Senator Barack Obama spoke to nearly 13,000 people in Richmond, Virginia this morning as we move inside two weeks until Election Day. Barack warned attendees that these final thirteen days will be filled with distortions and distractions from the forces of the status quo because "change never comes without a fight."

I just had a thought, after seeing that newsclip where McCain thinks he's slamming Obama by calling him "an academic"; that's funny, b/c I always viewed Barrack as "the thinking person's candidate", and I guess I was right!! Even McCain said it himself!! LOL!!!!!
Obama is an academic. He was a college professor, that makes him an academic. It's not a bad word, it's just that the Republicans have fielded such dumb POSs in the past few years that the idea of running against someone who is smart, articulate, and has a background that the rest of us can relate to scares them. They don't know how to handle it! ROTFL!!!
I mean how many of us can relate to a spoiled Navy brat, who was a complete screw up in college and even later when he should have been acting like a grown up, dumped his injured first wife for a millionaire trophy wife, turns his back on his fellow veterans, although he wants the rest of us to kiss his butt when he talks about being a vet, and thinks middle class people have 8 houses and make $5 million a year! I sure can't!
Go Obama!
I registered to comment at this DNC blog, and tried to ask--did ask, till they took it down--why nothing was being done about vote flipping machines and other voting rights issues by Obama campaign and DNC. Where are all those lawyers we heard about. It's not like it's not relevant. I was polite, I did not use obscenities, I did not break any rules for commenting. But shortly after the comments were put up--with examples cited from Bradblog--they were taken down as were *other people's comments* on the same issue. Why won't they let us talk about this there? Is it because they're afraid of discouraging people from trying to vote? Or what?
