Bush Casts Early Vote for Third Term

Posted by Matt Ortega on October 24, 2008 at 03:07 PM

George W. Bush cast an early vote for his third term by absentee, reports the Associated Press.

President Bush, who has been rarely seen on the campaign trail, cast his ballot for GOP presidential nominee John McCain.

In past elections, the president and first lady Laura Bush have traveled to Texas to vote, but the White House said Friday they cast their ballots in the early voting process. Their votes are being sent back to Texas.

The countdown continues. Less than eleven days to change! Get involved!

I guess no one here should really be surprised at his vote.

I'm not surprised by his vote or by him voting early. I am surprised that the DNC is not taking action to adress the vote switching by electronic voting machines that has already been widely reported in the early voting. I'll bet Bush's vote won't get switched, and neither should anyone elses.

I am not surprised by his vote, or by him voting early. I am surprised that the DNC is not taking action to address the issue of vote switching by electronic voting machines. Reports are widespread already in the early voting. Democrats are reporting that their votes are being switched, in effect denying them their right to vote. This issue must be addressed immediately or we'll all be unpleasantly surprised on Nov. 5th.
