I like this! Nice to see that the Denver police are prepared to deal with the idiot anarchists who are planning on disrupting the DNC convention. I assume that the Twin Cities police have a similar setup for those disrupting the RNC convention. Regardless of which political party you belong to the right of free assembly should be upheld.

Warehouse set to process convention arrests

By P. SOLOMON BANDA
Associated Press Writer

DENVER (AP) -- Individuals arrested at the Democratic National Convention will be processed at an industrial warehouse with chain-link cells topped by razor wire, a facility some have compared to the U.S. prison at Guantanamo Bay.

Groups planning marches, concerts and other events during the Aug. 25-28 convention dub the center "Gitmo on the Platte," for the nearby South Platte River.

The Denver sheriff's office, which operates city and county jails, insists anyone taken to the center will be there only a few hours while they're fingerprinted, issued a court date and released after posting bail. Others will be transferred to facilities designed for longer detentions.

"Of course if the numbers are overwhelming, that's all going to be out the door," said Capt. Frank Gale, a sheriff's spokesman. "If we're inundated with a bunch of civil unrest, it doesn't matter how well we prepare. If we get severe numbers it's going to take us forever" to process those in custody.

Video footage of the north Denver warehouse on Denver's KCNC-TV showed coils of razor wire topping chain-link cells. A sign read: "Electric stun devices used here."

Gale said each cell will be about 20-by-20 feet. He refused to say how many people could be processed there.

"It's just ridiculous, the thing looks like a dog pound," said Mark Cohen of the protest group Recreate-68 Alliance. "Even if you only put dogs in there, people will be complaining about it. I think you ought to have the Red Cross and Amnesty International come take a look at this thing."

Lindy Eichenbaum Lent, senior advisor to Mayor John Hickenlooper, said the warehouse was formerly used to store election equipment and construction was still underway to convert it to a processing center. She said the center was an effort to allay fears that those arrested would spend several unnecessary hours waiting to be processed.

Hickenlooper's office said police will ask people to voluntarily comply with their orders before arresting anyone. "The city does not anticipate the need for widespread arrests," the mayor's office statement said. But it noted "the intention of some organizations to deliberately get arrested."

The American Civil Liberties Union and the People's Law Project have been talking with the city about giving attorneys access to detainees. The city said attorneys can meet clients in court, not at the facility.

ACLU-Colorado legal director Mark Silverstein said city officials told him detained protesters will be taken by bus to the facility, about two miles northeast of downtown. Those who are unable or refuse to post bail will be taken to a downtown city jail to await a court date.

Silverstein said warehouse cells won't have running water, bathrooms or telephones. Gale said deputies will escort anyone needing those services.

Denver police working the convention will make as much as $1.2 million in overtime pay, city officials said. Budget estimates were released Friday and are part of the $50 million federal grant to cover convention security costs.

The 1,500 Denver police force plans to work 12-hour shifts from Aug. 23 to Aug. 29. Some are already working overtime training for the convention.

I'm glad to see more support for Wes Clark as potential Veep nominee. At 64, he has a great military record and would be an asset to an Obama administration. John McCain is obviously already over the hill with his hesitation and confusion when responding to questions.

I am really looking forward to seeing McCain and Obama together on stage for the first time tonight. This should give everyone a chance to see how past-the-expiration date McCain really is.

Reading some of the messages on here makes me wonder about the core values of the posters who seem to have socialist tendencies. They take the side of America's enemies and voice support for actions against the interests of the United States, hiding behind a stated dislike for the current administration but in their words you can read a desire to end the basic values and beliefs that are the underpinnings of America.

Mexas Obamaton Gets Lesson in Free Speech Source: Houston Chronicle [07/24/08]

Proving that everything we’ve said about Messiah Barry’s deranged Obamatons is true, Chynethia Gregg plummeted off the deep end, when she saw the bumper sticker decorating Doug and Wendy McKain’s pickup truck. Our Obamaton took one look at the sticker of a tyke taking a piss on the name ‘Obama’, and lost her cool.

Unwilling to let it slide, she followed the McKain’s home, then started to do what comes much too easily to Obamatons. She accused the couple of racism, then got down to issuing threats:

McKain told [Sugar Land police officer H. Norris that] he and his wife were driving home when they noticed a female motorist looking closely at his truck. The couple drove home then pulled into their driveway.

"Mr. McKain said shortly later the same person (Ms. Gragg) pulled up to his residence (blocking his driveway behind his truck.) Mr. McKain said Ms. Gragg began to rant and rave about the sticker on the back of his truck," the court document states.

McKain told police Gragg shouted numerous profanities at him and his wife. "Mr. McKain said Ms. Gragg said she (would) get someone to take care of him later," the report said. (Chronicle)

The good news is that the cops bagged, tagged and dragged the raving Obamaton maniac to jail for ‘making a terroristic threat’. The bad news is that the Messiah Barry worshiping intellectual flatliner made bail and is back out on the streets.

Got a comment on an old post today:

As one of the persons you choose to single out and post my comments here, let me say this, now 10 months later. It has been determined that there absolutely were no WMDs. It has been proven there is NO al-qaeda link. Bush's invasion has provided a spawning ground now for new terrorists to unite and train. Republicans are now turning on Bush's decision to go in. The 12 yr old mass murders were all financed and approved by the US 1029 US men have been killed, 7000+ maimed. For WHAT? To get rid of an impotent dictator? The 12 yr old mass murders were all financed and approved by the US

That's a new one to me. I wonder how they got it past the Budget Office. Miscellaneous Expenses, perhaps?

Another point you may have missed is where she calls Saddam "an impotent dictator." Does this mean that the folks at the DU keep track of the sexual potency of all the world's leaders? I wish I'd known sooner--I could have forwarded him all that V1agra spam I've been getting for years!

The Cuban Missile Crisis, October 18-29, 1962
After weathering the failed Bay of Pigs invasion by CIA-backed Cuban exiles in 1961, Castro observed as U.S. armed forces staged a mock invasion of a Caribbean island in 1962. The purpose of the invasion was to overthrow a leader whose name, Ortsac, was Castro spelled backwards. Although Ortsac was a fictitious name, Castro "got the message" and soon became convinced that the U.S. was serious about invading Cuba. Sensing an opportunity to gain a strategic foothold in America's "back yard," Khrushchev eagerly extended an offer of assistance to the desperate Cuban general. The Soviet Premier offered Castro new trade opportunities, to ease the effects of U.S. sanctions, and a promise of protection from U.S. hostilities. The cozy alliance which ensued between Castro and Khrushchev laid the ground for what culminated in a Soviet missile base in Cuba and ended in the Cuban missile crisis.

