ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS
Lots of great words but look at his actual record for the real story...
Pull out of Iraq ?!?!
Perhaps instead the U.S. should pull out of Chicago.
Body count in the last six months: 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago
Body count in the last six months: 221 killed in Iraq
Chicago.... Who Runs it:
Senators: Barack Obama & Dick Durbin (Democrats)
Rep: Jesse Jackson Jr. (Democrat)
Illinois Gov: Rod Blogojevich (Democrat)
Illinois House leader Mike Madigan (Democrat)
Illinois Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike)...you guessed it...Democrat
Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of Mayor Richard J. Daley), Democrat
.....our leadership in Illinois .....all Democrats.
Thank you for the combat zone in Chicago
Of course, they're all blaming each other!
But, they can't blame Republicans; they're aren't any!
More facts...State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country.
Cook County ( Chicago ) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. (Look 'em up if you want).
Chicago school system rated one of the worst in the country (doesn't apply to the suburb I live in where Republicans rule)
This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois .
And he's gonna 'fix' Washington politics for us and get the Iraq situation resolved?
Give me a break!

I don't like the sound of this "citizen security force'? What's with that? Coupled with his continuing support of FISA this is troubling. What happens when the next election comes around? Say a Republican wins and we have a system ripe for Brownshirts and spies. I don't like it.
Hi, Tawanna
New voice you're sporting - much different than the more reasoned on you posted with awhile back.
Cross dressing?
And McNasty's response? He derided the ad as a "gauzy, feel good commercial."
McNasty, who knows how to go after BinLaden but isn't telling anyone his secret plan, chided "The question is whether this is a man who has what it takes to protect America from BinLaden, al-Qaida and the other great threats in the world." Here's a guy who doesn't seem to have plans for anything, what, is he going to on t.v. every night and say nasty things about BinLaden, hoping he'll be pissed off enough at McNuts to come out of his cave?
Gee, back to the old fear factor, economy avoiding, prisoner of war campaign retoric? McNuts' solution is to sit in the White House by the nuclear alternative panic button since he doesn't believe in diplomacy, too hard to do when you're a maverick. But then McNasty would have Palin at his side to give hime advice in a pinch, which should make every fearful American sleep comfortably at night. Oops, better hope nothing happens at night in the middle of McShame's 12 hours of evening rest and recuperations.
Very nicely done. It reminded me of the way the networks used to do those weekly in depth white papers about various issues back in the 60's and 70s.
Obama presented the case for Change in an engaging way by letting middle class Americans explain why it's so necessary. His confidence and earnestness in wanting to serve was only overshadowed by the need of the people who were so worried about their economic situations. It perfectly captured the mood of the country as we approach election day.
It was so well filmed and edited, it was really hard to look away. But they would have watched it anyway, because the American people are so starved for competent public officials.
This presentation gave them the objectives and strategies of the Democratic Middle Class Agenda along with a candidate for the job that is obviously ready for the task of putting them in motion.
I'm glad the campaign stood back and re-examined what they wanted to do. It demonstrated a majority and sense of purpose that those big rallies have not always been able to convey. It was time and money well spent.
If you can't find time to share a half an hour together discussing our future, we really aren't going to have much of one to hand down to our children.
A big thanks for providing this - like many others who had to work, I missed it live and I was looking for it on video because I had heard how good it was. I was not disappointed, again, Obama is able to go with The People and let them honestly share their stories and their feelings in demonstrating so clearly why we need to come back together to change our country for the better now.
Today I voted here in Ohio and I feel good about getting my ballot in early. I walked out of the local board of elections office with a sigh of relief, like a breath of fresh pure clean blue sky air, better healthcare, alternative energy in cars and homes, less pollution, depression, hopelessness, hunger, poverty, crime and misery, new jobs and making ends meet, a stable equal middle class back in affordable housing. It makes sense Oh, yes WE can!!!
Thanks again Matt, it was beautiful to watch! Now let's get out that vote AND TURN OHIO BLUE!
Go Dems Go!!!

"Peace, Hope Prosperity"
Come together sons and daughters
Now’s the time to stand up for this country you love
If you’re a father, like I’m a mother
I will not leave my child the weight of war and despair
Come together all my brothers
Now’s the time to pledge your voices deep from your soul
If you’ve been workin, still it’s not workin
There’s got to be a way to break outta the mold
Peace, Hope Prosperity
No more inequalities
It’s all just too discouraging
To think we’d leave behind such broken dreams
We should respect our elders’ dreams
That all people in this nation
Should be free from all damnation
Live as one, we’re not as different as we seem
We all need love, friends- family
Come together all my sisters
Now’s the time to stand up for those babies you love
If you’re a mother, like I’m a mother
I will not leave the ones I love there out on the street
But what’s a son to do when he ain’t got no money?
His job’s been stolen by a thief in the night ‘n then shipped overseas
His wife and kids go hungry, tensions are risin
Tell me, is this supposed to be the American Dream?
Peace, Hope Prosperity
Will bring us closer to our dreams
There’s got to be a better way to see some
Common ground when minds are free
We should protect our childrens' dreams
Let all people in this nation
Seek their goals and aspirations
Let the legacy for generations be
There’s no surrender-just BELIEVE
We should respect our own beliefs
Bridge- Gospel Choir
Maybe reason or compassion will arise
and cause us to love our own neighbor as thy self and take pride
We must honor those before us, hear their cries
Leave the world better than we found it on the day that we die
Each new generation has been cherished onto
The least we can do for our children is come through
this darkness~
leaving behind the gifts our fathers gave us
Peace, Hope Prosperity
Let’s leave this country what it’s been
A field of hopes and dreams for men and women
To fulfill their destinies
We should respect each other's dreams
Peace, Hope Prosperity
There’s no room for disbelief
We must believe that we can make a change
One that can save humanity
We should respect the future’s dreams
CHANT OUT
WE BELIEVE IN HIM
YES, OBAMA CAN
ALL TOGETHER,
WE CAN MAKE A CHANGE
YES WE CAN, YES WE CAN, YES WE CAN, CHANGE CHANGE~
YES WE CAN, YES WE CAN, YES WE CAN, CHANGE CHANGE~
WE CAN MAKE A CHANGE~ TODAY!
