It's good to see that Democrats have finally figured out to produce political ads that people can relate to easily.
Run this ad big in all the swing states.
I wish the candidate would discuss global poverty more. According to The Borgen Project:
$30 billion: Annual shortfall to end world hunger.
$540 billion: Annual U.S. Defense Budget

Once we end hunger in the U.S. we can concentrate on the rest of the world.
Since the media and the Republicans like to talk about Obama's links to Ayers, I think it's time the Democratic party stir some things up. I think it's only fair that we talk about McCain's ties to Watergate burglar and domestic terroist G. Gordon Liddy. Liddy wanted to firebomb a Washington tank, assassinate a prominent journalist, undertake a watergate burglary, and kidnap anti-war protestors. McCain was on Liddy's radio show praising him for keeping our nation great. Why doesn't the media report this? I think it's time for us to fight back and make sure that if the media is going to spread rumors then they have to cover both sides of this issue. Especially, Fox News.
McCain's healthcare plan is dangerous for America. The $5000 credit from the government sounds good, but is not feasible. How many people who are middle class, working poor, and poor will actually buy into this. Instead they will pay debts, buy clothes or whatever, get a car instead of insurance. It is hard for the common man/woman to set aside debts to buy into health insurance. The other problem is since the credit comes from the IRS, it can be garnished just like a tax return or economic stimulus check. If a person owes a student loan in excess of what the tax credit is, well how can a person buy health insurance when their life line is seized. I am not saying owing debt is good, but lets be honest here, if there is no money to buy into insurance because of the garnishment would'nt that person owe more debt to medical bills. It sounds like the facist republicans are looking after the unregulated companies that collect debts and trade them as if they are commodities. Who is getting rich now? National Health Care just like Briton or Canada is the way to go. One contribution per paycheck, one low price and it should cost no more than $25.00 per pay period, and Medication should cost $10.00 per prescription. That is what America needs.
