NO STUPID TROLLS ALLOWED! OH, I FORGOT, THEY AREN'T ANY SMART ONES.
SANTA WILL REACH INTO HIS BAG AND PULL OUT LUMPS OF SHIT FOR THE TROLLS AT CHRISTMAS. OH, I FORGOT, THE HOLIDAYS.
I see Stevie was posting some heavily edited crap from the Freepers about Al gore facing a massive protest rally and having to "flee" a book signing.
As usual he is full of shit. Gore stayed the whole time and signed all the books, and didn't flee like Sorry Failin did to her bussed in lemmings.
Oh, and that "massive" protest was 2 guys inside the book store and a handful more outside - AND THEY WERE 9-11 TRUTHERS!
Steve Miller reporting WBBM Newsradio 780
CHICAGO (WBBM) -- Former Vice President Al Gore drew a crowd of a few hundred yesterday at the State Street Borders store - where he autographed his latest book, "Our Choice: A Plan to Solve the Climate Crisis."
WBBM's Steve Miller was there.
(...)
A couple of protesters were tossed out, and some others gathered outside the store at State and Randolph to sing a protest song.
"Al Gore will kill you," the song said, "not CO2."
WBBM CBS NEWSRADIO: Gore draws fans, protesters to book signing
Here is the link to the Northwestern U. Journalism School Asssignment Paper (it's not even the official NU Student Paper) that Stevie partially posted from Freeperville. Notice that he or they cut off about 60% of the story.

Why is that ALL Pugs can do is LIE?
If anything even remotely close to what Stevie posted actually happened it would have been covered on the news. ABC is is the SAME BUILDING as that Borders (they are almost next door neighbors, ABC is the north corner, Borders is the south corner), and CBS is a block away.

Dubai debt `standstill' raises alarms
By BARBARA SURK, Associated Press Writer
DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – Just a year after the global downturn derailed Dubai's explosive growth, the city is now so swamped in debt that it's asking for a six-month reprieve on paying its bills — causing a drop on world markets Thursday and raising questions about Dubai's reputation as a magnet for international investment.
The fallout came swiftly after Wednesday statement that Dubai's main development engine, Dubai World, would ask creditors for a "standstill" on paying back its $60 billion debt until at least May. The company's real estate arm, Nakheel — whose projects include the palm-shaped island in the Gulf — shoulders the bulk of money due to banks, investment houses and outside development contractors.
In total, the state-backed networks nicknamed Dubai Inc. are $80 billion in the red and the emirate needed a bailout earlier this year from its oil-rich neighbor Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates...

Remember when Bush Jr. wanted to sell our ports to these deadbeats?
Dubai World would have been using our ports as collateral to hold off their creditors today and our Treasury would never have seen the money from the buyout.
Just imagine what else the Republicans would have cooked up with their Arab friends if McCain/Palin had taken over for Spunky.
Let us take a stroll down memory lane one more time for old time’s sake...

Halliburton moved its world headquarters to UAE recently and I guess Carlyle has been there even longer. If there is war profiteering, casino- style financial gambling, or slight-of-hand involved, a neocon can't be too far away from the action.
So what has that convicted Iraqi embezzler and Cheney's old drinking buddy, Ahmad Chalabi, been up to lately in the Middle East? Remember him?
He's the one who gave our troop movements to the Iranian Revolutionary Guards before the invasion after a drunken Cheney let it slip over a glass of Scotch and soda. I suppose he could have gotten shot in the face instead? It might have saved us a lot of grief in the long run.
Another day, another conservative economic disaster. What else is new?
And the conservative Republicans have the nerve to suggest that Democrats will bankrupt our health care system? They don't know anything. And can't do anything right. Lying and creating financial chaos for others is their signature method of operation.

Hi, DPD.
Is it just me or do these "protesters" looks like a token delegation from the UAE?
My, aren't the Young Republicans looking a little scruffy these days? Chronic unemployment and fear that there might not be any real future for them to manipulate can do that to the young...even privileged, affluent youth.
Morning Sandy and DPD,
Isn't dubai where cheney deposited all the money he stole from the taxpayers. Perhaps that $8 billion that disappeared in Iraq is in a dubai bank under the name of chalabi.
Well, I'm off to the sales. This baby needs a new pair of holiday dress shoes. I do like Palin's taste in high heels.