It would seem that Fidel was acting in a defensive manner. After all, he would be crazy to attack the United States, even with Russia's OK.

RAHN: Oil and oily politicians

By Richard W. Rahn in the Washington Times

Oil reserves are largely a function of price. Global proven reserves of conventional oil obtainable at prices of less than $40 per barrel are estimated at more than 1.3 trillion barrels, with much of it concentrated in the Middle East. Additionally, reserves of so called “heavy oil,” the largest reserves of which are in Venezuela’s Orinoco area, are estimated at 1.2 trillion barrels, and most of this could probably be recovered for less than $50 per barrel.

The reserves of oil sands, which are actively being mined in Canada’s Alberta Province, are estimated to be 1.8 trillion barrels. Experts estimate that much of this can be produced for $45 per barrel or less. Global reserves of oil shale are estimated at more than 3.3 trillion barrels, with 70 percent in the United States (primarily in Colorado, Utah and Wyoming).

Shell Oil Co. last year announced it has developed a process for extracting the oil from the shale, without mining, at a price of roughly $35 per barrel. The United States also has the world’s largest reserves of coal - enough for hundreds of years of production at present levels. Coal also can be turned into liquid petroleum (as the Germans and South Africans proved decades ago). Current estimates of the conversion cost are as low as $35 per barrel.

Does it seem a bit odd that the current price of oil is more than twice the cost of producing all the oil the world presently needs and will need long into the future? The reason the price is so high is that the supply has been artificially constrained by governments. Most (88 percent) of the conventional oil reserves are owned by governments, and these governments have underinvested in new production. As is well-known, the U.S. government has restricted offshore and onshore drilling, shale development, and coal conversion.

Some politicians argue, even if the U.S. government started to allow increased production, that it would be seven to 10 years or more before there would be additional output. This is nonsense. Oil wells can be drilled at an average rate of 1,000 feet or so per day, which means that the average U.S. well can be drilled in a week. It does take a few weeks to set up the pump and install the separation tanks, etc., but new land wells can be producing within months, even if the product has to be trucked rather than piped away.

The very same politicians who claim we cannot increase oil production quickly are often the same ones who tell us we need to move to alternative forms - windmills and solar, etc. - without seeming to understand these desirable technologies will take far more time to meet the goals of “energy independence” than ramping up oil production. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said she would not allow a vote on more drilling because she wanted “to save the planet,” without seeming to understand, if increased oil production does not take place in the United States with all its environmental safeguards, it will take place where U.S. environmental law cannot be enforced - and that is not healthy for the planet.

Colorado Sees Flood Warnings, Snow and Record Cold

The AP in the Denver Post

Heavy rains have prompted flood watches and advisories on Colorado’s eastern plains and snow has closed Loveland Pass in the mountains west of Denver. The National Weather Service has issued a flood warning for the Arkansas River in La Junta and the Purgatoire River near Las Animas in southeastern Colorado.

In the mountains, the Colorado Department of Transportation has closed Loveland Pass because of snow and ice and is requiring chains on commercial vehicles on the westbound approach to the Eisenhower Tunnel.

Also Denver set a new record low high of 59 yesterday, breaking the old record of 68 degress set 129 years ago in 1880. It looks like today will also set a record low high. It only reached 49 yesterday in Chyenne, tying the record low high for the month set on August 28, 1892.

Oceanic Dead Zones Continue to Spread
Fertilizer runoff and fossil-fuel use lead to massive areas in the ocean with scant or no oxygen, killing large swaths of sea life and causing hundreds of millions of dollars in damage

By David Biello

More bad news for the world's oceans: Dead zones—areas of bottom waters too oxygen depleted to support most ocean life—are spreading, dotting nearly the entire east and south coasts of the U.S. as well as several west coast river outlets.

According to a new study in Science, the rest of the world fares no better—there are now 405 identified dead zones worldwide, up from 49 in the 1960s—and the world's largest dead zone remains the Baltic Sea, whose bottom waters now lack oxygen year-round.

Click here to see a map of dead zones around the world.

This is no small economic matter. A single low-oxygen event (known scientifically as hypoxia) off the coasts of New York State and New Jersey in 1976 covering a mere 385 square miles (1,000 square kilometers) of seabed ended up costing commercial and recreational fisheries in the region more than $500 million. As it stands, roughly 83,000 tons (75,000 metric tons) of fish and other ocean life are lost to the Chesapeake Bay dead zone each year—enough to feed half the commercial crab catch for a year.

"More than 212,000 metric tons [235,000 tons] of food is lost to hypoxia in the Gulf of Mexico," says marine biologist Robert Diaz of The College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va., who surveyed the dead zones along with marine ecologist Rutger Rosenberg of the University of Gothenburg in Sweden. "That's enough to feed 75 percent of the average brown shrimp harvest from the Louisiana gulf. If there was no hypoxia and there was that much more food, don't you think the shrimp and crabs would be happier? They would certainly be fatter."

Only a few dead zones have ever recovered, such as the Black Sea, which rebounded quickly in the 1990s with the collapse of the Soviet Union and a massive reduction in fertilizer runoff from fields in Russia and Ukraine. Fertilizer contains large amounts of nitrogen, and it runs off of agricultural fields in water and into rivers, and eventually into oceans.

This fertilizer runoff, instead of contributing to more corn or wheat, feeds massive algae blooms in the coastal oceans. This algae, in turn, dies and sinks to the bottom where it is consumed by microbes, which consume oxygen in the process. More algae means more oxygen-burning, and thereby less oxygen in the water, resulting in a massive flight by those fish, crustaceans and other ocean-dwellers able to relocate as well as the mass death of immobile creatures, such as clams or other bottom-dwellers. And that's when the microbes that thrive in oxygen-free environments take over, forming vast bacterial mats that produce hydrogen sulfide, a toxic gas.

"The primary culprit in marine environments is nitrogen and, nowadays, the biggest contributor of nitrogen to marine systems is agriculture. It's the same scenario all over the world," Diaz says. "Farmers are not doing it on purpose. They'd prefer to have it stick on the land."

