It has voted for Republican presidential candidates in the last seven elections.
That prospect is a window onto a remarkable political trend that has been eclipsed by the fireworks surrounding the 2008 presidential contest: Democrats are running strong Senate campaigns in states such as Mississippi, Alaska and North Carolina that Republicans have long taken for granted.
The outlook for the GOP is so grim that party leaders have readily conceded there is no chance they can regain control of the Senate in 2008, even though Democrats' current majority is slim, 51-49.
"If you have an R in front of your name, you better run scared," said Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.), chairman of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, who says the party will do well if it holds its losses to three or four seats.
The Mississippi race between Democratic former Gov. Ronnie Musgrove and Republican Sen. Roger Wicker distills the wide range of factors that have put congressional Republicans in their weakest position since the Watergate scandal of the 1970s.
The overall political climate, shaped by the sluggish economy and President Bush's low approval ratings, is souring many voters on Republicans. The party has been hobbled by a stampede of retirements by senior Republicans, including Mississippi Sen. Trent Lott. After Lott quit in 2007, Wicker was appointed to replace him.
Barack Obama's presidential campaign has generated a big boost in Democratic voter registration, especially among African Americans, who make up more than a third of Mississippi's population. Other quirks, such as ethics scandals, are putting more Republican Senate seats at risk than seemed likely a year ago.
Another improbable battleground is Alaska, which has not elected a Democratic member of Congress since 1974, and which gave Bush 61% of its vote in the last presidential election. This year, GOP Sen. Ted Stevens is facing a tough reelection fight, shadowed by ethics questions concerning his ties to an oil field services contractor.
Democrat Mark Begich, the mayor of Anchorage, is leading in some polls. He also is expecting to benefit from a surge of Democratic activism organized by Obama, who won the state's caucuses by a landslide.
While the Senate races are roiling some states unexpectedly, two incumbents whom Democrats considered top targets are holding their own.

Look at the Idiot in Chief! Agreeing that there is global warming and Problems, but pretending it is China and India who are holding up progress! Gawd, this man makes America look SO bad!
TOYAKO, Japan (AFP) - US President George W. Bush pledged Sunday to play a "constructive" role on climate change at a summit of rich nations, but hopes for a breakthrough were dim as he pressed developing countries.
Japan, the host of the three-day Group of Eight summit, pushed for progress in the fight against global warming but environmentalists said that any agreement was unlikely to be far-reaching.
"Yeah, I'll be constructive," Bush told a joint news conference after meeting Japanese Prime Minister Yasuo Fukuda on the eve of the G8 summit in the northern mountain resort of Toyako.
"I also am realistic enough to tell you that if China and India don't share the same aspiration that we're not going to solve the problem," Bush said.
Fukuda said last-minute climate negotiations were underway within the G8, which comprises Britain, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Russia and the United States.
"The US, I believe, has not really lost a sense of direction. I think that our views are gradually converging," Fukuda said.

neighbors having a party, called for us to go have a drink and a hot dog. If I never see another hot dog or hamburger again, it will be too soon! All these holiday parties with family and friends are getting to me! :)
I hope the campaign will be run better than this web site!!!
Why does it matter where Obama was born since his mother was an American citizen at the time of his birth. That would automatically make him an American, even if he had been born on the moon. John McCain was born in Panama, was he not?
This blog is so messed up and inhabited mainly by agitators with nothing else to do. I repeat that I hope the campaign will be conducted with more skill and dignity than this blog site.
This is what the world thinks of bush. BWHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
Democrats decided to add more fuel to the fire of Bush’s resignation and ventured to impeach the president. It is an open secret that George Bush’s IQ is not higher than that of a gorilla. However, Democrats liken themselves to Bush with an intention to knock Bush down shortly before he retires himself.

One can't help wondering why these negative posters must use the DNC blog. Can't they afford one of their own? Maybe all their money was spent on the new "Straight Talk Express". I've been wondering where the money came from for that when there wasn't enough to fix the old "Straight Talk Express" bus. It is truly a conundrum.
Those who are worried about Obama's alleged shift to the center should remember how much better even a centerist Democrat is than another Republican. All decent Republicans have, during the course of Bush's disasterous reign, either left the party or left politica altogether. Okay, sure, some crawled under rocks and will crawl out if their party starts on a strict program of purging and renewal, but others have become independents or libertarians or green or democrat. Those who have supported Bush through to the end are not people we want in office! Our most center Dems are infinitely better for the country than any deludedly proud Repub. First of all, I don't believe Obama has shifted significantly, but even if he did, he's soooooo much better than McCain.
Everything seems fine except I can`t get in? Testing................