Still clinging to that BS are you? Maybe the guy who wrote some of those emails can clarify it to you, since you have the scientific understanding of an amoeba.
DS: When Phil Jones wrote in 1999, "I've just completed Mike's Nature trick of adding in the real temps to each series for the last 20 years (i. e. from 1981 onwards) and from 1961 for Keith's to hide the decline," what did he mean?Michael Mann: Phil Jones has publicly gone on record indicating that he was using the term "trick" in the sense often used by people, as in "bag of tricks", or "a trick to solving this problem ...", or "trick of the trade". In referring to our 1998 Nature article, he was pointing out simply the following: our proxy record ended in 1980 (when the proxy data set we were using terminates) so, it didn't include the warming of the past two decades. In our Nature article we therefore also showed the post-1980 instrumental data that was then available through 1995, so that the reconstruction could be viewed in the context of recent instrumental temperatures. The separate curves for the reconstructed temperature series and for the instrumental data were clearly labeled.
The reference to "hide the decline" is referring to work that I am not directly associated with, but instead work by Keith Briffa and colleagues. The "decline" refers to a well-known decline in the response of only a certain type of tree-ring data (high-latitude tree-ring density measurements collected by Briffa and colleagues) to temperatures after about 1960. In their original article in Nature in 1998, Briffa and colleagues are very clear that the post-1960 data in their tree-ring dataset should not be used in reconstructing temperatures due to a problem known as the "divergence problem" where their tree-ring data decline in their response to warming temperatures after about 1960. "Hide" was therefore a poor word choice, since the existence of this decline, and the reason not to use the post 1960 data because of it, was not only known, but was indeed the point emphasized in the original Briffa et al Nature article. There is a summary of that article available on this NOAA site.
There have been many articles since then trying to understand the reason for this problem, which applies largely to only one very specific type of proxy data (tree-ring wood density data from higher latitudes).
As for my research in this area more generally, there was a study commissioned by the National Academies of Science back in 2006 to assess the validity of paleoclimate reconstructions in general, and my own work in specific. A summary of that report, and link to it, is available here. And the New York Times (6/22/06), in an article about the report entitled "Science Panel Backs Study on Warming Climate" had the following things to say:
A controversial paper asserting that recent warming in the Northern Hemisphere was probably unrivaled for 1,000 years was endorsed today, with a few reservations, by a panel convened by the nation's preeminent scientific body...At a news conference at the headquarters of the National Academies, several members of the panel reviewing the study said they saw no sign that its authors had intentionally chosen data sets or methods to get a desired result. "I saw nothing that spoke to me of any manipulation," said one member, Peter Bloomfield, a statistics professor at North Carolina State University. He added that his impression was the study was "an honest attempt to construct a data analysis procedure."

We had a guy at yesterday's party, who is a savvy investor, like Chassie is. the subject of Gold came up-----and he said do NOT get taken in by the ads on TV right now, saying you should invest in gold.
He mentioned that the only place you can sell back that gold bricks is to the place you bought them---AND THE FEES PRACTICALLY OUTWEIGH ANY GAIN.
Said because of the raise in value right now----PRODUCTION IN MINES IS AT AN ALL TIME HIGH, AND THE MARKET IS BEING INFUSED WITH MORE AND MORE OF IT, WHICH WILL REDUCE THE VALUE
Said that unlike stocks, etc, that are subject to Capital Gains taxes, GOLD IS TAXED AS ORDINARY INCOME TAX, PLUS A 20% MARKUP.
PAM, you got a smart friend there. He is exactly right. You pay a premium buying it, and you pay a premium selling it.
Any body that wants to invest in Gold, and Silver, is best to do it thur ETFS and the Miner's. They can be bought and sold in a split second.
Stevie is ignornant thinking the world is going back to the gold standard. Takeing gold to the store and buying crap, and getting change back in gold. How ignornant could anybody be??????
And Pam Stevie is not only spending money buying, and selling it, he is also spending money storing it in the bank. That he says the banks, ain't going to be worth shit, so go figure. Not to mention if the bank BURNS to the ground, and his few OZ'S are melted. What he to do then?????? When no way could it be verified how much he had their.
Does it get any more stupider then this, with this kind of thinking? Jeez!

you mean when the RNC bought and paid for them, correct?
global frickin warmin is over with the admissions of manipulating the data and excluding dissenting views. The populous never bought it before and they sure as hell ain't gonna now.
If by 'populous', you mean deniars like yourself, because you are so paranoid, you can't stand the thought that smarter people than you say there IS global warming, you are wrong.
You see really intelligent people, people with reasoning powers, understand that the freaken oceans are not 2 degrees warmer than they ever were before, Mountain tops half the size they were ever before, the North and South Pole ice melting and can be seen through, for any other reason than this planet is warming. Now you may not want to admit that co2 is the reason, but there is not a smart person in the world that can deny this planet is WARMING!
Usually on Thanksgiving, we take a lot of the leftovers at my sister's and put them in the garage to keep cool over night. This year, we were unable to, because the temperature was in the 50's and too warm, PLUS there are still ants and other bugs around. Some of my summer flowers are still in bloom. AND IT IS ALMOST DECEMBER 1ST IN NEW ENGLAND !
We had a guy at yesterday's party, who is a savvy investor, like Chassie is. the subject of Gold came up-----and he said do NOT get taken in by the ads on TV right now, saying you should invest in gold.

So, one can sit back and look at the market value climb and think they are making money ON PAPER, while they have no idea what lies ahead when they try and obtain that gain !
So Stevie, if you were really smart, you would cash that in as fast as you can, and leave your daughter something besides an albatross around her neck ! ( it is down today along with the other stocks, etc, due to Dubai. Chassie was right)

VERY TRUE

YOUR MY KIND OF GAL, REMINDS ME OF MY BEST HALF
Mine is gardening, these days i done quit farming, even though i still got a few cows. I'm not much of a carpenter, i can build a few things but I'm not a good carpenter. Like Clint Eastwood said you got to know your limitations, and i know mine.
20Esmeralda on November 27, 2009 at 01:55 PM
chassie, I wish we had a few hundred acres. We would be full time farmers! I would love to live off the land and not have to answer to the man in the city. Actually, we'd have a hunting lodge and bed and breakfast. With the lake being so close, we could make good money running a weekend restaurant.
;p
Jacq, I forgot to mention are you enjoying your long weekend? That's a dumb question, i know you are.
So are you enjoying those babies this long weekend?
Never mind that's another dumb question.
So I'll ask has your MAN, got a deer this long weekend yet?
This is my own personal favorite, CHILLI made out of ground deer meat is better then BEEF.
I had a friend of mine that gave me 15 lbs. of Elk ground meat, a week ago, and we made a big pot of chilli, out of most of it. We froze most of it, so we can get it out and have a bowl or 2 anytime. Its also good.
Afternoon Essie, Chassie and Pam,
harporhoid's face must be itching today. He needs to use Preparation H.