In addition to fertilizers, the other primary culprit is the consumption of fossil fuels. Burning gasoline and diesel results in smog-forming nitrogen oxides, which subsequently clear when rain washes the nitrogen out of the sky and, ultimately, into the ocean.

Technological improvements, such as electric or hydrogen cars, could solve that problem but the agricultural question is trickier. "Nitrogen is very slippery; it's very difficult to keep it on land," Diaz notes. "We need to find a technology to keep nitrogen from leaving the soil."

Or farmers can reduce the overall amount of nitrogen required by employing new biotechnologies, such as the nitrogen use efficiency (NUE) improvements offered by Arcadia Biosciences. By engineering crops to overexpress a gene that allows roots to absorb more nitrogen, Arcadia scientists have shown that "it's possible for NUE crops to produce the same yield with half as much fertilizer," president and CEO, Eric Rey, says. "In canola, we saw a two-thirds reduction."

Seeds bearing the technology have already been licensed to agricultural giants Monsanto Company and Dupont's Pioneer Hi-Bred International in the case of canola and corn, respectively—and even grass seed from Scotts Miracle-Gro Company may one day employ it. Although field trials over the last four years have proved the genetic changes effectiveness, further testing and government approval means that such crops will not be grown before 2012.

"It's a big economic benefit for farmers if they use only half as much nitrogen as well a big beneficial impact on nitrogen runoff into waterways," says Rey, who hopes that this product will be adopted as quickly as herbicide-resistant crops, which only took five years from introduction in 1998 to become nearly 70 percent of the corn grown in the U.S., and is now nearly 90 percent. "A reasonable expectation is that there would be a dramatic reduction, maybe by 2018."

But that still might not solve the dead zone problem. So much nitrogen is now reaching these coastal waters that much of it ends up buried in sediment, Diaz says, even when new nitrogen sources are removed those sediments release that nitrogen over time, perpetuating the cycle.

That inability to recover is driven not only by the nitrogen buried in the sediment but also by water layers that don't mix with one another, despite the massive flow of rivers like the Mississippi. Instead, warmer, fresher water on the surface sits on top of cooler, denser, saltier water and it takes the energy of multiple powerful hurricanes to blend the two.

For example, as Hurricane Katrina bore down on the Louisiana coast with its powerful winds blowing faster than 130 miles (210 kilometers) per hour, the monstrous tropical storm delivered a benefit: it mixed the warm, oxygen-rich surface waters with the colder, almost oxygen-free waters beneath, dispelling the largest dead zone in the U.S. for a time. Hurricane Rita followed and finished the work, ending early the seasonal dead zone that forms each year at the mouth of the Mississippi.

That dead zone—which last year stretched over roughly 8,500 square miles (22,000 square kilometers), an area the size of New Jersey, and is predicted to grow even more extensive in 2008, thanks to the early summer floods—forms because of the rich load of nitrogen and phosphorus the Mississippi carries down from the farm fields of the U.S. Midwest.

Hoping for hurricanes is neither popular nor sensible, so scientists in the Baltic Sea nations, desperate for solutions, are considering so-called geoengineering options: large-scale human interventions into natural systems. In this case, air would be bubbled into some of the smaller bays to assess what happens. "If you look at agricultural ponds, you can aerate them to prevent low oxygen," Diaz says. "But that's a pond. We're talking about open systems with tides. The water doesn't just stay there."

Ultimately, it may take revolutions in agriculture and transportation, along with the energy of hurricanes to bring life back to dead zones. "If you can't mix a dead zone with the energy of a hurricane," Diaz adds, "I don't see how geoengineering is going to do it."

Two men who claim to have stumbled across a Bigfoot corpse in the woods of northern Minnesota indignantly stood by their story at a news conference in Ass Wipe during which they offered an e-mail from a scientist as evidence and acknowledged they wouldn't mind making a few bucks from the "find" they have kept stuffed in a freezer for over a month.
The two men who said their names were Sally and Dan tried to prove the heap of maggot infested hair and flesh they had in their fridge was the long sought after Sasquach. DNA testing revealed the heap to be none other than Sally's mother who had expired after her son crazy glued her lips to the exhaust pipe of his 1983 Oldsmobile. Both were led off in cuffs while ranting about how it was all the fault of illegal aliens.

NEO-CONS ARE SICK SUM BITCHES!

What are the roots of neoconservative beliefs?
The original neocons were a small group of mostly Jewish liberal intellectuals who, in the 1960s and 70s, grew disenchanted with what they saw as the American left's social excesses and reluctance to spend adequately on defense. Many of these neocons worked in the 1970s for Democratic Senator Henry "Scoop" Jackson, a staunch anti-communist. By the 1980s, most neocons had become Republicans, finding in President Ronald Reagan an avenue for their aggressive approach of confronting the Soviet Union with bold rhetoric and steep hikes in military spending. After the Soviet Union's fall, the neocons decried what they saw as American complacency. In the 1990s, they warned of the dangers of reducing both America's defense spending and its role in the world.

Unlike their predecessors, most younger neocons never experienced being left of center. They've always been "Reagan" Republicans.

What is the difference between a neoconservative and a conservative?

Liberals first applied the "neo" prefix to their comrades who broke ranks to become more conservative in the 1960s and 70s. The defectors remained more liberal on some domestic policy issues. But foreign policy stands have always defined neoconservatism. Where other conservatives favored détente and containment of the Soviet Union, neocons pushed direct confrontation, which became their raison d'etre during the 1970s and 80s.

Today, both conservatives and neocons favor a robust US military. But most conservatives express greater reservations about military intervention and so-called nation building. Neocons share no such reluctance. The post 9/11-campaigns against regimes in Afghanistan and Iraq demonstrate that the neocons are not afraid to force regime change and reshape hostile states in the American image. Neocons believe the US must do to whatever it takes to end state-supported terrorism. For most, this means an aggressive push for democracy in the Middle East. LIKE BUSH? CHENEY? RICE? ETC??Even after 9/11, many other conservatives, particularly in the isolationist wing, view this as an overzealous dream with nightmarish consequences.

How have neoconservatives influenced US foreign policy?

Finding a kindred spirit in President Reagan, neocons greatly influenced US foreign policy in the 1980s.

But in the 1990s, neocon cries failed to spur much action. Outside of Reaganite think tanks and Israel's right-wing Likud Party, their calls for regime change in Iraq were deemed provocative and extremist by the political mainstream. With a few notable exceptions, such as President Bill Clinton's decision to launch isolated strikes at suspected terrorist targets in Afghanistan and Sudan in 1998, their talk of preemptive military action was largely dismissed as overkill.

The terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001 moved much of the Bush administration closer than ever to neoconservative foreign policy. Only days after 9/11, one of the top neoconservative think tanks in Washington, the Project for a New American Century, wrote an open letter to President Bush calling for regime change in Iraq. CHENEY, RUMSEFLED, PERLE, WOLFOWITZ, KRISOL.

Neocons envision a world in which the United States is the unchallenged superpower, immune to threats. They believe that the US has a responsibility to act as a "benevolent global hegemon." In this capacity, the US would maintain an empire of sorts by helping to create democratic, economically liberal governments in place of "failed states" or oppressive regimes they deem threatening to the US or its interests. In the neocon dream world the entire Middle East would be democratized in the belief that this would eliminate a prime breeding ground for terrorists. This approach, they claim, is not only best for the US; it is best for the world. In their view, the world can only achieve peace through strong US leadership backed with credible force, not weak treaties to be disrespected by tyrants.

Any regime that is outwardly hostile to the US and could pose a threat would be confronted aggressively, not "appeased" or merely contained. The US military would be reconfigured around the world to allow for greater flexibility and quicker deployment to hot spots in the Middle East, as well as Central and Southeast Asia. The US would spend more on defense, particularly for high-tech, precision weaponry that could be used in preemptive strikes. It would work through multilateral institutions such as the United Nations when possible, but must never be constrained from acting in its best interests whenever necessary.

Even after 9/11, many other conservatives, particularly in the isolationist wing, view this as an overzealous dream with nightmarish consequences.

Good afternoon, all.

I'm back from canvassing a heavily Republican upper middle class neighborhoold. They do have good manner overall. And some said they were going to vote for the person not the Party this time.

Oveall, I think they were a little amused. However, some seemed glad to see us. It never hurts to make a few cold calls on folks who are no longer happy with the service they are getting from their current suppliers.

And I found a few Democrats. I think they had been Reagan Democrats and are now relieved that there is a sane alternative...or they were Irish Catholics and feel guilty for what the Republicans have done to this country and the next generation.

Can't say that rubbing shoulders with the upper crust (or at least those who aspire to it) wasn't interesting. I was even offered a margarita at one home that was having a pool party. Alas, I still had a few more streets to walk (actually private streets with long, long driveways) so I declined.

I didn't met one Republican man who wasn't coridal if not outright nice and only two hostile Republican women. One seemed upset that we were running such a good candidate for governor.

The other snooty lady acted like she didn't know what planet I was from...actually just the other side of the same suburban city. Our kids have probably gone to school together or played on the same youth sports teams at one time. We both probably voted against the same incompetent mayor last election.

She obviously had no idea that Democrats lived in her vicinity and shop at the same stores. I guess she'll have to move...to Paraguay?

Global Warming Battle Heats Up

»
by: Matthew Blake, The Washington Independent

Whistleblower helps build case against EPA chief.

Four Democratic senators demanded late last month that the head of the Environmental Protection Agency must go. Their call for EPA Administrator Stephen Johnson's resignation - after eight months of looking into his actions as agency chief - is largely due to Jason K. Burnett, Johnson's former deputy in developing global warming policy.

Since resigning in May as the No. 3 official at EPA, Burnett has helped congressional investigators build a compelling case that the White House strong-armed Johnson into denying California a waiver to police greenhouse gas tailpipe emissions and also stopped the EPA from setting a national greenhouse gas standard.

In stepping forward - no one has directly challenged his statements - Burnett, 31, has won over Johnson's many critics in Congress.

GOP Crying Foul Over Law It Passed

by: Alan Johnson, The Columbus Dispatch

In trying to close a brief window that will allow simultaneous voter registration and absentee voting, Ohio Republicans are engaging in "blatant voter suppression," a leading legal expert on voting said yesterday.

"This is exactly what the law says and what it allows," said Daniel Tokaji, a professor at the Ohio State University Moritz College of Law. "If the Republicans are trying to close the window, they would be violating the law they wrote."

Tokaji, a frequent critic of Ohio Secretary of State Jennifer Brunner, said she is "absolutely right on this one. ... It could be the best thing she's done in office."

Partisan battle lines are being drawn over Brunner's directive to county boards of elections, clarifying that state law allows a five-day overlap during which Ohioans can register to vote and vote by absentee ballot at the same time.

The "no-fault absentee" voting law has been in place since 2005, when it was passed by the Republican-controlled General Assembly and signed by GOP Gov. Bob Taft.

Pam,

I hear the global warming debate is really heating up within the evangelical community...just like the abortion debate. The old timers are meeting resistence from the younger pastors and their flocks.

I've never been able to understand how those who follow the Old Testament so closely could over look the lesson taught by the story of Noah and the Ark. And how those that genuinely look closely at the life of Christ could be so judgmental and condemning.

But then I'm on the outside of that community. But I've had to deal with the crazies within the Bishops of the Catholic Church. That's another story entirely and has you scratching your head trying to figure out what those old men are thinking. The pedifile priest thing crys out for more supervision by women within the Church.

Times awasting. Off to the mower and sprinklers.

Well Pam, you are half right in that the oil and natural gas pipeline running through Georgia has a great strategic value but mostly to western Europe. If Russia holds the power to raise tariffs on fuel transferred via those lines or even worse shut them off to punish Europe it would not be good for their economies.

As far as Georgia, at US request, staging this all I have to call into question your sources for such information as that wouldn't be something you would be privy to. Of course, since you don't have any valid sources by which you can claim such astounding statements as truth, what you are putting forth is hearsay (as in your hear yourself say it) and wild theory. Neither is valid.

Good evening, all.

Cate,

The Georgian attack was an August surprise alright. It surprised the Republicans how quickly the Russians could recipricate.

And it also surprised the Republicans how fast the American people ruled out getting involved.

They might trick some of the sheep into feeling sorry for these reckless Georgian idiots, but they're not going to get on the bandwagon to start WW III. The pity stops at the Russian border.

If McCain continues to place himself in the middle of Georgia, he's going to make people wonder why? It just dredges up Randy Scheunemann's PNAC connection and Georgian lobbyist roots.

Instead of making McCain look like a "better" president than Bush, it just drags up the lobbyist question. Does he want to be president of the American people or Georgia?

