Senator Barack Obama Surpasses 2 Million Donors

Senator Barack Obama is running a campaign people-powered campaign:
"It's a positive sign that more people are getting involved in something that for so long has been the province of the very wealthy elite few," said Massie Ritsch, spokesman for the nonpartisan Center for Responsive Politics, which tracks campaign money.
Indeed, Obama's campaign highlights the thousands of small-dollar donors. "Today we achieved something amazing -- 2,000,000 donors owning a piece of this campaign," the message says on Obama's contributor website. "In the face of John McCain's low road tactics, it's more important than ever to keep our movement growing and show the power of millions of grassroots supporters coming together to work for change."

Allenk, Obama stole nothing. If you really cared about the truth you would ask your state to get you a copy of the letter Hillary wrote agreeing that Michigan and Florida should be punished by not having their delegates counted. Her campaign manager Ikes was on the committee that voted to make this happen to begin with. Hillary lost after Iowa, it was the media in their quest to create a story to make more money by sensationalizing the primary and create the illusion that Hillary still had a chance. She did not and she agreed to all of the terms ahead of time. So don't send any money that is fine, but you might not have an issue with Pelosi if Hillary, and other dems in congress, had not voted to give bush the authority to declare war with Iraq.
Allenk, I'm not happy with Pelosi either. We never had the votes in the senate to override bush's veto. I'm very unhappy with her stance on fisa. I'm glad she is holding firm on the oil drilling so far. I think her problem is she tries to guess how the republicans will spin it and is afraid to just stand up and say, "this is the right thing to do" no matter how the repubs spin it.
Senator Barak Obama may ahve surpassed 2,000,000 voters but he will soon pass 250,000 BOPs against McCain's 150,000 BOPs. He better start mobilizing his base.
Politics can still be fun!

Whether the surge worked or not is NOT the issue. We should not have been in Irag in the first place and now we are being forced to endanger more American lives to extricate ourselves from this mess. How many lives were lost in the surge? How many injured?