It's all they know how to do. Lord knows they have nothing good to say about their own Party.

I have no intentions of ever leaving my hometown/area where I grew up and my family lives. If I wanted to, I could sell it all and move to the big city where I work. The carpenter was born and raised in a BIG city, and he said he hated it, and he gives thanks he met a small town gal like me and he couldn't wait to move down here and live the simple life.
I stated that if I had the acreage, we would use our talents and our "hobbies" to earn a living. You see, the carpenter and I have something you will never possess...vision and the ability to work hard.
marvin, he has already taken down a young buck, and it's been processed and in the freezer. We had some delish venison chili yesterday. The carpenter is working today, he has a wealthy client who has hired him to completely remodel his farm house.
Next week is gun season, and the carpenter is taking some time off to spend hunting with his brother, who will be staying with us for a few days. He's hoping to get a trophy buck then. If not, there is next year.
After the holidays, we will start work transforming our old garage into a new family room.
That won't take us long.
Good evening John, how is your 4 days off going so far?
I have been preparing the feast today. We are eating at 4 p.m. I will go get my dad and my youngest daughter, Necee, and her daughter, Miss Lily will be coming over as well. My oldest, Bird, had to work. She is managing the hotel while her boss is out of the country.
We will watch Lily open her 1st Birthday (Dec 1) presents too. I'll put pictures up on my FB.
So what's bothering you Pammy is that you sold your few precious gold items off too soon?
another clever one, posted by unemployed MN Thomass
Not at all, Thomasssss. I was very happy with the cash they counted out into my hand at that Gold party. I believe a bird in the hand is worth two sitting is a bank, waiting for the price to spiral down again.
btw, inquiring minds would like to know how much gold YOU own. Surely you have a nice cache somewhere? Did you wrestle that little gold wedding band off your wifey's hand yet? hahaha
hi johne. gotta go finish cooking.
enjoy the afternoon, everyone.
Psalm 105:1

Chassie,
I woke up this morning and my stomach hurt because I ate too much turkey. I had soup for lunch but my stomach still kind of hurts.
I hope you and your wife had a feast.
Essie,
Enjoy your feast day and your grandchildren. You blink and they are grown up. It's really nice that you are near your kids and grandkids. Ours live in San Antonio, Seattle and Manteca, California. We are getting together for Christmas.

Jacq, i'm so happy that everything is going great with your life, your so full of LIFE, I love reading you, you BRIGHTEN the DAY. Give your Daddy a big HUG. And tell him how much you appreciate him. But don't call him a P.
39johhne on November 27, 2009 at 02:49 PM
John, your family sounds like mine, all of are kids live in different States. People that have them close don't know how lucky they are. And how much the good lord has blessed them.
They also don't realize how much we envy them, when there always talking about getting theirs once a week etc. I've got 2 great grand babies that I've only got to see once. I'm JEALOUS.
Jacq, is so full of Love and LIFE, i know that she GLOWS in the dark, my daddy had a sister-in-law like that. She was a beautiful person.
Jacq, told me that she had broad shoulders, and a big butt. However that is not what matters, its what's in a person's heart that matters. And Jacq, Rocks.
That's something you Pug's will never figure out, its not the size of the bank acct.
Al Gore and Jimmy Carter are better men than all of you trolls put together including ronnie reegan, king bush the first, chimp (wanna-be dictator) and cheney.
All republicans suck dick.
Chassie,
You are right on. Essie is a great human being and her kids and better half are lucky to have her.
I too enjoy her Bible quotes. They are so to the point.
Good afternoon, all.
Esmeralda on November 27, 2009 at 01:44 PM
Hi, Essie.
Hope the birthday girl enjoys her day.
I suppose Palin had a fashion consultant in tow when she made the RNC buy her a new wardrobe at those up-scale stores. However, I'm not ruling out the chance that she doesn't have a certain sense of style. After all, she was once a beauty pageant contestant so she must know her shoes.
Besides, a lot of those fundie women do that sexy librarian thing real well. She just may have been limited in her choices living up there in Alaska where there isn't a heck of a lot of retail even in the larger "cities".
Speaking of retail, things seem to be going well at the stores today. I didn't get out till late morning, but there are still lots of folks shopping in the outlets. I never go near mall on a day like this. I didn't think the bargains were particularly great, but then they have been discounting since Halloween.
Two-for-the-price of one or half-off the second pair is sort of standard these days. But then I wasn't looking for electronics or toys which is where most people were looking for the sales today.
Maybe the great weather has the crowds shopping, too. I'm going to get out and work off some of yesterday's big meal doing lawn work. I hate taking down the oranges, greens, and golds of the fall decorations. Maybe we'll put up the Xmas lights tomorrow when my husband is off and they're predicting temps near 70.
You would never know that we are closing in on the holiday season. My roses are producing the best blooms of the year. They smell heavenly. It almost makes it easy to rake up the leaves that blew onto our lawn from our neighbors' trees yesterday. Why don't mine ever blow somewhere else?
bbl.

