DNC’s New TV Ad: Republican Scare Mongering

We released a new TV ad this morning, calling out Republican leaders for once again using scare tactics to frighten seniors about health insurance reform. The ad points to leading news sources that have called the GOP’s tactics “dishonest” and “scare-mongering." It also highlights how reform will benefit seniors by lowering prescription drug costs (by closing the donut hole in Medicare Part D) and securing the long-term financial health of Medicare by ending over-payments to insurance companies. The ad is playing on national and DC cable.
