Good Morning - I think. So who is it going to be for the VP spot and when will he annouce it?
This infuriates me. Lieberman is campaigning all over Florida for McCain.
"Loserman is still sore"....campaigning for McCain all over Florida.
That is the paper's headline. Lieberman is a slap in the face to Democrats.

I think this is a big mistake...
So - it appears that the Republicans are at it again. Can they not do anything without cheating?
McCain was in a motorcade to the Religious Forum and didn't hear the live feed, but his staff who were with him had Blackberrys and they could have been feeding him the questions before hand....
Sort of reminds me of the "lump" on the backside of Bush during the debates..when you have unqualified people running for President, you have to doanything to make them appear "Presidental" - even cheat!

sunny, this is why we MUST get to 60 seats in the Senate this time. We need 11 more seat and must keep Landrieu in place.
Then Loserman will be thrown to the garbage where he belongs!

Good Morning
Do republicans want you to die for their foreign policy screw-ups?
Do republicans what to die for President Bush and VP Cheney’s foreign policy screw-ups?
Read the news of events that lead to the current crisis.
Bush visit Sochi Russian Black Sea resort on April 5-6 2008 to have discussion with Putin. Putin at that time told Bush not to push for Georgia and other break away former Russian states from joining NATO. That was 6 months ago, when he had high level discussion with the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev and Former President Putin.

If I was Barack I would have ads showing the financial advisors on his board and letting the public know he has the smartest people on the planet as council! Then have McBush`s buddy calling the American people winers. The American people need to know that Barack surrounds himself with the people who know how to get us out of the unbelievable mess!
Dearest Democrats,
I watched the program with Obama and Pastor Rick Warren. My final analysis, Obama did not read Rick Warrens body of work, he was not briefed on evangelical speak or language or topics, ...
If you are going to fight lions in a closed cage then you better learn a lot about lions before stepping into their cage!!
Dearest Democrats,
When are you going to learn there is no beast in existance named,"Compassionate or Moderate Christian Right"!
Show me a compassionate, moderate mass murderer who only used torture and inhumane treatment of other human beings "only sometimes and sparingly" because he loves man and woman of every ethinic background before killing their entire village.
Although I was surprised by Senator Obama's agreement to Rick Warren's invitation, I do not think it was a mistake. If other viewers perceived the event as I did, Senator McCain's "canned & coached" remarks were far less interesting than Senator Obama's introspective and honest responses.

Slightly ironic statement, considering the IQ level of the majority of the posts on this blog.
Posted by HybridFuel on August 18, 2008 at 12:16 PM
You do know that Obama and Rick Warren really ARE friends, right? And that Obama has spoken at Saddleback Church before?
For my part, I am gratified to see an evangelical leader such as Rick Warren actually admit that there are different worldviews and that there are places where those of opposing views on some things can come together on others. No, he's never going to support abortion...but he might be willing to support, along with seemingly MANY of the audience members, considering the applause, strengthening programs to help pregnant women make choices other than abortion and also making sure pregnant women get quality prenatal care. He might even go for more education on birth control.
I don't know why I'm bothering, since the majority of you are completely insane with hatred. THAT is the truly sickening thing that has come out of the forum that Obama attended.
The Inconvenient Lies of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change
By Dr. Tim Ball in the Canada Free Press
My grandmother used to say, “Your sins will find you out.” It’s a variation on Sir Walter Scott’s comment, “Oh what a tangled web we weave, when first we practice to deceive!” but far more direct to an impressionable grandson. World leaders consistently cite the findings of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) as the basis for their policies on energy and environment. In response to my email on the subject John Baird, Canadian Minister of the Environment stated in part, “The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change’s Fourth Assessment Report, Climate Change 2007, presents compelling scientific proof that the world’s climate has changed because of human action and industrial growth. With respect to the role of carbon dioxide in causing climate change, the Panel finds that carbon dioxide is “the most important” human-produced greenhouse gas. The Government of Canada accepts the Panel’s findings, and is moving forward to address climate change.” Most other governments take the same position, which is unfortunate because the IPCC position is based on an unproven theory tested with a computer model designed to prove the theory, but which consistently produces results that don’t match reality. Ironically, it is their definitive positions and statements that provide the evidence for their tangled web.
There is not a single case in history for any period of any duration where temperature increase precedes CO2 increase. All records show temperature increase precedes CO2 increase. But the IPCC have ‘proved’ with computer models they are 90% certain that the current warming is due to anthropogenic greenhouse gases, namely CO2. This is pre-determined because the computer model is programmed to have an increase in temperature if CO2 increases. By their own definitive statements, temperatures cannot go down as long as CO2 increases. Trouble is CO2 has continued to increase but temperatures have declined and many scientists expect them to go lower until at least 2030.
It didn’t take long for nature to show the IPCC was wrong. Excuses were equally quick to appear. For example, they said it was El Nino but that turned out to be a non-event. Of course, the IPCC couldn’t get the right answer for the cooling trend because it was not programmed in the computer. While they include solar activity they only consider one aspect - the electromagnetic spectrum. Meanwhile they studiously avoided any discussion of the clear relationship between sunspot activity and temperature. They claimed there was no mechanism to explain the correlation so it could not be included, but that is incorrect. A very valid mechanism known as the Cosmic Theory (Svensmark and Calder, “The Chilling Stars") has been in the literature with increasing detail since 1991. The date is important because IPCC claimed it was excluded because it was not published in time to meet their cut off date for consideration. Solar activity has declined since a peak at the end of the 20th century. There have been virtually no sunspots for over 400 days. The simple relationship is more sunspots higher temperatures, fewer sunspots colder temperatures. The Cosmic Theory provides the mechanism.
The IPCC mandate is to examine human causes of climate change. However, you cannot determine the human effect if you do not know the cause and extent of natural climate change. You cannot determine the effect if you leave out major components of the climate system and make assumptions that contradict natural evidence. As a result they have publicly determined with a 90% certainty that human CO2 is the cause of temperature change. Now events have caught up with them - their sins have found them out. My Grandmother wouldn’t be surprised nor should the public once they understand what is going on behind the so-called science.