Was there a ray of sunshine again, and they went scurrying to the closet?
Oh nevermind i know where they are, at the strip club sticking bills in the POST TURTLE's...Garter Belt.
Production is down for gold and will continue to decline....
The speculators are out in force, aren't they?
When I was in Alaska a year ago the locals said that production was up even then. They said that all it takes is a slight increase to get the mines up and running again.
We even followed a truck laden with raw ore down the highway from White Horse. They were averaging more than 10 a day versus just one a week which is the custom when the price is down. I don't know what's going on in other parts of the world, but the US producers are not letting a golden opportunity get away from them.
It never fails to amaze me how people go crazy over gold and will do or say anything to jack up the price of commodities during troubled economic times. Speculators know their marks well.
bye.

I've got more than a little news for YOU,
"There is still a lot of gold in the Ground that was just too expensive to mine at $300.00 per ounce but let it stay up over $1,000.00 per ounce for any length of time and you will see a boom time like we haven't seen since the Comstock Load. "
1-Dynacor Gold Mines increases its gold production capacity Montréal, Québec, April 16, 2008 – Dynacor Gold Mines Inc. (Dynacor TSX:DNG) is pleased to announce that gold sales from the Company’s custom milling operations at Acari reached 7,271 ounces during the first three months of 2008 showing a 69% increase as compared to the 4,311 ounces of gold sold during Q1 2007. As previously announced (see Press Release dated January 16, 2008) the Company plans to gradually increase the ore milling capacity at its Acari plant to 150 tons/day during 2008. Phase 1 of this increase has now been completed and the Acari mill now has a daily capacity of 120 tons/day. It should be underlined that the Company has over the last two years doubled the capacity of the mill from an initial capacity of 60 tons/day. During the month of February the Company installed a new additional ball mill (5.5x6ft) and a new 16x16ft. cyanidation tank. Both of these new pieces of equipment have been tested and are now fully operational. Installation of the Merrill Crowe unit is now completed and this equipment is undergoing extensive testing before being commissioned. Once it is operational it will enable the Company to further increase its production capacity. Finally, Dynacor has opened a new gold ore purchasing office in Espinar/Cusco some 770 km south of the Acari where many new gold mining operations have emerged in the last two years. Based on the Acari plant’s current 120 tons per day milling capacity the Company is confident that it can produce more than 30,000 ounces of gold in 2008, through its custom milling operations. Furthermore, exploration and drilling of the Company’s Tumipampa property is actively underway and Dynacor’s expects to be able to report further drilling data for this property in the near future. BULAWAYO — Gold production increased by close to eight percent in September but power outages held back increased production amid reports that mines are losing about 100 hours a week of work time due to blackouts. Chamber of Mines president, Victor Gapare told Standardbusiness last week that power cuts, which were blamed for last year’s collapse of the mining industry continued to slow down the revival of a sector that was once one of the country’s biggest foreign currency earners.
“Electricity supply interruptions continue to be a cause for concern. Mines are losing up to 100 hours per week because of the interruptions.
“Zesa is currently supplying around 70% of industry requirements,” Gapare said in an interview.
But despite the power outages, Gapare said gold production output went up by 7.9% in September from the statistics recorded the previous month, a sign he said showed the sector was slowly finding its feet after years of decline.
“Gold production for September 2009 at 527.3521kg was 7.9% higher than that recorded in August. This compares favourably with the production of 338kg achieved in September 2008.
“Projections for the year at this rate now stand at around 4 200kg. All the major gold mines are now in production and capacity utilisation is around 50% for most mines,” he said.

Oh, Jeeze Louise. This bitch just makes it too easy.
It turns out that her bus tour" to sell her screed is a phony as she is.
Franklin Graham has been carting her useless ass around in a tax exempt luxury Gulfstream jet the whole time.
Sarah Palin arrived in North Carolina Sunday by way of Asheville. She was slated to have a much-touted dinner with Franklin Graham and his father Billy. While this is a video made by a fan (so pardon the drippiness) it does provide a good view of the plane she arrived on...and the call number. You may also see some "interesting" dynamics at play:"Linda, Thought I would let you know. The plane Sarah flew in to Asheville had the N number 262SP. The SP does not stand for Sarah Palin but the plane is owned by Samaritans Purse. I checked it out at the FAA registry. Wonder if that plane is being used at Rochester and other book signing destinations? Samaritan donations being put to good use to haul Palin's carcass around."As if that was not interesting enough, he wrote back later:
Tried to check the flight activity for this airplane (N262SP) at Flightwise.com. The flight activity for this plane is blocked by the owner. Guess he doesn't want anyone to know where he is flying. This is a good site to track an airplane's activity. Might come in handy for checking the use of AK state airplanes.(...)
Sarah Palin is touring around in a Gulfstream II (twin-jet). The flight details of this particular plane can be found HERE.An extended flight log can be found HERE.
(...)
Therefore, it is proven that her big "bus roadshow" is just a fake. Sarah Palin is in fact being carried around with her family on a luxury plane. Sarah, why are we not surprised?

