The corporate media got it wrong. They couldn't make a rift where Hillary didn't want it. We are united and we are going to take the White House and Congress.

It is done.

Senator Clinton is a class act, she came through for the party and we all owe her a debt of gratitude. All that's left is for senate Democrats to elect her as the Senate Majority Leader. Senator Reid has done a fine job in his quiet way, now it's time to allow Senator Clinton to share her wisdom and willpower with the rest of America, for the benefit of all Americans. The Clinton legacy has now been cemented in our hearts and minds, and we can't wait to hear from President Clinton later this evening.

Okay, having just watched Hillary Clinton on the floor of the Convention ask for a suspension of the rules and that Barack Obama be our candidate for president, I have to say, she is, indeed, a class act. Our party is enriched by her affiliation. Once in a while you have the privilege of seeing the genesis of a mythic figure: I think Hillary Clinton is someone whose mark on our party will be everlasting and glorious. My heart is overflowing. Thank you, Hillary.

I really fear Richie Daley talking in front of 80,000 people tomorrow.

A debate between him and Chimpy would require a translator from the planet XZXYECZZZXXes. (pronounced: "Gluck") Neither of them could string 3 words together and make a coherent sentence, but Daley's problem is that his brain works faster than his mouth can enunciate. He gets so worked up about things he believes in that one of these days he's going to have a stroke trying to explain his thought process to stupid people.

Plus, he's a White Sox fan, so BOOOOOO!

An orator he is NOT.

He must have inherited that gene from his father.

Whew! They moved him up to the 'Hey Richie, if anyone can empty a room, YOU are the man. Just start talking' spot.

The guy is smart, but he's NO orator.

Bill Clinton hit the ball out of the park with his speech tonight. He left no doubt of his support for Obama. He was eloquent, unequivocal and decisive. What a great speech! Well done, sir!

Yes tylinCA and Caldemo, SandyH and Doo-Bee!

What a beautiful night of Clintons, Kerrys, Bidens and Obamas and I just cannot leave out the military speakers! I know a lot of people who are proud to be DEMS tonight after watching the convention in their towns across this country!

It was a comfort to see Bill up front again. I miss the good old nineties when we were prosperous and the world liked us once again after too many years of Republican mismanagement. Compared to now, I remember how safe I felt. This world was a nicer place.

Now - as Bill has told us, we have got to get Obama/Biden elected as well as carry the majorities in Congress so that the DEM team can exercise the policies and leadership that created that growth of prosperity again! Fifty percent will not do, it takes a 2/3rd majority vote to over-ride a veto by the opposite party!

I just loved it when Bill talked about how he was called too young and inexperienced to lead! The eight years of gains we had during President Clinton's stellar term are a factual historical testimony that our side is right and their side is wrong wrong wrong. Our Clinton/Gore team turned this country around!!!

Let's do it again!

Obama/Biden 2008
Working for Us. They know how to get the job done!