"Do republicans want you to die for their foreign policy screw-ups?"
No, Republicans don't WANT us to die for their screw ups, that would imply some sort of caring one way or the other. Republicans DON'T CARE if we die for their screwups any more than if they would care if cows die for their steak dinner. We're just the faceless nobodies, who don't matter in their scheme of things, and who are only noticed if we inconveniently get upset at them, when our kids die in an illegal "war", or have to pay the taxes that they don't, or complain when stagnated wages don't cover the rising costs of living, or corporate Big Business ships our jobs overseas. We're just supposed to keep our mouths shut like good dumb animals and walk through the chute into the slaughter house.
The only time they give us a thought is when we stand up on our hind legs and tell them that their phony single-issue-voter issues are hypocritical in the light of the other evils they have caused in the world, and we are fed up with the corrupt evil mess they have made of our country.
Stand up, be noticed, piss off a Republican, take that tag our of your ear and don't say "moo".

You do know that Obama and Rick Warren really ARE friends, right? And that Obama has spoken at Saddleback Church before?from gregl
It was painful to watch. I for one wasn't too pleased to see the audience clap and clap when McCain said something and just a slight mummer when Obama spoke. It was a slanted crowd no doubt. And greg - maybe they are friends but Obama came off stiff and forced.
I hope to god this hasn't taken him down in the polls today - and I hope to god he doesn't do this sort of thing again. If he has to go before a forum like this - perhaps we could get McCain in front of a gay/lesbian forum?
I'm telling you now, Obama needs Hillary. whether he likes it or not. I don't like it, but if we want to win and win big we all need hillary. If he looses this thing because he didn't want to deal with bill and hill for four years, it will be the end of his career, I hope he gets that.
If other viewers perceived the event as I did, Senator McCain's "canned & coached" remarks were far less interesting than Senator Obama's introspective and honest responses.

jah, unfortunetly, those 'canned and coached" remarks and stories were Just what that assembled group wanted to hear.
What got me, was this group of pretend pious people, clapping at No Abortions, at all, any reason, and life starts at conception------clapping their assanine hands off when McCain answered "Defeat them" for what to do about Evil!
Oh, Yeah , Jesus lovers, you pray for bomb, bomb, bomb Iran. You keep your fingers crossed that McCain starts the Cold War up again with Russia! You hope that more of our US troops die for a lie in Iraq!
What a bunch of hypocritcal false religious persons. Do they think God is not paying attention to their thoughts?
People are really, really stupid! as evidenced by the trolls in here everyday! As evidenced by 2faced Evangelicals.
McCaskill Says McCain Undercut Bush on Georgia
Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) on Sunday accused Republican presidential candidate John McCain of undermining the Bush administration with his tough talk on Russia.
"I think John McCain's reaction to what happened in Russia did not reflect well on the position he should have taken, and that is one of understanding we have one president in this country, and that Secretary of State Rice and President Bush need the support of both presidential candidates
in a very tricky time as it relates to Russia and the neighboring states that are trying to establish democracies," McCaskill said of the Arizona senator's reaction to the conflict between Russia and Georgia over South Ossetia.