Does he really want to make the Bush Crime Family and thus the whole incumbent Republican Congressional contingent look bad? The GOP have just about had enough of The Maverick and his superiority complex.

If this is the August/October surprise, the surprise is all on McCain. He's got himself deeply involved in yet another losing neocon proposition...just like Bush. And he's pissing off the Republican Base, too.

Not bad for a delusional meglomaniac...with memory problems. Throw him a fish.

Hey, the Georgians had all the Freedom they needed to act like idiots. They self determined all by themselves that they wanted to be Cheney's patsies.

It's not the Russians' fault that they saw it coming and were waiting. Anyone with an ounce of sense would not believe any promises made by the Bush Crime Family.

Here's a question for you: Who has ever dared to make Spunky look weak and prospered from it?

McCain is skating on thin ice. Lesley Graham on even thinner ice. Cheney is going to use them as the fall guys if this crisis continues to look like a blunder.

I wouldn't be surprised if that wasn't part of the plan either.

Make no mistaken fellow dems, Russia is no longer an allie of the US or Western Europe but instead now under the iron grip of Putin who intends to rebuild it into a next generation of the Soviet machine.

No romantic Sandy, I am a realist. There was a time but a brief one, where Russia had the appearance of an ally to the west. There was hope that after the collapse of the Soviet government a shift towards a more democratic type of government might occur but since Putin that hope is gone.

No freakin' romantic but I am not cheering Putin on like some on here.

War crimes and genocide are nothing new to cheney and bush.

On the night of 7/8 August, Georgian Armed Forces (backed by the USA) murdered 2.000 civilians in South Ossetia. This treacherous act of mass murder has been totally ignored in the western press and by the US leadership. We therefore present photographic evidence for the benefit of George Bush and Condoleeza Rice. Maybe now they will start mentioning the Georgian war crimes that started this sorry episode.

Mikhail Saakashvili announced a ceasefire on 7th August. While doing so, his armed forces were getting ready to push into South Ossetia, a Republic that should have had a referendum back in 1991, under the Soviet Constitution, upon the secession of Georgia, for its people to vote freely and fairly on autonomy. Georgia did not respect its legal obligation.

Why have George Bush and Condoleeza Rice given their unconditional backing to the war criminal and mass murderer Mikhail Saakashvili? To what extent were the US military advisors envolved in this savage act of murder? How to explain the American English voices heard among the fleeing and panic-stricken defeated military forces once Russia entered the fray?

The photos we present here are proof of what happened. The camera does not lie.

Has the reader seen these photos published elsewhere? Has the reader heard the leaders of the USA refer one single time to these war crimes?

Or has the reader heard George Bush and Condoleeza Rice repeat time and time again the same message, supporting Georgia’s leadership, and tacitly giving their approval to this act of butchery?

I truly believed in 2000 that Putin was leading Russia toward friendship and cooperation with the United States. Putin was working with us in oil exploration in the old Soviet satellite countries.

I also felt that we were becoming more friendly with Iran. They offered help immediately after 9/11 and bush told them to go to hell.

bush did the same thing during the Katrina atrocity. He refused foreign help from Venezuela.

Notice that these are all bush's "Axis of Evil" countries. bush and rasputin have destroyed our standing around the world with their cowboy diplomacy and no diplomacy at all when it came to North Korea, Iran and Venezuela.

The election of the Georgian President was questionable also, as has been some of his tactics, like shutting down news organizations, namely fox's sister station. This is why we need a national peace keeping force you can't believe bush and your can't believe putin either - they both are equally evil.

9/11 Panel Links Al Qaeda, Iran Bin Laden May Have Part in Khobar Towers, Report Says

By Dan Eggen
Washington Post Staff Writer
Saturday, June 26, 2004; Page A12

While it found no operational ties between al Qaeda and Iraq, the commission investigating the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks has concluded that Osama bin Laden's terrorist network had long-running contacts with Iraq's neighbor and historic foe, Iran.

Al Qaeda, the commission determined, may even have played a "yet unknown role" in aiding Hezbollah militants in the 1996 bombing of the Khobar Towers complex in Saudi Arabia, an attack the United States has long blamed solely on Hezbollah and its Iranian sponsors.

The notion that bin Laden may have had a hand in the Khobar bombing would mark a rare operational alliance between Sunni and Shiite Muslim groups that have historically been at odds. That possibility, largely overlooked in the furor of new revelations released by the commission last week, comes amid worsening relations between the United States and Iran, which announced on Thursday that it would resume building equipment necessary for a nuclear weapons program.

The Sept. 11 panel's findings on Iran have been eclipsed by the continuing political debate over Iraq, which the commission said had not developed a "collaborative relationship" with al Qaeda despite limited contacts in the 1990s. That appeared to conflict with previous characterizations made by President Bush, Vice President Cheney and other administration officials in their justifications for launching the war against Saddam Hussein.

In relation to Iran, commission investigators said intelligence "showed far greater potential for collaboration between Hezbollah and al Qaeda than many had previously thought." Iran is a primary sponsor of Hezbollah, or Party of God, the Lebanon-based anti-Israel group that has been designated a terrorist organization by the United States.

The commission's Republican chairman, former New Jersey governor Thomas H. Kean, also said in a television appearance last week that "there were a lot more active contacts, frankly, with Iran and with Pakistan than there were with Iraq."

But perhaps most startling was the commission's finding that bin Laden may have played a role in the Khobar attack. Although previous court filings and testimony indicated that al Qaeda and Iranian elements had contacts during the 1990s, U.S. authorities have not publicly linked bin Laden or his operatives to that strike, which killed 19 U.S. servicemen. A June 2001 indictment of 14 defendants in the case makes no mention of al Qaeda or bin Laden and lays the organizational blame for the attacks solely on Hezbollah and Iran.

Bruce Hoffman, a terrorism expert who heads the Washington office of Rand Corp., said that although bin Laden's then-fledgling group was an early suspect in the blasts, "the evidence kept pointing to an Iranian connection, so people tended to discount a bin Laden connection."

"What the commission report is raising is that the relationship might have been much tighter and was in fact operational and not just spiritual," Hoffman said.

U.S. officials who have worked on the Khobar case are more skeptical. A law enforcement source with knowledge of the case, who declined to be identified because of the ongoing criminal investigation, said authorities searched carefully for an al Qaeda connection but found no basis for it.