What a phony piece of shit she is!
I have a Financial planner who has done very well by me, so don't need some inexperienced balkie telling me what to invest in!
61PamB on November 27, 2009 at 03:53 PM
Pam since you don't work anymore, get rid of the financial planner, YOU DON'T NEED HIM. You got the talent to do it on your own. And if you need some help along the way I'll help you, NO CHARGE.
But really you don't need me, or him. YOU GOT THE TALENT AND THE SMARTS to do it on your own, don't be afraid. NOBODY has got more respect for your money then you, i don't care who it is. YOU GOT THAT?
Chassie, My planner is also a friend. He worked with me in our Life, Health Financial products dept. Most of what he does gets no fees for him. He has my absolute full trust, and moves my products as he feels they need to be , so I do not have to keep my ear to the ground on what is going on. He took my 401K money, and diversified it into many products. He took my sale of stock of the bank that bought us, and also invested that.
He has done very well by me.
But I do watch what you are touting, and ask him about them from time to time, also.
Gold is Fool's gold, according to him.
That's my name Harpie, what's your game Harpie?
INQUIRING MINDS WANT TO KNOW?
Personally i think that your game is just to be a small time Punk. I also think that you have SUCKED MULTIPLE DICKS, over your life time, and you and your friend the German Turd, are cock suckers. What do you think about that, Harpie?
LOOK AT THE FUCKING FAA LINKS YOU ILLITERATE MORON, instead of just clicking on the "properties" box, you lazy fuckwad.
There are links and video of that grifter using a tax exempt plane, funded by a Charity, to sell her tome of lies.
Gee, sock puppet you sure have a fascination with the YMCA. Did you learn about that when you were a prison wife?
COME OUT OF THE CLOSET STEVIE, WE ALL KNOW THAT YOUR LURKING.
YOU AGROAPHOBIC horses ass.
What a BITCH!
She used that tax exempt Charity plane to fly across the country to have Thanksgiving dinner at her aunts house! I'm sure using that plane to deliver food to poor people in Appalachia or Detroit would have been a better use of its tax exempt status, rather than hauling her lying carcass all over Kingdom Come.

She has been using that luxury plane to haul her brrod to almost every stop on her lie fest.
Marvin, you spelled that wrongly... it's AGORAPHOBIC.
How many times do i have to tell your Lead Head, that i don't give a shit about proper spelling, punctuation, and proper grammar, or being political correct.
Fuck that, and fuck you Harpie.
Are you a qualified English Teacher?
If you are go get a JOB, you worthless slug slacker.
Anybody know when the Going Rogue, Prostitute is going to show up in BLUE Minnesota?
Chassie, that's what these trolls ALWAYS do. They can't come up with anything original so they start calling people fags and then they nit-pick typos as if they are contributing something to the planet.
If they really wanted to make a contribution they would tie a cinder block around each others' necks and all jump in a lake.
THAT would make the world a better place in an instant.

Good evening fellow Americans. I hope everyone's Thanksgiving went well.

Thanks Doobee, i think I'll go so i can get the privilege of meeting Stevie. If you no what i mean. Ya know you don't get the chance to meet a person that is smarter then anybody else in the universe every day.
Aftenoon all good Dems,
Is that palin who is flying around the country at our expense? She should be charged with tax evasion. What a moose-ass bitch.

