More of the Same Media Center: Day 1
The Democratic National Committee today announced the program at the More of the Same Media Center for Day 1 of the Republican National Convention. The day will start with an 8:30 am breakfast followed by a 9:15 am press briefing featuring featuring Texas Rep. Chet Edwards, California Rep. Hilda Solis, and VoteVets Chairman and co-founder Jon Soltz. Additionally, the Obama for America campaign will hold a Camp Obama training to teach volunteers the best strategies to organize their towns and neighborhoods and turn Obama supporters out to vote on November 4.
Each day of the Republican convention, Democrats will outline John McCain's promise of more of the same failed Bush policies at the DNC at the RNC's More of the Same Media Center -- conveniently located directly across the street from the Xcel Energy Center at 411 Main Street. Breakfast will begin at 8:30AM, with the news conference beginning at 9:15AM. The news conference will be made available to outlets around the country via satellite. Reporters who attend the morning briefing will also receive updated flash drives pre-loaded with information related to that day's theme and convention speakers.