Crisis in Georgia Beginning to Turn Into a Big Political Liability for McCain
At first the unfolding conflict between Russia and its neighbor the Republic of Georgia seemed to be just what the McCain candidacy needed: a foreign policy crisis that would allow him to demonstrate a "tough, decisive, experienced" mastery of foreign affairs, and a new rationale for why Americans should choose experience over change in a dangerous world.
But it hasn't taken long for the developments in the Caucuses to become a growing political liability instead.
First, the unfolding conflict provides a fresh example of how McCain's War in Iraq has sapped American power and weakened American security

great idea!
Also throw in the Pro-Choice crowd, and the Anti War group !
That ought to even the odds up, right???
The IPCC mandate is to examine human causes of climate change. However, you cannot determine the human effect if you do not know the cause and extent of natural climate change
Stevie, Stevie, you poor old fool. You STILL don't get it , do you.
I have posted probably 15 articles, from different departments in the government, different Science groups, various other climate groups likeEPA, ALL OF WHOM HAVE SAID THAT BUSH AND THE WHITE HOUSE WILL NOT ALLOW ANY OF THE FACTS AND TRUTHS TO BE PUBLISHED. HE WILL NOT ALLOW THE DEPTS TO SHOW FACTS !
If you would at least pay attention to what is posted, at least see who is saying what, you would then understand it all. Yes, even you and your little backwoods, simple little brain !
Neither one of them would want to appear in front of gay/lesbian forum. They don't want to associate themselves with perverts. They are trying to win a national election.
It was good though, for you to point out that a gay/lesbian forum is the opposite of a Christian event.
Bush will not allow non facts to be published which was the point of the article above.
Hello everyone. Just stopping by to see if this was still working. I'm trying Firefox this time in hope I get better results.
Only an idiot would be scared by the global frickin warmin crowd when the earth is clearly cooling as evidenced by the cooler weather.
Hey Salle-* did you enjoy your morning coffee? hahaha PamB pegged you fools perfectly last night.
How stubbornly dense can a mind be, the world renound scientists, not the ones that graduated from Liberty, say that the warming of the earth causes extreme weather. Extreme tornado's, extreme hurricanes, extreme cold, extreme heat, screwed up seasons, extreme flooding, extreme drought. Go back to Liberty and take a science course, Oh thats right they don't have science courses at liberty, all the science you need is in the bible.

Why not - Obama appeared before that group of right wing loonies.... can't see the difference - they both are probably going to hell if you believe in that weird stuff...
You know who I feel bad for, the democrats that are christians and go to church. I have met several, just out and about. They have to hide the fact otherwise they are treated badly by the congregation. I predict with the evangellicals and the southern white baptists will only have, in the future, their families as members. Eventually, they will probably shut down due to lack of new members and funding. Heck, they will let anyone in there. I overheard a girl the other day talking about a guy who just got paroled and she said, "He's going to church now" Uh, not the place I really want my kids.
I see the topic is global warming. Not sure how sound all this science is, seems to me it wasn't studied long enough before so many people started taking it as God's Truth. Something with such a dramatic impact on world economies should be thoroughly studied and debated among all scientists before taking it as fact.
Obama on Monday is campaigning in New Mexico, Gov. Bill Richardson's home state. Richardson is considered a good pick because he could help bring in support from the Latino community.
I have always said that Richardson would make a terrific VP. That team would be almost non-stoppable. Over the weekend, they were interviewing people in our county and asked them who they might vote for. One lady said - well who ever is running as a Republican because we don't need change.
That's scary because this dumbwipe doesn't have a clue - and she votes.... uninformed jackass.
Something with such a dramatic impact on world economies should be thoroughly studied and debated among all scientists before taking it as fact.

udhhhhhh, Warren. What part have you missed , buddy, where EVERY SINGLE OTHER COUNTRY, the MAJORITY OF SCIENTISTS, the Nobel Prize committee,World Leaders, have all agreed that there is Global Warming! That Bush has refused to allow his own Depts of the Government to come out with the facts that they have found!
And YEAH, are you watching the olympics in China? It is so bad there, the athletes are wearing masks !
Global Warming and the pollution caused by the CO2 being trapped, is VERY VERY REAL.
Google why don't you.
I don't know what church newsjunkie goes to, but when I mentioned I was helping the Obama campaign, my fellow choir members asked me if I could get them Obama buttons.
I think that Wesley Clark should be the pick for VP. He would be a good counter to McCain's "war hero" claims. I think the Clintons had/have too many of their own agendas to be included in Obama's administration anywhere. Richardson would be a better Secretary of State. I think he would be a good one.
I understand why Barack Obama wanted to compete for the evangelical vote, but most of these people have already been told how to vote. The ones I`m somewhat near are all the same. They can`t wait for the rapture and McBush will get them there much faster. I told them I really didn`t care if they wanted to check out that my problem is they want the whole planet to go with them. Too bad for the non-believers, they think they`re the only ones who will be in heaven....
Hurry CactAss and the rest of you republican dopes. Lou Dobbs will be on showing how China has lead in baby bottles sold in the USA. Considering how much your party loves babies I would assume you would be outraged by the commies doing this to our babies. Where is your outrage at your party for giving china our jobs? I told you you are more likely and probably are currently being poisened by china than hurt by a muslum extremeist.
