Governor Howard Dean turns 60 today. Celebrate with us by sending in your birthday wishes for the Governor!
The internet department at the DNC is going rogue for this project.
Today is Governor Dean's 60th Birthday and we wanted to do something for Governor Dean that included you, one of the biggest advocates for the 50 state strategy. So here's the deal. If you'd like to send Gov Dean a birthday message leave it as a comment to this post (or if you don't have an account, or want to make it semi-private you can use this form,) and we'll print what your comment and get it to Governor Dean sometime today.
Post your wishes here, or sending them in using this form, and we'll give them to the Governor. But don't ruin the surprise!

So Governor Dean doesn't read the blog regularly? He's not going to see this thread?
I understand that the election is over. But that doesn't mean he can slack off till a replacement is named. A vacation may be in order, but the challenge of rebuilding and nurturing a vibrant, growing grassroots organization remains.
I wish Governor Dean well and hope he remains active in party politics. Who else is going to make us look differently as problems and then force us to do something about them?

Thank you for adding your congratulations...in that cynical, disrespectful way that only you can. Obama may have a place for you just like McCain and Leslie Graham. Why you could be his Ambassador to Alaska?

A joyful yeeeehaw is good therapy and a natural honest spontaneous expression. Who are the idiot madmen who labeled a yeeehaw as something to be ashamed of? I wonder what other psychological hang ups they have about their bodies and natural functions....hmmmm.

Happy Birhday Dr.Dean and thank you,thank you, THANK YOU! You`ve been the person who stood up to Bush`s rhetoric when all other Democrats were weak in the knees and had no voice. You were the one who stood strong anf called him on it when no other voices were being heard. You`ve been a fighter before the DNC chairmanship. You used that position to bring that fight to all 50 states. You are a leader sir that I will follow. I hope that the Democratic Party realizes what they owe you. The grassroots surely does.Everything!

Good morning, Democrats and Happy Birthday Chairman Dean! I haven't visited over here in a long long time but I am prompted by this morning's news that Joe Lieberman will keep his Homeland Security committee chairmanship. I just want to let you know that if this happens, I am done giving money to the DNC. This really angers me. Lieberman should not be allowed to actively campaign against our candidate and then be welcomed back to the fold. Get rid of him!
