Good Morning!
GO OBAMA!!!
So now, when is the Barbie doll going to do interviews? The American voter needs to know more of what changes McCain/Barbie are planning and how they are going to do this. All we hear from that side are attacks - I want to see Barbie on "Meet the Press and Face the Nation" - let's have a one on one interview.
She did do well last night - I'll give her that. She can memeorize just about anything I guess....
Gog gone it - gosh darn - I have ta leave ya guys - later and back at ya.... wink wink wink
uring the debate, there was a heated exchange over if a general said that a surge like Iraq's would not work. Sarah got all bent out of shape and keep saying that Joe wasn't correct when he said that a general said it wouldn't work...
Guess Barbie either didn't know what she was talking about or she lied...
Gen. David McKiernan, the top U.S. commander in Afghanistan, was quoted on Oct. 2 in The Washington Post as saying that "no Iraq-style 'surge' of forces will end the conflict" in Afghanistan, even though more U.S. troops are needed to take on a growing insurgency.
"Afghanistan is not Iraq," McKiernan said in Washington on Oct. 1. He also said "the word I don't use for Afghanistan is 'surge.' " He called for a "sustained commitment" leading to a political and not just a military solution.

McCain on the bailout bill he supported last night: "This bill is putting us on the brink of economic disaster"
John McCain was on "Morning Joe" a few minutes ago to talk mostly about the bailout bill. His answers were, as usual, discombobulated as he ranted about Washington (as if he hasn't served in D.C. for 26 years.) When pressed as to why he voted for the bailout package given all his ranting and complaining, McCain responded "This bill is putting us on the brink of economic disaster." Does McCain know that he voted for the bailout bill?

He's McNuts and is unfit to service.
CNN is saying the Governors of both Florida and California are asking the federal government for loans to met payroll because they can't get funds from the banks.
McCain can handle this type of crisis? Palin can help him?

New York Times Editorial
In the end, the debate did not change the essential truth of Ms. Palin’s candidacy: Mr. McCain made a wildly irresponsible choice that shattered the image he created for himself as the honest, seasoned, experienced man of principle and judgment. It was either an act of incredible cynicism or appallingly bad judgment.
http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/03/opinion/03fri1.html?_r=2&th&emc=th&oref=slogin&oref=slogin
And this was what the Independents and Undecided were left with at the end of the debate. McCain thinks he's playing craps with future. Palin is nothing more than a bad throw of the dice.
What would he do to our economy and military gambling in such a wildly reckless way? Palin couldn't even tell us what their plan for the economy was.
If she doesn't know after weeks of preparation for this debate, you have to figure McCain doesn't either. He's making it up as he goes along...just like Bush.
I think it is abundantly clear by now that the more Americans see Palin, the less they like her. The thought of heing a 72-year-old heartbeat away from the presidency ought to scare the living bejeezus out of people.
Schwarzenegger to U.S.: State may need $7-billion loan
In a letter obtained by The Times, the governor warns that tight credit has dried up funds California routinely relies on and it may have to seek emergency aid within weeks.
By Marc Lifsher and Evan Halper, Los Angeles Times Staff Writers
October 3, 2008SACRAMENTO -- California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, alarmed by the ongoing national financial crisis, warned Treasury Secretary Henry M. Paulson on Thursday that the state might need an emergency loan of as much as $7 billion from the federal government within weeks.
The warning comes as California is close to running out of cash to fund day-to-day government operations and is unable to access routine short-term loans that it typically relies on to remain solvent.
The state of California is the biggest of several governments nationwide that are being locked out of the bond market by the global credit crunch. If the state is unable to access the cash, administration officials say, payments to schools and other government entities could quickly be suspended and state employees could be laid off.
Plans by several state and local governments to borrow in recent days have been upended by the credit freeze. New Mexico was forced to put off a $500-million bond sale, Massachusetts had to pull the plug halfway into a $400-million offering, and Maine is considering canceling road projects that were to be funded with bonds.
California finance experts say they know of no time in recent history when the state has sought an emergency loan of this magnitude from the federal government. The only other such rescue was in 1975, they said, when the federal government lent New York City money to avoid bankruptcy...

Where did all the money go?
American assets have been shipped overseas to places like China, India and Mexico among others.
We will never get them back.
When you can't get money from your home equity line of credit to fix a leaky roof or get cash from an ATM, remember that it was the Republicans who did this to you.
McCain and the incumbent Congressional Republicans sold this nation out during the last 15 years. We'll have to start all over again creating new capital in this country...and pay more taxes to bail out the same lobbyists who pushed for this reckless globalization and deregulation of our markets.
Screwed. The American Middle Class is screwed by the Republican Party once again.

