Thank you, Governor Sarah Palin, we couldn't have done it without her. Her Reverand Wright/ William Ayers campaign struck a cord with the republican base, particularly the hard core south. She didn't do well with young people, Hillary's supporters and a host of other interest groups who didn't feel she was qualified to be Vice President. If she wants to carry forth the mantle of the republican party, best of wishes.
Tonight in England fireworks and bonfires are set to commemorate the failure of the famous gunpowder plot by Guy Fawkes and company. Many here in America are celebrating a successful revolution last night, one that was many years in the making. Many wonder what it means, what will come and what difference does it really make. John Quincy Adams said some years before the outbreak of the civil war that when it came, it would be the final battle of the American Revolution. Many are saying today that Obama's victory last night consituted the last gasp of our civil war. What this says to me is that our revolution never ended and can never end. We must always look to our most famous grammatical error and always strive to achive a more perfect union.