John, she's using a plane paid for with charitable donations. Unless either she or the Publisher are reimbursing that Charity they are ALL in violation of the tax laws.
Also, too, yew betcha, if Sorry Failin doesn't claim those trips as income ("payment in kind" is the legal term) she could be in a WORLD of hurt with the IRS.
It's time for the IRS to audit Franklin Graham's books.
They exposed that bimbo preaean last week.
She claimed on the handtitty show that she only made one porn tape in which she played with herself exposing her entire bottom. She claimed she was a teenager at the time and that it was a one time affair.
Randi Rhodes said that they talked with her one time boyfriend in San Diego. They asked him about the tapes. He said that she sent the porn over her phone and he said she sent about twenty of them. She said she was seventeen at the time and her boyfriend said she is a liar. She was nineteen. The boyfriend also said that she asked him to lie about her age and he said hell no, I won't lie.
What is it about repuke women. Are they all lying bitches and religious hypocrites?
I would say yes. Look at palin, coldsore, bachman and prejean.
if you bought 1,000 ounces of gold at, let's just say $1,000/oz that would be 1,000,000 and you held it until it was worth, let's say... $5,000/oz and you sold it for $5,000,000, according to Marvin, Pam and Pam's drunken uncle at her party you wouldn't have made a dime on this transaction
Posted by the know it all, Thomassss
Ahhhh, now you are starting to Catch on there MN Thomassss.
The CLUE Here in the little assumption of your's is 3 words----YOU SOLD IT.......
You see, Stevie will watch it go to $5,000, and let it sit there, due to #1- greed, #2- stupidity.
So it will strictly be what I said----merely a Paper gain!
You would understand if you owned anything.
I am not bragging about how much I own---but rather smart investing.
Dufus Dan----I said I LOST more on my investment than Stevie ever made----Did not mean I lost Everything. Got it now?
Chassie, I kept my SEC NASD registration up until 2 years ago, when I got tired of paying for it, and knew I would not go back into the business. PLUS, you have to take continuing education to keep it up. I used to sell Variable annuitities and other products myself, but it is nice to sit back and let someone else do it for you.
I have to admit he is a little more conservative about investing than I use to be, but it turned out to be a good thing.
hmmmm, what are the current fees and costs of selling on EBAY? based on percentages, I believe, and if you use PayPal, even more.
Harpie, you need to pay more attention to your elders, your not the sharpest knife in the drawer.
Your really a dumb shit about economics and money management.
Harpie, probably is living off of about a half a dozen Credit Cards that is maxed out.
Telling us how to invest.
Shut up Harpie, were all way ahead of you. Punk!
Stevie what is the melting point of Gold?
What is the melting point of Silver?
What is the temperature of the hot end of a cigarette?
Will a lit cigarette ignite gasoline?
What is the melting point of copper?
What is the average temperature of a house fire?
You didn't think about any of these possibilites, until i brought it up.
OF COURSE YOUR NOT TO SHARP.
Stevie Lloyd DOESN'T OWN A FUCKING THING!
QUIT ARGUING WITH HIM ABOUT HIS IMAGINARY "WEALTH".
He NEVER paid restitution for his FEDERAL FELONY MAIL FRAUD SCAMS and so, he CAN'T have ANY assets.
He gets State and Federal subsidies in order to stay in his shack, he lives by subsisting on welfare, and he has NEVER made more than a slight percentage more than the poverty line.
And all of his "mink farm" bullshit would be easily researched through the Pine County MN Tax Assessors Office.
Little Stevie is a scam artist, a liar and a CONVICTED FELON.
Stop arguing about gold with him, HE OWNS NOTHING and has NEVER paid restitution for his FEDERAL CRIMES.
HE
IS
A
LIAR.
Harpie, the One that you refer to is the PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA
You lost he won. Go Fuck yourselve with a corncob.
You anti Americian Punk. Move to Germany, with your cock sucking buddy.
Does anybody want to see Stevie Lloyd's Pine County Tax Bill and subsidies?
LOOK IT UP.
Take a nap, Stevie Lloyd. Come back in the middle of the night as 2 of your sock puppets and "talk" to "each other" / (yourself).
The scary monsters that live in your "superior brain" won't 'git chew' until you wake up.
Ya paranoid freak and LIAR.
Walk softly but carry a big stick as Teddy Roosevelt used to say. Instead of invading Afghanistan without a plan, cheney should have sent in the B-52's from Diego Garcia like they did in the first gulf war. They carried cruise missiles and fired and they weren't anywhere near Iraq. We should have fitted the cruise missiles with low-yield nuclear weapons and taken out every damn al-quaida training camp in the country. chimp's buddy bin jackin-off wouldn't have gotten away. But then again, maybe that's how cheney and chimp planned it to cover up their mishandling of the vast amount of intelligence they had that al quaida was going to strike New York.
Why are we such pussies yet strut around the world like we are the master race?
If Iran acts up we should do the same to them.
Of course if we ended a war too soon, the military/industrial complex would not get rich at our expense.
59johhne on November 26, 2009 at 10:03 PM
Johne, your screed must be (a) tongue in cheek satire all the way or else (b) a throwback to the muscular Democrat sentiment typical of the Senator Boeing "Scoop" Jackson Days (before Iran had Nukes.)
What I can't understand is why blogmaster (Noah?) blog-killed a couple of my own posts that sounded like I was excoriating anyone attempting to control the politically correct message concerning "Globull" warming because it seems the more alarmist articles are excluded along with the denialist ones.
He should read the posts a little more carefully.
I certainly had to read carefully to see who were the good guys and who were the bad on this blog. Both "debate teams" were resorting to the identical form of personal abuse, being too clever by half.
I not only favor the proposed international measures to retard global warming but I think we should ALSO be working on a large scale exit strategy...FROM THIS PLANET!
Am I a loyal Dem? I'd be willing to compare the campaign contributions I've made to the Democratic National Committee, the Senatorial CC, the Congressional CC, a Senatorial election contest, and various individual democratic senate and congressional campaigns at the state and national level ...with other Democrats in my lower middle class tax bracket.
I'm Democrat because I believe in the U.S. TWO PARTY system and that we're obliged to pick the party which most resembles our own beliefs and convictions. If the party seems to be drifting away from it's own best nature then we should speak up. E pluribus unum.
Good night fellow Americans. Keep the Faith and keep the faith. Yes we can, yes we will, and yes we did!
...For all those whose cares have been our concern; the work goes on, the cause endures, the hope still lives, and the dream shall never die.
adlib2 on November 27, 2009 at 07:25 PM
Go away sock puppet.
Oh Stevie Lloyd.....
Come out and Plaaaaaayyy.
You never voted for Palin hoping that McCain would die because YOU ARE A FEDERAL FELON WHO NEVER COMPLETED RESTITUTION so you CAN NOT VOTE.
You used to "brag" that you "choose" not to vote but we all now know that that is not the case. YOU CAN'T!
So, since you are NOT a voting citizen, and since your bullshit means nothing in particular,
GET LOST YOU CRIMINAL!
When Sally looses a argument, it comes back as a sock puppet.