The broader notion of links between bin Laden's group and Hezbollah or hard-line elements in Iran's security forces has been a hot topic in U.S. law enforcement and intelligence circles for years. Many analysts have viewed such an alliance as dubious, largely because of ancient animosities between Shiite and Sunni Muslims. Several leaders of al Qaeda, a Sunni organization, have issued rabidly anti-Shiite proclamations.

Nonetheless, the United States previously compiled evidence of limited contacts between Iranian interests and al Qaeda. U.S. officials alleged that Iran was harboring al Qaeda militants who had fled neighboring Afghanistan after the U.S. invasion there.

Iran has denied that al Qaeda was operating from its territory, and announced earlier this year that it would put on trial a dozen suspected members of the terrorist group.

The original U.S. indictment of bin Laden, filed in 1998, said al Qaeda "forged alliances . . . with the government of Iran and its associated terrorist group Hezbollah for the purpose of working together against their perceived common enemies in the West, particularly the United States."

Since when does freedom mean suppressing the truth and supporting lies in order to support the country. That my friend is what a dictatorship is. America is best when people question it's leaders not blindly follow, believe, and support anything they say. Blind Faith is for God not Politicians, especially not Presidents and that is what true patriotism looks like CactASS.

I'm for manufacturing jobs in America, your party, the republicans, passed CAFTA giving jobs to communists. Your party, the republicans, want you to believe, as you do, that that is free markets. Only commie lovers would give US jobs to commies. You CactASS should be more concerned about the poisen you eat everyday from commies that your commie party, the republicans, don't want to label the country of origin on the food. Your party loves the commies. You are much more likely to be poisened by a commie than bombed by a terrorist. Grow one CactASS.

True patriots question freely their governments. In your world, Cactass, it is unamerican to question America or its president. To most people that would be a dictatorship, but not to you commie lover. Blind faith in your government is what commies do. Save your blind faith for god, not politicians CactASS.

The republican party are true commie lovers as they gave American jobs to commies and call it free markets. Republicans slash Consumer product safety's budget, soo communist to protect american people, in favor of looking the other way when commies ship poisenous food, toys and goods to the US. Only the commie loving republican party would propose and pass CAFTA. Only the commie republican party doesn't want to label food with the country of origin. Republicans are the Commies but their blind, devoted followers, like CactASS, are a bunch of bobble heads that don't know what real threats look like.

A simmering conflict between Georgia and Russia erupted on 7 August when Georgia launched an assault to retake its Russian-backed separatist province of South Ossetia.

U.S. President George W. Bush warned Russia Saturday that it cannot lay claim to the two separatist regions in U.S.-backed Georgia even though their sympathies lie with Moscow. "There is no room for debate on this matter," the president, with Rice, told reporters at his Texas ranch.

http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/08/16/world/main4355768.shtml

So this is not about what the people want. The people there want to be part of Russia. Georgia is part of the group who is trying to keep them part of Georgia against their will. So much for the GOP fighting for freedom.

129
Chicago on August 17, 2008 at 12:04 AM

Check this out. They have a picture where she really looks evil. Maybe she is pissed because
cheney and rove set her up to look stupid.

Has the US Secretary of State got her cassette stuck? For a week now she has been reiterating the same phrase “Russian forces must leave Georgia now” and for a week now the world has been informed of Georgian war crimes against Russians in Ossetia. The war crimes happened, the Russians call the shots now, Ms. Rice. Like it or lump it.

Is Condoleeza Rice stupid? OK her boss is, we all know that and that’s why nobody pays any attention to what he says or if they do, it is to have a good laugh at how such an imbecile could supposedly rule the roost in Washington (when everyone knows it is Cheney and his energy and arms lobbies). So Bush gets a discount, like the uncle that farts at family dinners, like the retarded nephew who belches swearwords after his third litre of Coke, like the simpleton that sits outside the church on Sundays begging for money informing everyone that he is an astronaut on Thursday afternoons.

Is Condoleeza Rice stupid? She claims to be a Russian expert but her command of the language was recently exposed as being basic/elementary level on a Russian radio programme, just as her grasp of what is going on in Russia today seems beneath the informed blogger level.

Is Condoleeza Rice stupid? How can this female purport to broker events between an evil regime in Tblisi supported by her own evil regime in Washington, and Russia, while not mentioning one single time the war crimes committed by Georgia against Russian peacekeepers and civilians?

So we come to the conclusion that she is either stupid, or incompetent, or downright evil. If she didn’t know about Georgia’s war crimes, when everyone else did, she is incompetent (as she proved as National Security Advisor during 9/11). If she knows about the war crimes and fails to mention them, as Secretary of State, she is plain stupid and if she purposefully covers them up, maybe because her own armed forces were involved, then she is one evil piece of work, as many of us suspected all along.

Is Condoleeza Rice stupid? Or incompetent? Or just plain evil?

Is Condoleeza Rice stupid?

If she was not evil, she would have informed them of the true events and exposed Bush/Cheney/McLame as the manipulators they are.

The Moral Issue

By Norm Kalmanovitch

I have spent the last 3 days driving back to Calgary from Montreal which has given me the opportunity to ponder the reality of this whole issue (of man-made global warming). Our letter to the UN demonstrates that this is not an issue of science but a moral issue of self serving individuals imposing their ideology on the world under the guise of environmentalism and this has caused nothing but hardship for the entire world.

It is not about science because the globe is cooling and CO2 is increasing falsifying the hypothesis. It is not about reducing fossil fuel consumption because biofuels do not increase the energy supply but in fact require more energy than they produce. Sequestering CO2 is also a negative with respect to energy because the compression of CO2 to 30 atmospheres requires the energy equivalent of about 5000bbls for each megatonne sequestered.

It is not about the environment because CO2 is not a pollutant and this issue focuses primarily on reducing CO2 and totally ignores the actual pollution from fossil fuels as is clearly demonstrated by the current state of the air quality in Beijing which has resulted primarily from coal fired power plants that have no pollution controls. It is not about economics because unlike the premise of the Stern Report that states economic
benefit to addressing human caused global warming now as opposed to the cost of dealing with its consequences, there is no human caused global warming to address so there are no consequences of human caused global warming to face in the future.