This is very strange. When I refresh my screen the number of visible posts is zero. Am I still logged in?
On the evolutionary ladder, a Communist is 25 rungs higher than a Bush Republican and a true liberal Democrat is at the top of the ladder, a thousand rungs higher than a Bush Republican. Crawl back in your rodent hole Sally. two Moslems are still looking for you!

my guess is the US and other countries will be kicked the hell out of Afghanistan very soon! McCain type of piloting going on, it seems.
'At least 20 people have been killed in a missile strike by coalition forces in Afghan's eastern Nangarhar province.
Local people say that the group was a wedding party and that most of the dead were women and children.
Meanwhile Afghan President Hamid Karzai has ordered an investigation into a missile attack by US helicopters on Friday in which 15 people died.
The BBC's Martin Patience in Kabul says the issue of civilian casualties is hugely sensitive in Afghanistan.

Zogby Poll: Building Mo-bama! Democrat Leads McCain in Electoral College Tally, 273-158
The Democrat also leads 44% to 38% in the nationwide horserace test as Libertarian Bob Barr wins 6%
UTICA, New York – As the race for President passes the Independence Day holiday and heads toward the dog days of summer, Sen. Barack Obama holds a 44% to 38% lead over Sen. John McCain in the horserace contest, but also leads by a substantial margin in a state-by-state Electoral College tally, a new Zogby Interactive poll shows.
The extensive national poll of of 46,274 likely voters also shows Libertarian candidate and former Congressman Bob Barr wins 6% support, eating into McCain’s needed conservative base of support.
The online survey was conducted from June 11-30, 2008. It carries a margin of error of 0.5 percentage points. After nearly a decade in development, the Zogby Interactive survey on a state level was remarkably accurate in the 2006 midterm elections. In 18 U.S. Senate elections polled two years ago, the Zogby online survey correctly identified the winner of 17 of 18 races, and in the 18th race – in Missouri, it was still within the margin of error, though it had Republican Jim Talent winning (he was defeated narrowly by Democrat Claire McCaskill).
REMEMBER Dems, if you have not called your Senators yet on the FISA bill, do it now! They will not be back in DC, but their office's phone voicemail and fax numbers are open ! Tell them letting the telecom companies off the hook for breaking the law is not acceptable!

"Sally" has created a lot of really bad Karma, when it comes back to 'ol "Sally", he/she/it will be a public spectacle beyond belief. Out in the pasture eating grass with the cows among other activities to gross to mention. Not something any decent person will want to watch.
gee, if I remember it all correctly, 9/11 was in the year 2001------Republican Rule! And there were all kinds of warnings and memos before it, that were totally ignored, because Bushie was on vacation all the time, and Rice was an idiot!
So Republicans have NEVER kept us safe !! 3000 dead American's blood is on Bush's hands!

LOL, {{John Boy}}}
You know, ole Sally disappeared a couple years back for a long period of time. I have a bet that he was scooped up and spent some time in the looney bin. He tried to pass his absence off as 'moving' for 6 months, but he was still in the same old hole in the woods! I think the mayor of Hinckley was concerned about his actions! :)

Please state the exceptions. I have friends born in Europe of an American mother and German father who are American citizens by birth.
Pam, Sally was in Hinckley, MN, hooked up to an IV drip for about 8 months; they were trying to dissolve the aluminum deposits in "Sally's" brain. Two things are now obvious, 1) "Sally" was released, 2) The IV drip did NOT work .....John Boy.....
Pam, will chat with you later....as Fade used to say,..."Keep the fire lit"....Later, ....John Boy.....
Warren-The blog is broken. It has been broken since May 30. Keep trying.

Hi Cate,
Broken? What happened? I never heard of a blog getting "broke" before but I suppose it can happend. Was it something like a virus or technical problem?
Something just happened, it went from 330 or more posts to 121. Maybe I need to post again?
I do wish the RNC and John McCain could afford their own blog site so we wouldn't have to share.