Have Schwarzenegger sell off California beaches to an overseas company like Mitch Daniels (R) did in Indiana and then claim that his State is one of only a few in the black.
The Indiana Toll Road used to be a prime highway. Since Daniels sold it, the highway has gone downhill. On returning from Wisconsin last week, my husband and I had to stop and pick up a fast food meal and continue home.
The pull off near Chicago was filthy. I turned around and walked out. The ladies restroom had toilets overflowing with shit on the floor, the inside of the building looked like it hadn't been cleaned for some time and the outside was gross. Cig butts and chewing gum all over the place. It was disgusting. But Mitch Daniels knew what he was doing - he didn't give a crap that 2/3 of the state doesn't use the toll road - it's just the ones up north... and to further make people really pissed up north, most of the money collected from the Toll Road being sold is being used down state by people who don't even use the thing.
Ditch Mitch bumper stickers are doing very well in northern Indiana.
There is a report that McCain is pulling out of Michigan.
Obama needs Michigan
I was a little concerned last night watching Sarah spewing out the Republican talking points as if she had been pre-programed to do so but thanks to the vast majority of the American voters who watched this candidate try to pass off as a viable candidate, they could see right through her. She didn't do well in the polls. She'll fall even harder when she refuses to do Meet the Press or Face the Nation....
She is a pure fake and everyone knows it.

Barack must have been ecstatic over Bidens performance. Palin trying to play populist, what a joke. Biden just stuck it to McCain. We are 2 and 0 in the debates.
I just wish she would have rambled on more. The bar was on the floor and she was going to at least get above it, but there is no comparisen. Not only is joe better than Palin, he's better than McCain.
News - at one point when she was doing her winking crap - I almost threw up. As a women, when we want to get our point across to men, we wink....
Sort of puts a whole new meaning to the word slut - she looked and acted like a slut.
I read a post on another blog that made an interesting point.
Palin's responses were so well rehearsed that we should try and find out who her handlers are.
Palin's handlers are the ones running for VP, not Palin.
ummmm - more bad news for Sarah:
NBC: 5 of 7 view Palin less favorably after debate
It seems a clear majority of those who watched the debate cannot escape the fact that Palin is a parrot.
She doesn't have the ability to think on her own and her run as VP is based on her past as a beauty pageant contestant.
Palin is a well practiced pagent speaker. She is not a debater, just a speaker. No matter what the topic or question is, she has a couple of prepared responses. Like she said, she's only been in this race for 5 weeks.
Stew - I just heard a co-worker go on and on about how great Sarah was last night. I would really like to ask her what she offered to make the change that she and John are saying but I've been barred from talking politics here. They can talk but a Democrat can't.....
We really do need to take our country back!
I think it's obvious that Obama/Biden will win the popular vote by a landslide.
With less than 20% approval rating for the incumbent political party and multiple on-going crisis around the world the Republicans are not a popular choice.
The electorate is the key to the election.
Ohio and Pennsylvania are two key battleground states that McCain and Palin must win.

I've said all along that Palin won't be our VP under McCain, Cheney will. Oh, she'll do some ribbon cuttings and visit some schools, but it will be Cheney "advising" the presidency.

Sarah Palin appeals to the type of person who never psychologically graduated out of high school.
There are certainly those find Sarah Palin worthy.
But the majority of Americans are not in a position to vote for anything as grossly incompetent as McCain and Palin.
Intelligent people will continue to think on their feet and aren't not reliant on scripted and rehearsed performances.
I wouldn't be surprised if others around your work secretly find this Palin supporter annoying and out of touch.
Palin appeals to those who barely graduated high school.
But to the majority of Americans, Palin condescendingly plays the role of school mom who thinks she knows what's best without having anything to back it up.

No offense, but I don't really believe that.
Cheney is as worn out as McCain.
Cheney's power as VP was more in line with the first four years of the Bush Administration where there was still time to reasonably fix our problems.
However, after 8 years the problems can only get worse without competent leadership.
Palin and a Cheney "Kitchen Cabinet" will only exacerbate an already precarious situation.
Another way to put it.
Bush and Cheney are unpopular for a reason.
McCain and Palin can only run on an agenda that criticizes Bush and Cheney.
Disastisfied Americans have been disastisfied for a long time and it will take more than the popular vote and an electorate win by the Republicans to change that.
Cheney and Bush are lame ducks without any political credibility to support any of their opinions.
22BlueinIdaho on October 3, 2008 at 11:58 AM
Notice how Bush is the lonely Republican fully behind the bailout.
Most Republicans views deregulation and limited government interference as the standard.
McCain supports the bailout because he knows he can't win on the argument that "the economy is fundamentally sound".
Bush and Cheney have absolutely no clout, even among Republicans.
All those two have is a proven record of mishandling crisis and one disastrous policy decision after another.
Palin has already conceded the blunders that the Bush Administration has commited as it relates to Iraq.
And Republicans can't do anything about it, because they know it's true.
Clueless Barbie on the worst thing Cheney ever did as VP:
Nice debate flow chart included...
So, I’ve been quiet thus far, but I figure it’s about time I went moose hunting. So let me start off nice and big for ya, in case there’s any doubt as to where I stand. Sarah Palin is a stupid, self important, ignorant bitch who I wouldn’t put in charge of wiping her own ass. And it’s not just that she’s dumb - which she is - it’s that she’s willfully ignorant of the facts and yet absolutely dead-bang certain that she’s right about her opinions. It’s more of this “governing from the gut” bullshit that we’ve been Chimping along with for the past eight years. I don’t know why it’s a taboo to say someone is too dumb to be President. Hell, most people don’t have the kind of mental sharpness necessary. That’s why it’s so important to pick the right person out of an entire country of potential leaders. But Sarah Palin? She’s not even worth considering. She’s fucking dumb, okay?
uh oh, looks like the trolls got up on the wrong side of the bed this morning! teehee !