Like it or not the global economy is based on energy. The countries with the highest energy consumption are the economic leaders and those with the lowest are the poorest countries. All of the global temperature datasets show that the world has cooled since 2002. In 2002 the oil price was $27.60/bbl; in the last month it has peaked to over $145.00/bbl. By 2002 the warmers realized that the global thermometers were not supporting their agenda and they stepped up the rhetoric about impending disasters and vilified CO2 as a pollutant and the source of this problem. The most significant consequence of this attack on CO2 was to make new coal fired power generation an uneconomic venture because “clean coal” now required sequestering CO2 which increases the cost by at least 3 times. Effectively this removes coal as a competitive energy source and with nuclear energy already in the environmental bad books there is no competitive alternative to oil and therefore no price control. Without this control, speculators can take advantage of every rumor about possible threats to the oil supply and drive up the price of oil to its current level with no energy alternative providing a ceiling cap to the price.

HARROLD, Texas — A tiny Texas school district may be the first in the nation to allow teachers and staff to pack guns for protection when classes begin later this month, a newspaper reported.

Trustees at the Harrold Independent School District approved a district policy change last October so employees can carry concealed firearms to deter and protect against school shootings, provided the gun-toting teachers follow certain requirements.

In order for teachers and staff to carry a pistol, they must have a Texas license to carry a concealed handgun; must be authorized to carry by the district; must receive training in crisis management and hostile situations and have to use ammunition that is designed to minimize the risk of ricochet in school halls.

Superintendent David Thweatt said the small community is a 30-minute drive from the sheriff's office, leaving students and teachers without protection. He said the district's lone campus sits 500 feet from heavily trafficked U.S. 287, which could make it a target.

"When the federal government started making schools gun-free zones, that's when all of these shootings started. Why would you put it out there that a group of people can't defend themselves? That's like saying 'sic 'em' to a dog," Thweatt said in Friday's online edition of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

Thweatt said officials researched the policy and considered other options for about a year before approving the policy change. He said the district also has various other security measures in place to prevent a school shooting.

"The naysayers think (a shooting) won't happen here. If something were to happen here, I'd much rather be calling a parent to tell them that their child is OK because we were able to protect them," Thweatt said.

Texas law outlaws firearms on school campuses "unless pursuant to the written regulations or written authorization of the institution."

It was unclear how many of the 50 or so teachers and staff members will be armed this fall because Thweatt did not disclose that information, to keep it from students or potential attackers. Wilbarger County Sheriff Larry Lee was out of the office Thursday and did not immediately return a phone call seeking comment, the newspaper said.

Barbara Williams, a spokeswoman for the Texas Association of School Boards, said her organization did not know of another district with such a policy. Ken Trump, a Cleveland-based school security expert who advises districts nationwide, including in Texas, said Harrold is the first district with such a policy.

The 110-student district is 150 miles northwest of Fort Worth on the eastern end of Wilbarger County, near the Oklahoma border

Does evil exist, and if so, do we ignore it, do we negotiate with it, do we contain it, or do we defeat it?

Obama: "...A lot of evil has been perpetrated in the claim that we were trying to confront evil."

He's not talking about another country there. He's talking about the US perpetrating evil.

Does evil exist, and if so, do we ignore it, do we negotiate with it, do we contain it, or do we defeat it?

McCain: Defeat it.

I am beginning to like McCain. He is beginning to realize that their have been no non wartime Presidents who governed as liberals and were declared good Presidents. (i.e. Johnson Carter) Kennedy was a conservative and Clinton a moderate.

McCain kicked Hussein Obama's ass in that Rick Warren fiasco. Hussein came off as a wishwashy phony whilst McCain was decisive and firm.

evil theme, anyone? (becuase I'm feeling a little Lucy today)

1 Samuel 16:16 Let our lord now command thy servants, which are before thee, to seek out a man, who is a cunning player on an harp: and it shall come to pass, when the evil spirit from God is upon thee, that he shall play with his hand, and thou shalt be well.

18:10 And it came to pass on the morrow, that the evil spirit from God came upon Saul, and he prophesied in the midst of the house: and David played with his hand, as at other times: and there was a javelin in Saul's hand.

19:9 And the evil spirit from the LORD was upon Saul, as he sat in his house with his javelin in his hand: and David played with his hand.

God created Evil spirits;

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Was sent by God;

Judges 9:23 Then God sent an evil spirit between Abimelech and the men of Shechem; and the men of Shechem dealt treacherously with Abimelech:

We had a good lightning storm and rain last night. Our dogs were scared stiff.

I am glad your life is better. Keep up the good fight.

Morning gregg,

I have been trying to plant a gate post in concrete for about a week now but it has been either windy or rainy. Yesterday I finally got one planted. I am doing the next one today.

I bought these fancy gates with two automatic openers. One set is for my driveway and the other set is for my orchard. The gates are really upscale and look great out in the middle of nowhere. The drive gate has a solar panel.

164
Johne on August 17, 2008 at 08:10 AM

I bought a long range transmitter and can open the gates 600 feet away from my veranda.

i find it sad that the presidential candidates have to "prove" their faith in christian theology in order to get elected. what are those of us who don't follow such faith suppose to think has happened to our country? i want a president who doesn't depend on mysticism to know right from wrong or to fashion a national agenda. i doubt very much that either obama or mcsame believe as strongly as they are insisting in the existence of god, they are most likely skeptical agnostics who use church attendance to placate voters who are looking to get to paradise someday. we would all be better off with leaders who were focused on creating paradise here on earth...

This is very interesting. Why are we protecting British pipelines? It seems that one was damaged by fire and not by the godless Russians as bush claims.

"British oil company BP PLC says it has resumed pumping gas into a pipeline that runs through Georgia, while two oil pipelines that also run through the country remain closed.

BP says it began pumping gas into the Baku-Tbilisi-Erzurum pipeline earlier Thursday. It had stopped pumping gas into the pipeline on Tuesday because of security fears.

BP's Baku-Supsa oil pipeline - also shut down on Tuesday - remains closed as the company continues to assess the security situation.

The larger Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan line remains out of action after a fire earlier this month on the Turkish section of the line. BP says that engineers are still trying to review the damage and no time has been set for the reopening of that line.

We have about 2 acres contained in barbed wire and need a gate to keep the cattle out. The rest of the property is open range. At first I thought the gate would look ridiculous but now that it is in place it really looks classy. Check out AmazingGates.com,

That really bothers me that Obama is kissing up to these religious freaks. Of course one of the first subjects mentioned was apparently "abortion".

mclame was kissing their collective asses and Obama told the audience that we need to support women with support programs and not just leave them on their own to the wolves. Women are now being forced into abortions because of worries about how they can afford to support them.

