Good to see Dean again even if the video was oddly choppy. News reports in my area are showing that everything is going smoothly--so far, so good! Only a few more hours and we will know! --Patrick Stoy

Howard Dean, great video, inspiring.

He paid a suddenly previously unplanned visit to Arizona yesterday...McCain's own territory. Video and pictures and some articles.

Howard Dean was in John McCain's territory today. Pics and articles.

Governor Dean, excuse the language but you are a friggin' genius. Whatever the ultimate result today, the 50 State Strategy (of which I give you credit for thinking up) is a huge success. Never thought I'd see it come to fruition.

Again, whatever happens today (or, as I anticipate, the next month, because I expect there will be legal challenges), your strategy is not just a winner, it is one of inclusion and reconciliation.

But I want to note one thing as a pre-natal Democrat, the child, the grandchild, the great-grandchild of Democrats - someone whose path began with putting leaflets on doors in my neighborhood in 1968 - if we are to hold true to our beliefs we must coalesce with the Democrats who supported Hillary Clinton yet have not come into the Obama fold. My goodness, we have so very much in common. Barack Obama will embrace them and so should the party. These people are our brethren, and if we prevail today, we must put past differences behind us and embrace them.

I salute you, sir, and look forward to the new Fair Deal - a progressive agenda which benefits every single one of us.

Thank you Howard! I also feel compelled to heep praise your way as I know you many detractors within the party. Thank you for having the courage and fortitude to help bring this moment forward! This could be only the beginning if we as Democrats do not lose sight of this wonderful country and guide her properly. Inclusiveness needs to be our our mantra. It is wonderful this morning seeing the looks on the blacks faces to see the opening up of yet another ceiling in their lives. I had no idea of that until this morning. What blessings are already coming forward. What a beautiful family will be living in the White House!

Wow, everyone here writes that your video was great. I wish you would have captioned it so Deaf Americans could have access to it as well. But then the DNC didn't even provide a TDD/TTY line, throughout the entire campaign, so Deaf Americans could contact you. So I shouldn't be surprised at this.
Is this part of the progressive agenda that one of these comments were saluting you for?

Wow, your video sounds like it was a big hit. I wish you would have captioned it so Deaf Americans could have access to it also. But then the DNC didn't even provide a TDD/TTY line, throughout the entire campaign, so Deaf Americans could contact you.
Is this part of the progressive agenda that another comment was saluting you for? Don't misunderstand - I voted for Barack Obama. But that's all the more reason why I should have access to my elected officials and what is being said.

The "new map out west"...we did a pretty good job on Dean's plan.

Obama took Howard Dean's vision to new heights today

Do you realize the win was called without Florida? I am glad Florida went blue, but glad we did not need that state to win.

it's a big mistake to see Republicans in the new cabinet of the Obama administration . it's enough the faults and the crimes that they have done against humanity . For that I am advising President-elected Barack Obama to not keep Robert Gates as defense Secretary. But if he do that he will bite his finger after near time . Sorry it's wrong and fool decision .Dear Mr. Obama think again twice and twice before you take this bad decision . is there no an other person in the Democratic party ? What do you mean ? are you crazy or mad ? This choice is looking like the choice of John McCain when he choose Sara Plain. Please don't burn your self. But if you want Mr. Colin Paul in your carbonate let him leave the Republican party to the Democratic .I think that the history is repeating it's self your end will be the same as the end of John F. Kennedy .bey bey Obama if you do that .