Chassie,
After the 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and fire, most of the banks had to wait two weeks or more for the safes to cool down before they could open them otherwise the paper money would simply flash into ashes.
A.P. Gianini, the founder of the Bank of America was smart. He loaded his banks assets of $80,000 in paper money into orange crates, put the oranges back on top and hauled it all by wagon to San Mateo (a town about 17 miles south of the city). After the fire was out, he hauled the money back to San Francisco and resumed banking on two sawhorses and a door and started lending money and became very successful. The other banks after waiting two weeks were well behind the curve.
This Italian had a brain.
Speaking of melting down, I would like to see the bush and cheney crime cartels melt down into a puddle of piss.

Hi Essie,
I'll bet you are having a great time with girls and babies.
A toast to you and the carpenter. Enjoy your holiday.
thank you, johne. it was nice. Miss Lily was funny opening her presents.
Time to settle in for the evening.
peaceful rest, everyone.
Whatever happens, conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ. Then, whether I come and see you or only hear about you in my absence, I will know that you stand firm in one spirit, contending as one man for the faith of the gospel without being frightened in any way by those who oppose you. This is a sign to them that they will be destroyed, but that you will be saved--and that by God.
— Philippians 1:27-28
The religious freak asshole senators and congressmen are bitching about abortion. They are bitching that "Obamacare" will put the government between you and your doctor. Then we have that stupid prick stupak stuffing an abortion clause in the House bill outlawing abortion for EVERYONE and not just in cases where government money is involved.
THESE BASTARDS ARE INJECTING THE GOVERNMENT BETWEEN YOU AND YOUR DOCTOR BY OUTLAWING ABORTION FOR ALL. These people need to be shouted down and physically thrown out of the Congress permanently.
They can't have it both ways.
DoPeyDumfuq is trying to get me to do what Pammy did when she admitted that she is a cyber stalker and in fact cyber stalking is her hobby
Your lack of sense of humor must have been such a disappointment to your Father----who wrote books of humor! What is it about you stiff, cold, hard , unloved Repugs, that you do not know a joking taunt when you see it.
It is over, global frickin warmin was a farce. Duh, how long have I been telling you so?
Well, if you mean how long have you been making a fool, and an uneducated, uninformed idiot----just about 6 years now!
Never believed a word out of your mouth, never will.
Do you not understand that those emails were generated BECAUSE of deniers like YOUSELF?
They were to defend the positions of the Scientists who KNOW and UNDERSTAND there is global Warming.
Even there in the arse-hole of the world, MN, you can see the evidence for yourself, you choose not to, because to do so means you admit your were wrong.
1) if the earth is warming how come our winters are colder than ever? They are NOT. You are reading the wrong bullcrap!
NOTE: who #1 city is!!!!!
Midwestern cities, including Minneapolis, Chicago, Milwaukee and Omaha, show at least a 0.2ºF increase
annually. That equals a 6.0ºF increase over a 30 year period. Cities are experiencing temperature
increases in every United States region except the Pacific.
The study uses thirty years of historical data from 130 National Weather Service Stations to determine
winter and summer temperature trends for U.S. cities with a population of at least 100,000.
Top Five Cities Experiencing Winter Warming Trends
#1 Minneapolis/ St. Paul, Minnesota
Annual Trend Temperature: 0.2°F
Over 30 Years: 6.4°F
It’s not Minnesota summers that bring in the tourists. Winters are the bread-and-butter for the state.
Warmer winters are bad news for the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul. The cities host winter
tourists who flock to the state for winter recreation. Skiing, snowmobiling and ice fishing businesses face
revenue losses and cost increases when the mercury rises.

(And don't tell me it is because of city sidewalks, freakazoid----there are no Winter resorts in the city streets.)
today's forecast calls for sunshine and highs in the 50's. After hanging the laundry out and cleaning the house, I plan on walking the state route picking up people's trash they threw out their car window. too bad they didn't get caught and fined.
it's a shame that people don't take care of the Earth.
bunch of slackers.
enjoy the day, everyone.
Her children arise and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praises her: "Many women do noble things, but you surpass them all."