Naturally they are going to seek abortion. If abortion is once prohibited, these women will still seek illegal abortions because of their living conditions.

These bastards just don't get it. I was reading that under Clinton, the number of abortions was being reduced because the women received help.

Are these fascist pigs going to put women in jail for having an abortion and letting them starve to death forcing them to have the child. This seems to be their plan.

We need to quit pandering to these morons.

I suppose the subject of stem cell research also came up at this debacle.

171
Johne on August 17, 2008 at 08:35 AM

Occasionally I listen to the religious extremist bates brothers. Their entire political agenda is abortion, stem cell research and killing those nasty Muslims. They couldn't care less about America. They contend that it should be every man for himself and there should be very little federal government. These guys are ignoramuses.

One of these malcontents claims to have a doctorate and claims to be an expert in economics, foreign affairs, etc.,etc. He most likely received his "degree" from regency U.

I can't stand these hateful pricks. The people who call in are also hateful losers who eat up all this bullcrap these two spew every weekday on the air.

johne, that is funny cause once i lived in conn. in a little cabin in the middle of about a thousand acres of open fields that cattle roamed on. sometimes we would wake up and there would be a giant face looking at us in the window. they also liked to chew the remains in the bottom of our barb-q pit which is where we mostly grilled steaks....

Am I the only one but did Obama screw up the big one by walking into the lions den last night? I tried to watch but felt he was totally fake.

Why oh why did he ever think going to the town Hall religious crape last night was gong to bolster his polls? If anything, it only made the religious wackos more into the McSane camp.

I am sickened by what Obama did last night. Big mistake!

The liberals' intolerance by Klaus Rohrich Wednesday, February 8, 2006

Last week I heard some left-wing commentator talk about how "dangerous" the "Religious Right" is and how an overtly Christian agenda has wound its way into conservatism. Hmmm. As a card-carrying member of the vast-right-wing-conspiracy this is news to me. I haven't heard a lot of "God is on our side" rhetoric emanating from my fellow conservatives. But assuming that there are some devout Christians who have gotten interested in politics, so what?

Does having strongly-held religious beliefs automatically disqualify one from participating in a democracy? Well, if you listen to the hysterical rantings of people like Al Franken and Michael Moore, you'd think the Spanish Inquisition was being revived in America because Christians are getting involved in politics.

It's really interesting to note that when some liberal icons, like the famously incompetent former President Jimmy Carter, or the famously incompetent former Vice-President Al Gore, talk about their faith and God, they're transformed into paragons of goodness. Yet According to left/lib orthodoxy conservative Christians pose a grave danger and should be disenfranchised.

See, there is yet another example of liberalism's famous contradictions. You would never hear a liberal say that fundamentalist Muslims, for instance, should barred from voting as they pose a danger to our way of life. Even if they espoused hatred toward Western culture, it's considered their right in a free society. Anyone who would dare suggest that Islam might be a threat to our way of life would be vilified by liberals; yet, they'd take the vote away from Jerry Falwell in a New York minute.

We are all familiar with the Rev. Jessie Jackson and the Rev. Al Sharpton, both of who figure prominently among liberals as outstanding leaders of the civil rights movement. But no one is warning Americans about the dangers of their faith, even if that faith is apparently the same as that of those on the "Religious Right".

What's with that? Is it because the Rev. Jackson, who is famous for putting the bite on American corporations with threats of mass boycotts and using the proceeds to pay off his mistress, is an alleged black civil rights leader? Or is it because Jackson has been given some kind of special dispensation from Chuck Schumer or Ted Kennedy and is therefore an "acceptable" Christian.

The Rev. Sharpton, you may recall, was involved in the Tamara Brawley affair some years ago, which amounted to bearing false witness (a Christian ‘no-no') as the rape that Tamara and the Rev. Sharpton alleged never occurred. Those falsely accused are still waiting for an apology. What makes Sharpton's faith acceptable over George W. Bush's and why is it that no one seems to be able to note the contradictions of the liberals' viewpoint?

It appears that liberals have a built-in filtering mechanism, somewhat like those 3-D glasses they used to give you at the movies that allows them to determine good Christians from bad Christians. I don't think it's a color thing, as that would have sunk former President Jim-ah and I certainly don't think it's a "character" thing, as that would sink both Jackson and Sharpton.

So the only reason to fear conservative Christians would seems to be their belief in "traditional values", which are directly opposed to the radical left's anti-family, pro poly-sexual agenda.

Jimmy Carter seems to constantly be defending America's enemies, among them some individuals whose world views are a hell of a lot scarier than any Christian, while Sharpton and Jackson are working hard to keep African Americans down on the liberal plantation, as it is in their own self-interest for them do so.

Yet those who have a belief system that opposes the cynical nihilism of the left are reviled as iconoclasts and treated like pariahs. What's wrong with this picture?

LIBERAL RACISM AND CONDI RICE By Michelle Malkin • November 17, 2004 03:37 PM

When it comes to minority conservatives, liberal bigotry knows no bounds. Readers of this blog will recall the recent racist scribblings of liberal cartoonists in hoods, Ted Rall and Jeff Danziger.

The great Rush Limbaugh has picked up on this thread, with links to new anti-Rice cartoons. Winfield Myers, who blogs at The Democracy Project, adds more here.

As Dr. Rice’s star rises, expect even uglier attacks. There’s nothing the Left hates more than a “person of color” who is a person of substance and stature and intellect and independence first.

The Liberal Bill of Wrongs

# Liberals supposedly champion the downtrodden, but care nothing for the people who must bear the brunt of their ill-advised and socially- disruptive programs, especially the lower classes. It has been pointed out many times that "compassionate" liberal programs such as welfare have wreaked havoc among the poor, and especially blacks, whose motivation to succeed by their own efforts has been sapped by these programs. What has rarely been mentioned, however, is the fact that liberal programs usually affect the working class adversely while leaving untouched the wealthier classes to which most of the liberals belong. For example, the liberals can usually afford to move to the suburbs and/or send their kids to private school, while the working class cannot, and thus must contend by themselves with the liberal-created devastation and criminality of the inner cities.
# Liberals are fascists. While liberals rightly denounce totalitarianism of the right, they are quite acclimated to similar behavior on the left. From speech codes to economic regulation up the ass, from mandatory seat belts to mandatory integration, liberal fascism lacks only the goose step and the nazi salute.