Morning Esme,
Isn't it so amusing----these trolls cannot think of ONE SINGLE positive thing to post about their Party, their candidates, their leaders, their platform, their health plan, their failed wars, so all they can do when they come in here, instead of the debate they say they long to have, is attack us all as having fat asses !
I guess that is because they see the back side of their 'other halfs' all day while they sit on here, and it is all that is on their mind.
Bet at 50+ years old, the dumpling is getting a thickening waist and thighs, but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder, and he still considers himself lucky to have fooled 'the love of his life' into a life of misery with him! too bad about those non existent sperms of his, though.
uh oh, the Radical righties are gonna be mad at their hero Beck !
Glenn Beck: ‘Yapping’ Palin belongs in the kitchen
"So while she's considering it ... I just want her to know, I'm ruling it out. A Palin-Beck ticket, I'm absolutely ruling it out," Beck said. "I’m just saying, Beck-Palin, I’ll consider. But Palin-Beck -- can you imagine what an administration with the two of us would be like? She'd be yapping or something, I'd say, 'I'm sorry, why am I hearing your voice? I'm not in the kitchen.' I mean, you'd have to live up to the evil conservative stereotypes, you'd have no choice but to do so."
What a POS she was, too !
Condi set sights on Iraq as 9/11 unfolded: UK diplomat
Not sure if Bush-Blair deal to invade Iraq was 'signed in blood,' former UK ambassador says; Iraq war inquiry could be a cover-up, critics claim
A former British ambassador to the United States says then-National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice talked to him about Iraq and Saddam Hussein hours after the attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon on Sept. 11, 2001.
Sir Christopher Meyer, who served as Britain's top diplomat in Washington from 1997 to 2003, also told an inquiry into the Iraq war that the timeline the US and Britain set to invade Iraq made it impossible for the UN to determine if Saddam Hussein had active weapons of mass destruction programs.
He also criticized former British Prime Minister Tony Blair, saying that a "stronger prime minister" like Margaret Thatcher would have been able to exert more influence on Washington and allow more time for diplomacy, while insisting on a plan for what would happen after the invasion.
On September 11, 2001, Rice reportedly told Meyer that "there's no doubt this was an Al-Qaeda operation [but] we are just looking to see if there could possibly be any connection with Saddam Hussein."
Rice's comments at the time are "important because they suggest that the United States quickly tied the attacks with Saddam's regime," writes David Stringer at the Associated Press. "Years later, President George W. Bush's administration was forced to acknowledge that they could find no connection between Saddam and the attacks."
Meyer, the former ambassador, also told the inquiry that the "unforgiving nature" of the Bush administration's plans for an Iraq invasion effectively made it impossible for chief UN weapons inspector Hans Blix to determine if Saddam had an operational weapons of mass destruction program. The Guardian reports:
Sir Christopher Meyer said the "unforgiving nature" of the build-up after American forces had been told to prepare for war meant that "we found ourselves scrabbling for the smoking gun".
He added: "It was another way of saying 'it's not that Saddam has to prove that he's innocent, we've now bloody well got to try and prove he's guilty.' And we – the Americans, the British – have never really recovered from that because of course there was no smoking gun."
I AM SO HAPPY THAT THE BRITISH ARE DOING A FORMAL INQUIRY INTO THE DECISION TO ILLEGALLY INVADE AND OCCUPY IRAQ---OUR OWN CIA AND FBI ARE TOO WEAK TO DO SO ! I LOOK FORWARD TO THE DAY, BUSH, CHENEY, RICE, RUMSFELD, AND BLAIR ARE LED OFF TO SOME DARK DUNGEON IN AN INTERNATIONAL PRISON!
Look, what other movement needs a “wordsmith” to tell them how to say things which are not true to make people believe them, as in George Lakoff (rhymes with)? Who the hell has people like that? Who needs a wordsmith to tell people how to put together statements and write legislation that essentially has “yes” meaning “no”? Who needs that? Frauds need that! People filled with deceit, people who are trying to fool us every day need help in doing it from professionals. Honesty is the last resort, and it is seldom used by anybody on the left.
Now THIS is really really funny, and as assanine a statement as I have ever seen! I don't know what Extreme Right wing ass wrote it, but they obviously do not know the history of how the Republican Party! How back in 1964, when they had another Lost election to Democrats---- Millionaire Coors, and Richard Mellon-Schaife put millions of their money into Think Tanks, Institutes, Media training, where they came up with THEIR frames they continue to use today, and which has fooled the more simple minded .
Where do they think terms like:
tax and spend
Tree huggers
weak on defense
welfare queens
Big Government
all came from? These Institutes created Ann Coulter, Tucker Carlson and many many other Right Wing hate reporters .
They used Propoganda Techniques perfected by Dr. Joseph Goebbels, Nazi Minister of Information---who taught to lie, distort, and defame.
A couple of Goebbels famous quotes:
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State." Josef Goebbels
"Of course the people don't want war. But after all, it's the leaders of the country who determine the policy, and it's always a simple matter to drag the people along whether it's a democracy, a fascist dictatorship, or a parliament, or a communist dictatorship. Voice or no voice, the people can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism, and exposing the country to greater danger."_Hermann Goering
See how easy it was for them to fool the sheeple? Those who do not think for themselves?
I get a kick out of their bringing up George Soros---who has given money to the Democrats!
Not only did Grandpa Prescott Bush finance Hitler to make the family fortune, we have Richard Mellon Schaife still pouring millions of dollars into Repug causes, plus Rev. Sun Moon pouring billions into Right Wing causes, plus his own Propoganda newspaper. To a lot of wealthy Republicans, who want to keep it that way, they are financing the largest Propoganda project in US History !
What a bunch of foolish, goosestepping, koolaid drinking people there are out there. Just a matter of finding them, and making sure they vote. Just ask Palin!
On January 15th, 2010, Americans will gather, peacably, on the DC Mall to show our continued support for the progressive agenda our POTUS campaigned on. We voted for President Obama b/c we hoped for more from our government: more compassion, more diplomacy, more honesty, more protection, and more equality.
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=206771574224
On January 15th, 2010, we will stand in opposition to the voices of fear, ignorance, and hate that have, thus far, garnered virtually all the attention of the main stream media and skewed the debate over issues that are far to important to ALL Americans.
We've written and phoned our Representatives in the House and Senate.
We've remained a diligent, anonymous, but silent majority.
Now, is the time for America to see our faces and hear our voices again. We want this to be like Denver or inaugeration day. We want to show the GOP, and the pundits that we support our President AND his agenda.
